Also that's not really a good comparison (at least in my opinion) because airplane food that I tasted so far was delicious and complete. We would have lasagna, steak, stir fry, soup etc..( and it wasn't even a fancy company)

They make precooked and seasoned grilled chicken strips that you buy frozen, for way cheaper than this. I literally microwave them and they ACTUALLY taste good and might be more convenient since to make the squares taste better you've gotta dirty a pan. they literally sell pouches of microwaveable rice, again for cheaper for a larger serving. Think they're like $1.50 now and it's easily the same as three squares. For the veggies, if you hate veggie texture- just heat up baby food and add some seasoning salt. If you like veggie texture, you can get 8oz-1lb of frozen veggies in a microwaveable streamable bag for $0.75-1.50. For fish, there's pouches of seasoned tuna/salmon that don't even need heating for around $1.50 also. As for nuts, as you said, they make 100cal pouches of nuts for cheaper than the squares. I keep some in my bag. If ya don't like the texture of nuts- nut butter exists! Basically you can make pretty easy and comparable meals with less cost and possibly less cooking/prep and more importantly- it's probably gonna taste better. Idk I get the square thing for those who have adversions to texture or the look of food, specifically for those with autism spectrum disorder. I have ASD (previously diagnosed as moderate functioning asbergers) and so I have issues with texture or look of food, for example cooked spinach, watermelon, tough cuts of beef, pork chops, yogurt drinks and more. My solutions? Eat raw spinach or have it blended into something else, watermelon popsicles (the real kind made of juice), ground beef, I avoid pork tbh, and I eat actual yogurt. If you're a desperate caregiver to an autistic dependent, squares might be a valuable tool. You could also make your own with molds and some simple ingredients like starches to bind things and stuff like gelatin to help hold the shape for cold items.

Both Drew and Danny are ex-viners, they have brown hair and blue eyes, they have hot blonde wives, and they both do commentary videos. A few years ago it was actually such a popular joke that Drew and Danny went on a comedy tour together, called the "We Are Two Different People Tour" (and they travelled with another mutual friend of theirs, Kurtis Conner). They even collaborated to make a song in order to promote the tour! That being said, while that was funny years ago, it's not relevant these days and it's kind of a worn-out joke. And, like you said, new viewers have a harder time picking up on the joke. It's very dated and old by this point, so it really does take a lot of digging to understand it. I don't blame you for not knowing. If you want to learn more about Danny and Kurtis, I recommend you check out Drew's collaboration videos where he is with Danny and Kurtis. Also, the tiny food is often served as part of multiple courses, not just the one. So not only are you going to be full by the end of your 13 different tiny dishes, but you get to view the food as art, too. It's basically dinner and a show, mixed with amazing cooking and the potential to try something new. Not trying to seem too worked up about it, but then again I can't really help it because I'm really passionate about cooking and art lol. I really respect the culinary world and the years of mastery that goes into it.

everything is better as squares.....i love squares the greatest shape.
They make precooked and seasoned grilled chicken strips that you buy frozen, for way cheaper than this. I literally microwave them and they ACTUALLY taste good and might be more convenient since to make the squares taste better you've gotta dirty a pan. they literally sell pouches of microwaveable rice, again for cheaper for a larger serving. Think they're like $1.50 now and it's easily the same as three squares. For the veggies, if you hate veggie texture- just heat up baby food and add some seasoning salt. If you like veggie texture, you can get 8oz-1lb of frozen veggies in a microwaveable streamable bag for $0.75-1.50. For fish, there's pouches of seasoned tuna/salmon that don't even need heating for around $1.50 also. As for nuts, as you said, they make 100cal pouches of nuts for cheaper than the squares. I keep some in my bag. If ya don't like the texture of nuts- nut butter exists! Basically you can make pretty easy and comparable meals with less cost and possibly less cooking/prep and more importantly- it's probably gonna taste better. Idk I get the square thing for those who have adversions to texture or the look of food, specifically for those with autism spectrum disorder. I have ASD (previously diagnosed as moderate functioning asbergers) and so I have issues with texture or look of food, for example cooked spinach, watermelon, tough cuts of beef, pork chops, yogurt drinks and more. My solutions? Eat raw spinach or have it blended into something else, watermelon popsicles (the real kind made of juice), ground beef, I avoid pork tbh, and I eat actual yogurt. If you're a desperate caregiver to an autistic dependent, squares might be a valuable tool. You could also make your own with molds and some simple ingredients like starches to bind things and stuff like gelatin to help hold the shape for cold items.

I had been a fan of you along with Danny and Kurtis and your humor always stood out to me and the way you format this video and the way you deliver your words and jokes made this video so memorable to me. Basically there has been a long-standing "joke" within Drew Gooden's and Danny Gonzalez's combined community (they are good friends); the joke itself being that they are the same person. Both Drew and Danny are ex-viners, they have brown hair and blue eyes, they have hot blonde wives, and they both do commentary videos. A few years ago it was actually such a popular joke that Drew and Danny went on a comedy tour together, called the "We Are Two Different People Tour" (and they travelled with another mutual friend of theirs, Kurtis Conner). They even collaborated to make a song in order to promote the tour!
That being said, while that was funny years ago, it's not relevant these days and it's kind of a worn-out joke. And, like you said, new viewers have a harder time picking up on the joke. It's very dated and old by this point, so it really does take a lot of digging to understand it. I don't blame you for not knowing.
If you want to learn more about Danny and Kurtis, I recommend you check out Drew's collaboration videos where he is with Danny and Kurtis. Some of them are even from when all three of them were on tour, so you can kind of begin to understand where this all comes from.

I have to admit the squares are... Weirdly aesthetically pleasing. I don't imagine ever eating them for a prolonged period of time at home, but if it was like a thing in gimmick restaurant and it was quality ingredients and freshly made, I would probably go there every other week to have my squares.

There used to be a place with healthy instant ramen in Japan where you got to choose freeze dried toppings that were all cubes which reminds me of that. You got to choose your noodles, soup base and vegetable cubes and then take your custom ramen cups home. Genuinely cool.

It does seem silly at a glance, but chefs in fancy restaurants get paid well for a reason. Also, the tiny food is often served as part of multiple courses, not just the one. So not only are you going to be full by the end of your 13 different tiny dishes, but you get to view the food as art, too. It's basically dinner and a show, mixed with amazing cooking and the potential to try something new.
Not trying to seem too worked up about it, but then again I can't really help it because I'm really passionate about cooking and art lol. I really respect the culinary world and the years of mastery that goes into it.
