Usually the oil-pan or pickup tube has bits of fragmented timing-chain guide or the plastic cross-hatch meshing from the inside of the cam cover. My pick-up tube had bits of timing guide
Damn the steps i wanted to see where cut out. I wanted to know what the torque spec was on the left cam gear but the video skipped to you torquing down the vanos caps 🤦🏻♂️
Thanks man. It won't be long until the engine, transmission, and rear end are back in the car. Hoping to fire it up in April. Yes, the S50 cams will fit the M50TU (single VANOS engine) but you will need the S50/M52/S52 cam trays and camshaft followers.
