A Stani shop still exists in the central square Korai in Pireas. I think that this shop is a franchise of them but no the original Stani of Pireas definitely didn’t closed at all. I am sure cause my dad and my godfather were going there with their moms and dads.

I loved your video!! I live in Athens, so I went to most of these places you went to, except for Stani, just haven’t gotten around to it. I LOVE Leyteris, in my opinion they have the best kebab! I wasn’t to crazy about Kostas, I thought there souvlaki in pita was very salty and the whole thing was a bit Greasy. I’m glad you had a nice time in Athens enjoying the great Greek food 😊👌

Also peinirli isn’t a pizza because rarely they put tomatoes or tomatoe sauce in it. They make them in various different fillings like the minced meat you showed us here but you can sometimes can find one with an egg Benedict in it. Of course it’s the closest relatively food to pizza.

FYI, Greek businesses (e.g. Banks) open at 8am, most people are at their place of work by 8:30 (rather than the British 9:30 plus) and no one bothers about big British breakfasts having too busy a life to waste time on that, which is why you won't see much of a breakfast offering in Athens. That was not just factually 100% wrong (Greece is at the opposite end of the UK in terms of waking up hours) but also deeply insulting to the Greeks: like, why would you suggest they don't wake up till noon, what do they do, have a leisurely time in bed staring at the ceiling? (Btw Greeks also have the longest working hours in the EU, in case you are tempted to go there to justify your statement)
It was a joke and said to me many times in Greece by Greeks . They have late nights dinners that are much later like 9-11 pm. Of course there up and going early lol. Or nothing would be open haha.
