He blinked. So did she. He blinked again. So did she. They looked at each other. They looked at each other in the eyes. They liked it. Then they kissed and they hugged and the kiss was awesome and the hug was awesome. There was so much love in this kiss - but it was never really about her and it was never really about him. It was about the people who were there to cheer them on. She'd always been there for him. He'd always been there for her, when he needed it. It was time to leave. They left the house packed into a car going to San Fran. It took them two days to get there. It took them another two days to find their apartment. It took them two days to find the bathroom. And It took them two days to find the shower. There was lots of weird things happening there. There were things about the beach, the people, the people were sick and tired of the beach, the waterfalls, the wind, the winds. The beach was like a ghost town, filled with nothing but weird stuff. People were playing games and joking with ghouls.
Silent ice is actually a thing, they're movie props meant to be silent so it doesn't interfere with the shoot in case someone moves it, and then the noise of ice is usually just added later if needed, but I'm not sure if it actually keeps things cold tbh

The price they show when you add it to the cart is probably the “subscription” price and in order to get it you have to subscribe instead of doing a 1x purchase. My guess is there’s some sort of tiny fine print somewhere on the website. Personally I think it’s a terrible practice and companies should not adopt this structure. But that is my guess as to how they get away with it.
Thank you so much for addressing how expensive really healthy eating is. I've been trying to eat more anti-inflammatory foods per my doctor's recommendation to potentially treat some of my medical issues, and what I've found is that so much of this stuff is more expensive in about four different ways: the higher sticker prices, the smaller quantities, the less filling ingredients, and the quicker expiration times. Easily less than half of what I eat fits my doctor-recommended diet because I simply can't afford more.
I think there are some foods and food groups that most people in nutritional science can confidently say are altogether unhealthy, but you could probably find one pro- and one anti- advocate for every known “healthy” food there is. Nutrition science is very much divided. As much as I have come to know nutrition, the word “healthy” is not helpful. You need a goal to determine your eating, and it sounds like you’ve done that. Fat loss? Longevity? Thyroid health? Inflammation? Fertility? A food choice for fat loss might be one to avoid for thyroid health even as both may be considered healthy in commonplace nutrition. Then it gets complicated, and it paralyses people’s decision making. What are people to do, other than eat “healthy” foods that their doctor advises, that happen to be expensive? I don’t blame them and I don’t know the solution.
Don't sleep on frozen produce! It's harvested at peak ripeness, doesn't go bad as easily, and is usually cheaper than fresh produce. Also, buying dried beans is like 5x cheaper than canned and contain no sodium. Soak them overnight in your fridge, and they'll cook way faster. Plus the aqua fava (bean juice) can be rinsed away if beans upset your stomach, or (even better) if it doesn't upset your stomach it works in a bunch of vegan recipes for things like replacements for egg whites and it's free if you're already buying beans. Just be mindful of your B12 if you cut out or reduce animal products and/or if you drink a lot of alcohol; you may need a supplement
On the water thing, he sweats most of it out. That's why he drinks so much. If you aren't working out and sweating for a large amount of time, you will have to pee very, very often.
I've been working in a greenhouse (manual labour in a hot place) and I was unfazed by the amount of water when Drew first mentioned it. I was like "Yeah, I've had those days". I was surprised that Drew never caught onto it considering that Tom Brady is a sports guy.
My go to for a lazy healthy meal is overnight oats. You can use water if you want it low calorie and cheap. Milk if you want some more calories. Plant milk if you don't eat dairy. You can add any nut butter for extra protein and healthy fat. Same for chia seeds (tho they can be a little pricey, but you only need a tablespoon). And you can sweeten it with half a mashed banana if you don't want to add sugar. You can also add frozen fruit for some more vitamins and flavor. Super easy. It literally takes 5 minutes of prep and you have breakfast the next morning and it lasts up to 4 days in the fridge so you only have to make it twice a week. I like making mine in mini mason jars. You can heat them up in the microwave if you prefer hot oatmeal (make sure the metal lids are off) Also, on week's when bagged salad kits are on sale 2 for $5, I'll get those for lunch. Turn the bag sideways, cut it open on the long edge, and then the bag turns into a bowl so no dirty dishes! You can also add rotisserie chicken or canned beans for protein on days when you don't have time to cook those things from scratch. Those two "hacks" make the work week so much smoother and saves you money. That way all you have to worry about is dinner. If you don't feel like cooking often, do something like make a big batch of chili for cheap on Sunday and then you'll have dinner for the week and it freezes great if you get sick of it. (I really recommend any of the chili recipes from The Food Lab by Kenji Lopez Alt, who also has a cooking UA-cam channel) Hope that helps!
@KuueenKumi I've struggled for too long to gatekeep lol. If you want any specific advice, just ask and I'll help if I can The funny thing is that I looooove cooking, but I'm also bipolar and ADHD. So sometimes you just need one less thing to think about, ya know?

Omfg the pliability part, where Tom Brady is wildly kicking his legs like a petulant toddler while some guy furiously massages his thighs is the funniest thing I've ever seen, maybe. 😂
Honestly, I think Drew’s at the top of his game and is easily the best creator in his genre. So many videos like this, where a person attempts to explore a topic or try a lifestyle, fall short of being comprehensive and leave me wishing the person was more honest and thorough. Drew’s videos don’t have that problem. It never feels like he’s afraid to offend anyone, yet he never says anything offensive. His comedy is rare form for this spheres of UA-cam.
He drinks so much water that the rain doesn’t fall on the ground anymore and instead goes directly to his mouth. The crops are wilting, but Tom Brady is still not satisfied. We don’t have much time left.
2:45 Realistically, Drew changed the way an entire generation reads a common construction sign. I think he will be remembered as long as those signs are used.
"An absence of feeling bad" is a great way to sum up eating healthily. Eating sh*t food all the time, you feel like sh*t but it becomes normal. Eat well and then eat junk and you have that "a ha" moment
@brenton thacker it isn’t if you do it Tom’s way, but eating healthy is often cheaper than eating junk. Just don’t get special organic versions of food.
@brenton thacker Exactly this. You don't have to pay through the nose to make dietary changes. Helps to get an expert opinion, but between research and a good doctor you can make some real change, and you don't have to fork over hundreds of dollars to already rich people.
genuinely really appreciate someone who isn't a usual dieter or 'health junkie' talk about food in a casual way as someone who struggles with both extremes of disordered eating, hearing you just honestly talk about how you felt and admitting to low points and just, like letting them happen and carrying on was really refreshing :)
I can offer you some simple advice: Eliminate sugar and severely reduce your carbs. Start reading the labels because sugar is in everything. Make simple meals: Ribeye steak, potato, broccoli. It's delicious and NOT fattening. You don't have to eat the breast meat. Fat is not fattening.
“Silent ice” has legitimately become a homebrew magic item in my D&D campaign that my players adore. It (can be melted into silent water, and gives you temporary advantage on stealth when ingested.)
The most relatable part was when Drew said his blender broke and he just said "Okay, well I guess I'm not doing that anymore." to making smoothies. Basically my entire life in a nutshell.

note for everyone: if you go on a diet like this and find that you suddenly don't have pain or a weird symptom, then you're probably allergic or can't tolerate something you cut out
My mom tried a low-calorie diet because she thought her stomachaches were a result of being overweight. When she started, they went away within a week. She thought at first it was a result of the dieting, but really she just had a problem digesting sugar. Now she can eat whatever she likes, just without much sugar, and there’s no pain. I think a lot of people turn to diets as a universal cure, but actually we have pretty specific problems that can be solved with less extreme measures. A lot of diets can be pretty unhealthy. As a person who also has digestive problems/allergies, I would recommend cutting some common ones out for a week one at a time, just in case
Yes!!! This comment and the replies makes me appreciate my GI doctor! She makes finding my food allergies that much easier and she’s always good about offering an alternative.
I went vegan at one point and that's how I realized I am lactose intolerant lmao. I was way gassier on account of eating so many veggies, but my chronic stomach pain and diarrhea just stopped.
honestly, while I will not be buying this diet, this is the most motivational video I've ever seen about starting a diet. I think it's because I trust that Drew is a regular person and that if he can do it, and it made him feel better, I can too
This might be my favorite Drew video in a while. I know he said it took him two months to make and he doesn’t want to go through that again, but I feel like the extra month of work he put into it allowed him to get really creative and sharpen his jokes and transitions really well.
The cold brew and American brewed iced coffee have the most caffeine of any Starbucks drink. If you want slightly better coffee flavor with less caffeine, try an iced Americano (espresso + water) or an iced latte (espresso + milk), but remember to add sweetener or flavor if you're expecting that. 💖Love 💖, an ex Starbucks employee
With regards to the water bottle, the website states that Tom drinks 5 bottles of water on "active days", implying that he's either playing football or training, both of which would drain the water from your stomach/bladder (from sweat, being absorbed into the blood and muscles and regulating body temperature) a lot quicker than if you sit around a lot of the time like I assume Drew does. Hence, Drew needing to piss a lot.
yeah lol I remember going through band camp in 120° degree weather and needing like five water bottles not to feel thirsty when you're exercising your body burns through that water really fast and barely have to piss
Also when you’re not used to drinking large quantities of water it can take a while for your body to adjust and you tend to piss more for like a few weeks
Drew, there’s something I need to know about a shirt you wear in this video, the black one with the great wave design. The kanji on it says “bento”, which is boxed lunch. Like the one you would pack for a child. I need to see the rest of that shirt. I need the context, Drew.

I know this is old, but as someone who has a lot of experience with electrolytes due to a chronic illness - ELECTROLYTES TASTE. LIKE. FEET. Except for when you’re experiencing an electrolyte imbalance :) so electrolytes first thing in the morning and especially after rigorous exercise/work/movements that cause you to sweat a lot actually are pretty good, though I’d say that first thing in the morning is a BIT excessive because you’re not as dehydrated, but still. On the silent ice idea: if you made clear, gelatinous cubes that insulated cold really well and put them in the fridge, you could hypothetically have silent ice because the bounciness of the substance would reduce noise
Actually jello/gelatin gets super crispy in the freezer. A lot of people like to eat it that way. It's a common topping for some frozen dessert that I can't remember right now

It didn't look that big to me, about the size of a hydroflask, which is heavy because they're metal but a plastic one would be fine. Mostly for someone who's away from home all day though. If you want comically large, how about the blue bottles I saw kids in my high school use, they were literally a smaller version of those big blue jugs you put on a water cooler, and held like a gallon of water. My dad had a plastic barrel shaped travel mug he used to drink 3 liters of soda and ice out of when we went on road trips.

Drew's "some of the things Tom Brady believes aren't actually backed by science" is 100% confirmed when the first two restrictions are knocking out two categories from the food pyramid...
@msjkramey right, but the whole "cut these out forever" thing is ridiculous. As if having a Twix or tuna salad every now and then is gonna have literally ANY bearing on your health as a whole. That's the part that isn't scientifically backed. What affects your health is your diet as a whole, so cutting out foods entirely is pointless.

how is that bait and switch in-cart price tactic legal
I have no idea. I can only assume it’s a glitch because it’s pretty scummy if it was intentional

Sorry to hear that, hope you find a solution soon. Have a great day
@@placeholderdoe Thank you.
A good solution in that case it's to cook in bulk. Also what you spend in time you invest in health down the line

"I don't have the energy to cook, so I don't eat enough, so I don't have the energy to cook..."
You've described my life lol
You can heat them up in the microwave if you prefer hot oatmeal (make sure the metal lids are off)
Also, on week's when bagged salad kits are on sale 2 for $5, I'll get those for lunch.
(I really recommend any of the chili recipes from The Food Lab by Kenji Lopez Alt, who also has a cooking UA-cam channel)
Hope that helps!

note for everyone: if you go on a diet like this and find that you suddenly don't have pain or a weird symptom, then you're probably allergic or can't tolerate something you cut out
I often wonder how many people are allergic or sensitive to gluten that never realize it..

To mirror that though what day is Tom not training? Lol
Rest days, probably. He'd mess up his muscles if he didn't take them
Also, when you’re running around, your body actually conserves water, therefore not pissing as frequently
yeah lol I remember going through band camp in 120° degree weather and needing like five water bottles not to feel thirsty when you're exercising your body burns through that water really fast and barely have to piss
Also when you’re not used to drinking large quantities of water it can take a while for your body to adjust and you tend to piss more for like a few weeks

Anyway, hope you're having a good night :) (yes, you. the person reading this. No, I don't care that you're not Zana, you're going to have a good night and you're gonna like it damn it! BECAUSE I SAID SO!)
Coming from someone who was a quarterback and a pretty good one, drew you’re doing it all correct. This is the way to become a football
Low key flex hidden in a crappy joke
@@Augdogfrogslog lmao yeah i guess you're right
I laughed
I also want to become a football
Never seen something that so completely embodies the concept of "comically large" like the Big Tom. Every time it was on screen I started laughing.
I want one just for the joke but I have no muscle I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to lift it 😂

Man the toilet breaks is real through. Seriously, if you drink that much I can easily say 2-3 hours as well whenever I tried going harder on water. Nobody should drink that much water or have a jug you cant even have in a backpack lol.
@@-desertpackrat I get you people at Uni will literally bring a 3.5 litters water bottle everyday
i’ve rewatched this video at least 6 times. not only is it entertaining, but there’s also something so comforting ab it.
I was just starting to think: “Drew has been looking very Brady-ey lately, I wonder if he has been trying to live like him for a month”
Agree it was my first thought
nah fr
glad to know i wasn't the only one thinking this
i love this
so glad someone said it. such an astute observation
Tom Brady just throws his footballs all the way to the grocery store, they pick up the ingredients and return to him like a boomerang
Why did I actually laugh at this😂💀
@@Jp_-dd1rl good, that was my intention
@@hilacopter4023 damn i started crying not from laughing but from getting hit by that football when I was buying the big tom

It’s nice that Drew’s descent into madness is being so well documented
HAHA I imagined you meant this in general, not just related to this video, and laughed
This is hilarious because he just retired again literally exactly a year after. This world is wild lol
I’m watching this after the 2nd retirement. Should Drew try this again
Is he still retired
I've always loved drew since his vine days but it's rare for a creator to grow and change sm and still make amazing videos. His recent spending obscene amounts of money of dumb stuff vids have been amazing. Another great vid Drew!
Ikr. Most of the vine crowd eventually faded into obscurity. Only a few learned to diversify and continue making engaging content
the clip of Tom Brady just swinging his legs so violently made me laugh so hard
WODINA YEAH.

@@charlotte-hb7jg thank you 😂
“I would do the same thing, if I was the worst.” Spoken like a true Dolphins fan.

why does Tom Brady look like a different combination of vaguely recognizable people every time I see a picture of him
Generic looking yt man
I love how Drew still talks shit about the moon-pod.
“He blinked. So did she.
He blinked again. So did she.
They looked at each other. They looked at each other in the eyes. They liked it. Then they kissed and they hugged and the kiss was awesome and the hug was awesome.
The end.”
Best book ending I’ve ever read. Props to you.
“i get it, i would also do the same thing if i was the worst” i laughed so hard !!!
Drew's "some of the things Tom Brady believes aren't actually backed by science" is 100% confirmed when the first two restrictions are knocking out two categories from the food pyramid...
Wait, what did he knock out of the food pyramid? Sugar and meat? You don't need those
@msjkramey right, but the whole "cut these out forever" thing is ridiculous. As if having a Twix or tuna salad every now and then is gonna have literally ANY bearing on your health as a whole. That's the part that isn't scientifically backed. What affects your health is your diet as a whole, so cutting out foods entirely is pointless.
@@msjkramey most people still NEED those
The food pyramid is very outdated and not backed by science either.

Tom just felt so intimidated by Drew coming after his quarterback position that he had to unretire
i read unretire as urinate at first and i didn't even bat an eye considering how much drew talks about him drinking so much water and peeing
It was so validating to see someone talk about how much of a disparity there is between cheap, healthy, fast food:///
Really? A bunch of chicken, potatoes, frozen veggies, canned shit and some spices is expensive?
@@ThePainkiller9995 it depends on where you live, because the whole food desert thing. You can get a whole meal at mcdonalds for 5$ but try spending 5$ trying to eat healthy and you’ll see the difference. Its may seem like a very small amount of money, however with the amount of people who live paycheck to paycheck or on general low income its not a hard decision to cut money on highly priced food as long as you stay fed. That doesn’t even account for people who have kids either
@@cookiesandpudding8485 in a food desert, maybe, but for the average person buying a lot of chicken and frozen veggies is cheap af. People just confuse eating fancy (non-gmo, organic and other marleting gimmicks, plus other shit you dont really need like blueberries) with eating healthy
@@cookiesandpudding8485 i agree that if you have kids and such and are already working 2 jobs or something you simply might not have the time to cook
@@ThePainkiller9995 yes, yes it is. When chicken is $10+ for a single meal, and then you have to get a shit ton of overpriced vegetables that may or may not be in season, then to make it taste good have to add at least $5 of spices and canned stuff. It’s kinda whack how expensive it can be to just eat normal food vs extremely processed takeaways
I can’t get over how strong Drew’s glasses prescription is LOL
@cosmic trickster that's pretty sensitive
@cosmic trickster I have a strong prescription and I think it's funny
where does he mention it ?
@cosmic trickster maybe it’s time for you to get over it
@@bladeefan3 19:07 he doesn't mention it, but you can tell he has a really strong prescription when he is wearing his glasses. glasses with a strong prescription make your eyes/sides of your face look smaller or bigger depending if you're nearsighted or farsighted
Holy shit, they really should've included some smaller starter sizes to work up to those vibrating pliability shapes, but then again trusting Drew's resolve has never led me astray
wow im so proud of you!! its honestly insane that you were able to do it for a whole month and only had two minor slips? crazy. your last several videos have had so much put into them and im so proud of you! youre doing so great!
for the past few weeks ive had to handle a family emergency, and it was extremely taxing for me. Last night I took a ten hour drive back home from south florida to Atl, and passed through orlando on the way. i like how the ending of the book Drew finished is very similar to the ending of Passion or Pancakes that future Drew (Nathan Baylet) writes. Coincidence?
