I’ve been using this riceberry cream from liittileextra for quite some time, throughout both summer and winter, and I like it a lot. I use it occasionally now for the lovely glow it gives my skin, but it was a lifesaver, especially during the winter months. My skin tends to be super dry during winter, and nothing, even the richest ones, would help with the dryness. But, this cream has a rich, creamy texture and gives a soft glow to the face while keeping it hydrated. There were times when it was too cold for me to leave the bed and actually do a multi-step skincare routine, and this cream came to the rescue. I would totally go for it in the cold season. It’s perfect for the summer, as it doesn’t feel heavy or weigh down my face. So glad I discovered this moisturizer.
Lots of negative comments on using coconut oil here because it's "comedogenic". Never heard of that before but here's my experience with it. I'm 38 now but all the way up in to my early 30's I had really bad acne! I started using coconut oil for makeup remover, facial cleanser, moisturizer ect., and guess what? My acne nearly 100% disappeared. I stopped wearing foundation and everything! So my point is, if you're worried about it clogging your pores, just try using a little in the ways that I did and see what happens. What's the worst thing that will happen? Your acne will still be there? In further detail, any time I tried something new it always made my acne worse at the very beginning just from the change I guess. So give it a chance. My skin never reacted like that when I first started using the coconut oil though. So please try it before you get too hesitant from all these comments.
Sounds logic. I just started making diy skincare. I really lije it 😊 only thing is my 12 year old. She has these bumps that appear under eyes or around her mouth. We tryed a lot. She had a good product but very expensive and plastic bottle. I dont lije tgey idea of plastic parts i y product. Right? So im gonna try make a oatmeal creme. Her skin calms with oat.😊 i love this channel. And your whole way of living ! Wish we were neighbours 😊 but i life in europe so i will wave to you. Saying keep up this lovely sharing of tips ❤
Wash ten roses. Remove the stems. Dry them and crush to powder. In a heat proof bowl add the roses and extra virgin olive oil and place it over boiling water for 30 minutes constantly stirring. Drain and store in dark bottle In a cool dry place. Now you have rose oil. You use the same procedure as Bain Marie for melting chocolate.
Same here. I am 51 years old. I have really sensitive face. So the only thing I put on my face is just coconut oil or cocoa butter. Or other types of oils that I mix in my dropper bottle. I like to mix almond oil, coconut oil, a little bit of vitamin E and a few drops of lavender and tea tree esencial oil. My face never clog. I don’t have acne and people always compliment that my face looks healthy.
I've been making herbal creams and teas for about 3 years now. Whenever I use the beeswax I find the product called awesome to be fantastic at removing the beeswax off of my glass pitchers, my utensils, whatever I'm using. The name is the product. It is called awesome.
I just made this it looks really nice. I will try it tonight on my after I remove my makeup and wash my face. But after I made it I used what was left on my spoon that I stirred with on my arms feels really good.
Can't wait to use this! Spilled my first batch all over the stove top, expensive lesson but I persevered and made a 2nd batch. Enjoy your videos. please keep it up!
So many people say that coconut can cause acne. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, so if anyone were to get acne from coconut oil, it would be me, but thankfully that hasn't happened. My skin loves coconut oil. I love the consistency of this product. I'll probably swap out for Mango Butter because I like the texture and it doesn't have a strong scent like shea does. I like oil serums with fast absorbing oils for daytime use...so this should make a nice nighttime cream. Thanks for the lovely recipe
I have used your cream for several days and it is the most soothing, relaxing cream I have ever used! I put it on in a special way that feels and looks less heavy. I put it on wet skin with a wet flannel 2”x2” cloth. I then cover my face with a warm wet face cloth to take a little off. That usually does it! Makeup goes on easily! Thank you!
Thank you for this easy face cream. I've just come across your channel now and I really appreciate the easy and informative way you explain everything.
I also made a body butter and turned out too oily even with arrowroot powder. How can I save it? Thank u, love ur channel as new to it so enjoying learning!!

Just made this finally. My first recipe from you. I didn’t have lavender but used frankincense and Vit E. Very silky on my face. I like it:) Can’t wait to make the body butter, bath bombs and other goodies. Thanks Laura!
Thank you for sharing. This would be great for dry skin, not combination/oily skin as the coconut oil is comedogenic. Which oil can I use to replace the coconut oil? X
Thanks so much beautiful lady! I love your videos, you are truly a blessing! Can you tell me how would I convert this for a larger batch? Thanks and God Bless 😊
Question.. on this video you said 1/4 cup of Avocado oil, however on your website the ingredients states 1/8 cup. Can you please clarify? I made this cream a couple weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. Thank you!!!!
Comedogenic doesn’t mean it’s bad for skin. It has many beneficial properties & its antibacterial, works better than Benzoils used in chemical products.
Could you tell me please is it ok to use coconut butter instead of coconut oil ? thank you . ( I bought the coconut utter when I meant to but the coconut oil. ]
Hello I am from Pakistan running skincare products tell me van we add emulsifying wax in it from stppimg to melting ?? Here is hot weather in Pakistan for 8 months a year
That happens pretty frequently when you melt Shea butter. In my experience, whipping it has better results than melting it down. Another alternative is to add it last after the other ingredients have been melted. Brambleberry has some great tips on it!
Hi Laura... I just made this but didn't have any arrowroot powder. It has now solidified but can I gently heat it again and add the arrowroot and also geranium?

Hi, I made the cream and it came very solid. I guess I added a little bit too much of beeswax. Can I reheat it to add more oils to make it creamy? Also, I live on an island where we have lots of strong sun all year round. What can I add in this cream for sun protection? Carrot oil?
Hi, thank you for sharing this recipe 🙏🏿. May I ask, is there a suitable substitute for the coconut oil please? I heard it is highly comedogenic and I don’t want to encourage breakouts. Thanks in advance x
Try babasu oil. I think I spelled that right. It is similar to coconut in texture. Google search it and read about the benefits and possible cons before using, though.
