I used to try to make chicken noodle soup when I was little, but couldn't figure out how. My parents once caugh tiny me in the kitchen with a pot of cold tap water with a carrot and some pepper in it in the floor.
This reminded me the time when me and my brother used to stay at our grandma's house and we did similar stuff. We crumbled some cookies into a bowl, added some juice or water, chocolate, wafers or some other sweets and make it into "new" cookies. It was disgusting but also so much fun. :)

The coffee at the end is actually called dalgona coffee! it is very popular in places all over Asia it's much easier to use an electric beater for a minute or so and only lightly mix in to milk of choice as it creates a light almost milkshakey type texture and taste :)
And if you don’t really mix it into the milk it floats on top so you have small bits of really stong flavor and then clean the taste with the milk 🤣 it’s delicious btw

I really love when Tiktok America discovers the most basic things. I am Italian and here in some caffés you can actually find big bowls of "whipped coffee" and you can add a spoon of it to your espresso/latte or whatever. Here we make it like this: you make some regular coffee, then pour it into a bowl, add some sugar and then mix it really fast (it's like whipped cream so you have to whip it, lol) and we call it literally "coffee cream" because we add it on top of hot coffees. We even use it as frosting for cakes or just enjoy it with some chocolate powder/syrup. It's delicious :)

My friends and I used to mess around in college and say we were so poor that we had to eat cheeto water, which was essentially just cheeto powder in water. I apologize for inadvertently creating this monstrosity.
The craziest thing to me about Getti's hot cheetos mac n cheese is that instead of doing the logical thing, which is just crushing up the cheetos into a fine powder to add AFTER the macs are cheesed... she boils them down into a lumpy neon lava that eclipses the miniscule amount of cheese sauce. You can't drain water from mush at that point.
Another option is to powderize the Cheetos and add them into an otherwise normal macaroni cheese roux.. And it'd taste.. Well, probably actually pretty good! Then just top the macaroni with crumbled Cheetos and it'd be perfect. And if you make homemade macaroni, please make a roux and don't use packaged cheese stuff. It's way better and worth it too.
I’d imagine it would like be SO much better if she made it like regular Mac and cheese and then DRAINED the water ADDED some milk (just a little bit) mixed the cheese in with the Macaroni and the “hot Cheeto powder” on top :)

The coffee hack is actually how you make Dalgona coffee so it's a legit recipe. The extra work adds to the flavor and it doesn't really take too long if you go fast with the whip :D
I love dalgona coffee! Using an electric mixer is a must though. It’s my go to when I want an iced coffee at home but don’t have anymore of the store bought stuff.

the whole thing about the chips omelette comes originally from spain. it is based on a real hack for making fast tortilla espanol, which calls for small cut fried potatoes, for which potato chips are the ideal workaround. normally you only just mix the ingredients in the chips bag and pour the whole thing in a pan and fry it both sides, or you can also bake it in a heat proof cast iron pan in the oven.

15:50 the purpose of putting the first egg in the bag was probably to keep your attention. On tiktok you have 5 seconds tops to capture someone’s attention and if your cooking it’s hard to do a long shocking video so you need something quick and immediate to make the viewer go “what the hell” and stay till the end, you NEED that immediate shock factor. It’s also the reason all the videos never explain what they’re making in the end and just start by pouring lays products into boiling water.

I have experience with blades too and I have bent them really easily many times. I have snapped them before too, a while ago, and I remember it took a bit of time to do. I don't recall it being that easy because of the material of the blade. Blades are really flexible so I don't think you need to worry about them breaking from soft foods, although it's a stupid hack that is dangerous. If they were pretending to cut up nuts or something then it could break the blades.
I have this awful phobia of swallowing small objects, especially sharp ones, so even looking at an image of a razor makes me incredibly uncomfortable. I was in distress during the whole strawberry hack, had to skip the rest of it
this sort of reminds me of a game we played as children. i went to an all male boarding school and one of us had a small handheld battery operated fan. he stuck snapped razor blades to the fan blades and we'd spin it and holding a fruit like a grape in our mouths we'd try to get the spinning fan to slice the grape in half. its a miracle no one was seriously injured other than an occasional nick on the lips. i think of that every time boomers blame social media for making kids do stupid things like eating tide pods, as if dumb children ever needed a reason.

The coffee at the end is actually called dalgona coffee! it is very popular in places all over Asia it's much easier to use an electric beater for a minute or so and only lightly mix in to milk of choice as it creates a light almost milkshakey type texture and taste :)
And if you don’t really mix it into the milk it floats on top so you have small bits of really stong flavor and then clean the taste with the milk 🤣 it’s delicious btw

I really love when Tiktok America discovers the most basic things. I am Italian and here in some caffés you can actually find big bowls of "whipped coffee" and you can add a spoon of it to your espresso/latte or whatever. Here we make it like this: you make some regular coffee, then pour it into a bowl, add some sugar and then mix it really fast (it's like whipped cream so you have to whip it, lol) and we call it literally "coffee cream" because we add it on top of hot coffees. We even use it as frosting for cakes or just enjoy it with some chocolate powder/syrup. It's delicious :)
the way she "cooked" her spaghetti is the same way Kay's Cooking did it. we have truly come full circle with this.

The craziest thing to me about Getti's hot cheetos mac n cheese is that instead of doing the logical thing, which is just crushing up the cheetos into a fine powder to add AFTER the macs are cheesed... she boils them down into a lumpy neon lava that eclipses the miniscule amount of cheese sauce. You can't drain water from mush at that point.

Another option is to powderize the Cheetos and add them into an otherwise normal macaroni cheese roux.. And it'd taste.. Well, probably actually pretty good! Then just top the macaroni with crumbled Cheetos and it'd be perfect. And if you make homemade macaroni, please make a roux and don't use packaged cheese stuff. It's way better and worth it too.

The coffee hack is actually how you make Dalgona coffee so it's a legit recipe. The extra work adds to the flavor and it doesn't really take too long if you go fast with the whip :D
I love dalgona coffee! Using an electric mixer is a must though. It’s my go to when I want an iced coffee at home but don’t have anymore of the store bought stuff.

the whole thing about the chips omelette comes originally from spain. it is based on a real hack for making fast tortilla espanol, which calls for small cut fried potatoes, for which potato chips are the ideal workaround. normally you only just mix the ingredients in the chips bag and pour the whole thing in a pan and fry it both sides, or you can also bake it in a heat proof cast iron pan in the oven.

15:50 the purpose of putting the first egg in the bag was probably to keep your attention. On tiktok you have 5 seconds tops to capture someone’s attention and if your cooking it’s hard to do a long shocking video so you need something quick and immediate to make the viewer go “what the hell” and stay till the end, you NEED that immediate shock factor. It’s also the reason all the videos never explain what they’re making in the end and just start by pouring lays products into boiling water.

I have experience with blades too and I have bent them really easily many times. I have snapped them before too, a while ago, and I remember it took a bit of time to do. I don't recall it being that easy because of the material of the blade.
Blades are really flexible so I don't think you need to worry about them breaking from soft foods, although it's a stupid hack that is dangerous. If they were pretending to cut up nuts or something then it could break the blades.
I have this awful phobia of swallowing small objects, especially sharp ones, so even looking at an image of a razor makes me incredibly uncomfortable. I was in distress during the whole strawberry hack, had to skip the rest of it

this sort of reminds me of a game we played as children. i went to an all male boarding school and one of us had a small handheld battery operated fan. he stuck snapped razor blades to the fan blades and we'd spin it and holding a fruit like a grape in our mouths we'd try to get the spinning fan to slice the grape in half. its a miracle no one was seriously injured other than an occasional nick on the lips. i think of that every time boomers blame social media for making kids do stupid things like eating tide pods, as if dumb children ever needed a reason.
