1/8 cup sweet almond oil

A few drops of your choice of essential oils
Is this moisturiser for combination skin and acne scars? Plz reply.
iamvanessae hey girl, I don’t really like lavender smell.. would I be able to switch lavender oil for maybe tea tree oil or peppermint oil? What do you think about those oils?
Do you think I can use aloe vera 'gel' straight from the plant?
when making the 3rd moisturizer do you have to add the jojoba oil?
How about lemon oil added to aloe vera and jojoba?
Tysm girl! I'm trying to remove harsh chemicals from my routine so this video is a lifesaver😉
Yay! Happy to hear that :)
@@iamvanessae can you use the moisturiser around the eyes???
I just made the shea butter+ almond oil+ lavander essential oil and it works very well. U really need a slightly bit of cover ur face
I hope guys find this video helpful! Remember you can add more or less of any ingredient to fit your own skin needs. That’s the beauty of DIY! Experiment and make it work for you☺️
Can i use bitter almond oil Instead of the sweet one ???
How long does the cream last if one wants to try this for sale
please what is the shelf life of these products?
How long can this last. Room temperature or refrigerated
I have already made some of these and they have worked wonders for my skin
Nadia Behlouli That’s great to hear! What’s your favorite?
iamvanessae probably the cream because my skin is a bit on the dryer side 💗
How do you store the cream? Do you have to put it in the fridge? And how long does it last?
So tired and burnt out from store bought products being too harsh on my skin I've completely stopped using products and switched to what's already in my kitchen . So thankful for all these ingredients can't wait to try the aloe and oil combo.
When you don’t have any of the ingredients
If I could only pick one to invest in, it would be jojoba oil. You don't even have to add any essential oils!
Lol my parents are African, so we always have Shea butter, aloe Vera gel, and grape seed oil😂I was so lucky to find I have these
@@xoxokhadi at least you
And then you find out how easy it is to buy them and get them delivered
Thanks heaps, love! It's like my skin has decided to stop making oil this year. Everywhere is dry and cracked, and painful in spots. I love this video, and I like the DIY with natural ingredients a lot. I don't want to put a bunch of synthetic crap on my body -- so I appreciate the vid. Cheers!
Glad I could help!
I love the idea of diy since I can never settle on a moisturizer I'm happy with lol. However, I feel there are better ingredients to choose...essential oils are a risky move if you have acne prone (like me) or sensitive skin. I used kokum butter mixed with brewed matcha tea as the base. Then added colloidal oatmeal, tamamu oil, pure hyaluronic acid, and a few drops of bakuchiol. This concoction has been a God send, highly recommend it for anyone with acne prone skin who wants some anti aging benefits as well!
In what amount of each product
Im so curious about shea butter and sweet almond oil. Since it's so hard to find raw materials here in philippines so i decided to buy from BELO brand philippines. It'S a baby face and body lotion infused with cocoa butter, shea butter and sweet almond. First i was very skeptic in buying this since my skin is very oily and sensitive and sometimes combination. Im very surprised how it calm my bumps and relly controls the sebum. Im shook when it didn't make my skin oilier compare to other moisturizer. It also made in 100% natural ingredients and 0% harmful chemicals. Absolutely free from most common allergens ingredients .
Even it's not handmade formula but i must rate that SHEA BUTTER, ALMOND OIL, and COCOA BUTTER used in this video is so great for most sensitive, acne prone and oily skin. ❤❤
LoveyouVanesse Love all your videos 😘
Awesome! Thank you for sharing and thanks for watching my videos😊💕
Janicel Faith Dela Victoria Nice to hear about your experience. If u still wanna make ur own products, try getting raw materials from amazon.

The oil moisturizer is my favorite 😍😍 thank you
Mine too:)

Becky Silky it jojoba oil frankincense essential oils and lavender essential oil that’s it?

I tried #2, or the cream moisturizer twice already! it never lets me down!!!
Did it break you out?
@@mansimehrotra6463 not at all. but if you have acne prone skin, don't put any fragrance other than tea tree oil can cause break outs.
@@dalitgulkarov9462 thanks for your reply. I suffer from milia and have super dry skin. I'm seriously struggling right now.
@@dalitgulkarov9462 u mean for acne prone skin should use tea tree oil?
I love how thorough you are and you list the ingredients for us! I subscribed! 😊
I love how simple you kept this!
Will definitely try this😄
Such fantastic information! I am never going back to 'commercial' facial moisturizers...I have noticed in just the last few days changing to strictly Jojoba oil w/ Tea Tree essential oil what a difference!
This is great. How do you store the cream moisturizer and how long till it expires? I really want to give it a shot😀
How long does the cream one last before it goes bad?
The facial oil combo is what I always use 😍
Me too☺️
Very pleasant person and great personality!!!
Thank you:)
Very helpful videos! Thank you so much for all your DIY series! You’re so amazing and I love your smile!❤️
Moisturizer #2 works great for me I use it on my hair Thank you so much for sharing your recipes with us UA-camrs
Tq so much it's very helpful video for me I hope it's really works on my oily skin gel based moisturizer I need so I got it 😊instead of essential oil or jojoba oil something else can I use sis
Great video. I find myself leaning towards diy natural facial products as my skin is really sensitive so this is very helpful.
Side Q : how long does the aloe vera and jojoba moisture last?
I had REALLY bad acne on my forehead and no pimples on my cheeks, then i only used a cleanser for my whole face and vitamine e oil for my cheeks (i have combo skin, so my cheeks are dry and my t zone is oily) then my acne cleared up. but i wasn't moisturizing my tzone. So i tried the oil moisturizer in this video because i wanted a natural moisturizer and my acne was back again and i also got some pimples on my cheeks because i was also using it on my cheeks :( so it didn't work 4 me. I really liked the video tho 🌸
lmfaoowb lush cosmetics sells really good ones🙃
Thank you!! These look so nice! I've been using lush products for the past year but I'd love to try out some homemade skin care, looking forward to making these - the shea butter one looks incredible for winter!!
I'm glad you enjoyed and I hope you love homemade skincare as much as I do! Thank you so much for watching!💕💕
You are beautiful!! Your skin is flawless girl😊!! Thanks for all these tips! Saves me a lot of money if it works!! Keep up the good work 👏🏻
these are AMAZING! I used to have super acne prone skin but now I have really dry skin so I can't wait to use mask #2, btw where did you get all those containers? They're so cute!
I'm glad you found it helpful! These are all recycled containers from previous products. I love collecting glass jars! But you can also find similar ones on Amazon...just search for 2 or 4 oz containers :)
Can I use lemon oil as the essential oil for the Shea butter?
We must have the same taste in amazon products lol :) I just ordered the same jojoba oil and the same natrogix essential oil to make home made dr bronner's hemp lavendar soap! At least ive got the right stuff to make the face oil. Thanks for the recipes!
Wow such a naturally beautiful girl, very easy on the eyes 🥰
So sweet of you to say that, thank you!
This video is really helpful and oils are really beneficial for skin, but do oils cause facial hair to grow out faster as they do for our head?
It can help eyebrows and eyelashes grow:)
@iamvanessae is it going to make facial hair grow more? Cz I don't want my facial hair to get over control
no it can't grow ur facial hair
Any tips on making your skin less oily-looking after moisturizing with jojoba oil?
only use 2-4 drops . it will soak up real quick.or use rose water before & apply the oil while your face is till a bit damp.
Has anyone used these recipes? Any improvements?
I tried the first recipe containing jojoba oil for one month and it gave me more pimples than when I quit using it. I initially liked that it gave me a shiny, moist skin but throughout the day, my face turned more dry. The acne was more painful, irritated, and red. Now I just use the CeraVe Oil-free moisturizer with 30 SPF.
Sis please #2 do I need to add preservative and how do I keep it from melting or is not going to melt??
I made a batch over six months ago just as she describes. It sits on my counter in a clear jar and is as good today as it was in the beginning. No preservatives needed. Melting point seems to be above room temp. I'm guessing that my bathroom is sometimes 80F and this is still a cream without any separation. I once even used hot water to turn it into an oil over the winter. It returned to a cream state overnight. Makes an outstanding moisturizer.
Wow your skin is so beautiful and clear
Thank you!!
Thank you so much for all three of these recipes. Loved them
I've been using the cream moisturizer. I wanted to like it , but it feels so oily and heavy on my face. I like using night creams before bed and this makes every hair imaginable stick to my face. Any suggestions on something natural for night time that isn't so oily?
Great video! What do you think of using coconut oil in moisturizer? Would love to hear your opinion.
Coconut oil clogs the pores
I have acne prone skin and very oily skin.. coconut oil is a really big NO to me.. it cloggs my pores and acne starts to worsen
Love thse recipes, thanks so much for sharing. It's moisturizer #2 for me . Can you advise how do you store the cream? Do you have to put it in the fridge? and how long will it last? Appreciate your advise, 😀
great video, natural ingredients are the best

Omg i really needed this video thanks so much 🙆🏻♀️💟
Glad it was helpful!
So helpful thank you
Explained very clearly thanks !
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you I’ll be for sure making some of these
Thank you so so much beloved 🤗❤😇🙌🙏🤗❤😇🙌🙏
Loved your video. I have just two questions. What is the shelf life of the creams since there's no antioxidants or preservatives? Can I add vitamin E to the recipes? Thank you.
That moment you have super dry skin and allergic to Shea butter, cocoa butter and almond oil. It’s like impossible to find stuff for the hair and skin without any of these 😭
Rose water (toner and possible make up setter) is moisturizing for your skin, then there is Vitamin E oil, carrot seed oil and more. Just do a quick google search and you will find a world of natural ingredients other than those you are allergic to that can help you. If you are into masks, rhassoul clay is moisturizing. I hope some of these help you and your skin improves.
You’re amazing 🥹 thank you!
Glad it helped!
Good video, you were very clear an kept things simple and explained everything 👍
Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing these.
How long can you keep these?
Hi!!! I made this Shea butter moisturizer and love it!! But for some reason the cream is almost pilling or balling up. Do you know what that means or why? Thank you so much 😊 love the video so helpful
It may be because of the consistency..try to make it more smooth
Thank u for these amazing tips. Your face looks so beautiful. 💖 ps. Can u use any essential oils?
Hi! Thank you so much :) Yes you can!
Would adding pigments ruin the face moisturizer?😊
I needed this video!! Thank you so much!!👍👏👏
Yay!!! Thank you for watching🤗
Hey :).
I’m in the process of making the Shea butter moisturiser, in your video you say to let it cool before adding the sweet almond oil and when you add the almond oil, your Shea butter is still runny. However when I let mine cool (even when it’s not even completely cool) it’s starts to go hard again. :(
Do you know why this is??
Thank you. Your videos are great by the way x
I dont have acne but lil bumps on face which one shud i go for?
Same problem
I love your video, it's so simple and efficient.
I usually use aloe vera for my hair and body but I have to use it the day I make it because it turns yellow then pink. Do you use any natural preservative? Thanks!!
Hi thank you for watching! You could add vitamin E to these to help preserve them for longer :)
@@iamvanessae Thank you!
Which one should works for oily skin? Thanks in advance.
They are truly awesome 🙌😇❤🤗🙌😇❤🤗
Your recipes are amazing 🌿
Thank you!!!
please for how much time the products will last?
How do you store the diy cream? Do you have to keep it in the fridge and how long does it last?
Can you use avocado oil instead of jojoba oil in first moisturizer? Yes, for acne prone skin.
You're amazing 😊 I love ur videos so much. Thank You so much 😘 Hoping for many more subscribers 😄👍🏻
Aw thank you so much☺️💞
Can I use pumpkin oil for last one?
Anything for dry skin and psoriasis????
Mashallah Vanessa, I learnt a lot
Hi! Great video. I’m just wondering, for the shea butter moisturiser can I use Hempseed oil instead of grape seed?
do we have to add preservative in the products you made
Hi, thanks for the great video. I am looking to make a moisturizer cream with honey as its main ingredient. (apart from shea butter) Any experience on it and what oil could fit with it?
Can I use olive oil instead of almond oil for the cream moisturizer? And is tea tree oil okay as an essential oil?
How long does the cream moisturiser last and where should you store it?
Omg I can't wait to try these!!!!!
Let me know how they work for you!!💕💕
If I use the last one, will it aggravate my acne? Or is it safe to use?
Where do you get your little jar containers, they are soo cute!!
For the last one can you substitute for olive oil? And can you wearing it as a night and day moisturizer
Very helpful remedy.. Thnxxiii😍😍😍
Glad it helped! :)
quick question...can i substitute the almond oil for coconut oil? its easier for me to find..
Wow very helpful! Would you advise to add Frankincense in your moisturizer for a person with dry prone skin with some acne? Thanks!
I think frankincense is a great option for acne prone skin :)
I love your diy, but where did you get your containers and jars for the moisturizers?
I reuse/recycle them from other products I use
I could listen to you all day, that accent 😍
Does the shea butter one need to be refrigerated?
no :)
Do you use preservatives in your products? If yes please let us know how long can we keep products with those preservatives ?
I think vitamin E is a natural preservative. Anything with honey is also well preserved. Sugar, salt are also natural preservatives. But each product has an expiration date.
What is the shelf life for these products? Being that they didn't have a preservative added.
could i mixx these all together?
Tell me expire date of moisturizer #2
I want to do to the store and buy these specific ingredients..
I looooooooove your channel!!😍😍😍😍😘
Thank you so much! I’m so happy to hear that😘
How to preserve them ? For how long I can store these moisturizers?
Thank you for this amazing DIY should we keep it on the fridge ? Plz answer
These can all be stored at room temperature:)
@@iamvanessae thank you 🙏
Hey..how we can store shea butter moisturiser and till how long we can store it..
