I'm a lil new as well.. but what i think i've figured out about that particular situation is that it depends upon the FONT and what will or will not fill in! I've tried several times.. but regardless it cuts just fine... as though its filled in... if that makes sense ... I hope it does...
HELP when I ungroup my fonts (in this case I need my cursive fonts to overlap) and I try to move them they don’t overlap smoothly and just jump around on the page. I have business edition and 4.5.791
Way to fast movement to keep up as a beginner BUT great info for already strong Silhouette users! Maybe slow down a bit on instructional videos so we can all learn :) Thanks for the helpful tips!
Good but too fast. It didn't address my problem though. I have text with multiple words and I want to group them all together so that they cut as one sticker. No matter what I do with group or weld, in the cut area, it always shows it's cutting each letter out instead of cutting around the words so that I have all the words in a sticker. Any suggestions would be SO appreciated!!
Hello, I am having issues with a possible setting for the sketch pens? I’m using the machine to write letters. I uploaded my personal handwriting and the machine was working fine for a while. For some reason now the writing is double… looks like bubble lettering. How do I get rid of this? I can figure this out.
I am having a problem when I cut my text. For example when I have anything with the letter “O” It will just cut the outer part of the O and not the inner part, so it looks like a big oval circle when its cut. What am I doing wrong? Your help is greatly appreciated
Please help. How do I change the default size of the text on a project? I want to type text in individual tags and I don't want to have to resize the text every time I want to type into the next tag. Thank you.
Please help! I'm a newbie I've watched this video and finally discovered how to rotate my text and how to use the outline cut option in the send section to weld my letters. I'm making a last name stencil. I've even discovered thru trial and error the right settings to cut the clear contact paper. I realized width can not be any larger of course than the 12inch work mat, that's why I rotated it. my project measurements are 11.5 in x 24 in. The issue now seems to be it only cuts 12 inches by 12 inches. I did notice besides the red cut lines that appear around the outside of the letters after choosing the cut outline as a weld alt that there's a red cut line that runs around the 12 by 12 work mat on screen. The rest of my letters length wise are gray??
But how do you get the text to fill in????? I click the black and it only colors the outline.
