  • Welcome back to Project 750li!
In this episode we begin the top end refresh with new spark plugs, new O2 sensors, replace a busted PCV pipe, and refresh the engine air filters.
This is all preventative maintenance, with the exception of the O2 sensors which are throwing a CEL and codes.
There is lots more wrenching--and projects--for this car, so stay tuned for new episodes!
Shout out to ‪@fcpeuro‬ for always having the parts I need.
As always, thank you for watching.

Good video. I had a 2014 X6 50i with N63. I bought with low mileage and drove it to 86k with no major issues. I purchased the Dinan tune which adds almost 100 horsepower. Awesome bang for the buck. The plastic hose couplings break way before the life of the rubber hose so I replaced with brass couplings and new clamps. Saves money but also a ton of work getting to the lower hose connections.

Thanks--I've been considering the brass couplings so that is good feedback. Thanks for sharing

Plastics getting brittle and breaking is a hallmark of those N63 engines lol, the price of top mounted turbos. I had a carbon fiber engine cover on top of my S63 and it went all yellow after a while, i think the same happened to the engine cover BMW logo on yours lol.

Agreed, no doubt the first of many plastic parts I'll have to replace. But I'm loving the car and the N63
