Just left Athens and this video was of great help and spot on!! Ended up at Anglais after summiting the Acropolis. Amazing view and very affordable! Just take the elevator and don’t do the stairs…..trust me.

@@ams7528 no we didn't. Just walked in. Be warned, the building is super sketchy. The bar is up on the top floor and roof but the rest of building seems empty and is a complete mess. Everything was great up top though!

Just got back from Athens stayed in Plaka at Home and Poetry Hotel. Roof top view was sweet and great location. Staff amazing. Breakfast was a tasty Highly recommend it.

Great video! We just returned from 2 weeks in Athens and cruise. We stayed at the Wyndham Grand in Metaxourgeio and their rooftop breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night bar is amazing with a view to the Acropolis.
We will be in Athens the night of our 32nd anniversary which is also a full moon! I want a spectacular view! Thank you.

Dont know of any place with plate breaking. Live music and some dancing at Geros Tou Moria in Plaka.
Thank you, Sebastian! Used your videos in Santorini for which I am very grateful. Hope to use these ones in Athens next time. Just put "MS ROOF GARDEN" in my TO DO list. But went to check their menu and didn't find grilled octopus. Wanted to try well cooked octopus in Athens... Any suggestions? And want to remind you that you promised us good restaurants around the market. Frankly, I will choose a great restaurant with a great food than the one with a view. Thank you for your great videos!

Buena Vista social club is a cool hang and a nice view. But the food definitely isn't great.
