"And obviously"
No, it's not - I wouldn't have came to this video if it was
😂
took the words out of me mouth
The first most important of all: "where is the power on/off button?"
Ellen Phillip underneath the right side
Ellen Phillip Thank You very much I had such a problem finding the power witch Its crazy it's so small and hard To find :) I Spent like 30m trying to find it.
Honestly😂😂😂
Big JOE hahaha. Experienced this
Thank you San Cat!!!!
I can’t believe I had no idea you change the individual settings for each part of the kit 💀💀💀 I needed this so bad
"Obviously."
Lol
Lol
lol
lol
lol obviously
I've had this kit for a year and have been nothing but upset with the Hi-hats because i didnt know how to change the sound. Thanks a ton, dude.
Sounding better now?
Would be really nice to know what the buttons do, rather than just where they are. I can find them myself. What do they do?
You must have a listening disorder, because he literally explains what everything does right after showing where they are.
Try watching the video
Anybody know a tutorial that explains the functions of the buttons besides just reading them off the keypad?
Thank --you I feel the same way
Do you by chance know how to use Tom 4? My kit came with 3 Tom pads am I missing one?
@@FinnDG117 it is an option to buy an extra cymbal and tom they don't come with the kit
@@plamillami that’s really dumb well thanks for letting me know
what a worthless tutorial in my opinion. the " instructor's finger is flitting around the buttons faster than the speed of light. the bloke skips over how you turn the damned module ON using the tiny push rod hidden under the stupid module. i have watched this frenzied non tutorial more times than i should have. i bought this kit and for 400 $ its worth it. however the user manual as has been pointed out by many buyers is poorly written. this video i give one star out of five. sorry bubba you should slow down you move to FAST
Thank you! Really needed this! All the reverb has been driving me crazy
thanks for sharing this tutorial, we have the same module im using surge mesh kit
hey man you gotta remove that tag before use!
Thanks for the video!! Quick question, when I save a new sound (for example an edit to my snare drum). If I unplug the drum set, will I lose the new sound I saved? Does the Alesis Nitro have an internal battery that maintains newly saved info when it's unplugged? Or will it go back to the factory default? Thanks much!
Is there a separate volume level for the whole kit?
Sticker: “Remove before use.”
This Rebel: “You don’t tell me what to do!”
Thanks ---- I am definitely getting this, i have needed one!
How do you listen to your collection of recordings before turning the drums off ?
who has the best module between Yamaha Roland and Alesis based on how complete the feature is it?
Thanks this explained a lot for me about the module i did not know.. For the price point of this kit i think it is probly the best bang for your buck. This could be used to record albums. Do you know if you can use a double kick with it?
No problem, glad it has helped! Whilst we haven't had any experience with using double kick pedals with this kit, there are some videos here on UA-cam floating about where people use one with this kit so it appears that you can.
@@GetintheMix It seems you can. Apparently the bass drum module will fit any dual set up. Suppose just gotta make it a bit more sensitive so it feels it not exactly in the center of the pad where it is loudest.
@@ZX6R_SQUID Yes, think you're on the right track there. Some tweaking of the sensitivity/threshold settings and you should be set - hope all goes well if you go that route.
Thanks, clear and straightforward!
How to fix the sound latency on alesis nitro kit? I need a solution. The sound is dalay while playing along with guitar.
Which is the Amp and cables used for this set
When we record what we play on the Alesis SURGE its saves & plays back but where do I see this file on my PC?
this is all very nice but I am a beginner and not sure about any of these details. will be great to have a step-by-step tuning of each drum.
Agree. Too quick to get an idea of how to use it.
Excellent
Can u make some more video for module
Can I add sounds to the module and have them remain downloaded in the module?
I got an question what if you don’t have the power supply that gives 500 mah and instead you have 1000 nah will it still work?
How do I get a choke on my Alesis nitro? I can't seem to find the right video to help me...
How do you turn it on?
Where can I find a proper cable for the output?
Which amp do you use?
How do you play rims on all of the pads, cuz i can only play the rims on tom 3
How do I configure my hihat using the module. Want to configure the sound and save it.
2:42 How can I change and use the configuration of a any kit without saving it? I need to change it, play and then return the kit as it was before I changed it.
hello! i have a problem with my alesis nitro drum kit. the crash cymbal choking does not function. dont know if its because of random set-up in settings or just defective. Maybe you can help me ? thank you
my choke is very sensitive to where i grab the cymbol pad, if im not centered underneath it doesnt choke
got my 7yr old son a nitro mesh, cymbal choking is when you hold the cymbal after striking it? I think my son's nitro have the same issue, were you able to fix this?
you have to have the choking cymbal on cymbal 1, not as the ride or hi hat.
@@alvint4944 you must have placed the crash cymbal with single zone. it must be replace by cymbal w/ dual zone. you can see the label beneath the cymbals.
@@iannedalangin7539 yes, I think you're right, I interchanged it with the ride, its working now :)
2:42 what happens if I don't save the changes? I need to change it, play it and then return the kit to as it was before my changes.
I have an android with usb instead of jack so i got a c cable that connects to usb of module thinking it would import sound to the kit but no luck. Any suggestions?
Richie Ron hi gerald
How do I find the notes for the songs present in the kit?
How do I change the rim sound? I’ve been trying and trying yet… nothing
my headphones are the alesis drp100 and i can only hear thru the left ear?? i sent them back thinking they were broken but the same issue occurred with the new pair. how do i fix this?
What output are you using on the module?
How to activate the rimshot in this module?
does anyone know where i can download new kits for this set?
Do you have an in depth description. That was a little fast. what was the left and right thing you mentioned?
Left is for your left hand right is for your right hand
Hi. How to dumb the 'crash' after hitting? I saw in other review but that it is poossible to do by touching with hand like a normal crash, but my continue sounding after touch. What thre f**king magic?
Does anyone know if I can create a combination of two different sounds in one? I want a snare with tambourine.
I think you would have to have 2 modules and a splitter. So when you hit your snare it plays snare on one module and tambourine on the other.
Best review I've seen so far!
Thanks for the video! I'm considering buying an Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit. Does the Drum Off button work on my own songs too? The ones coming from an MP3 device?
yes it does
@@ruckus9469 no it doesn't
Oh yes it does,,, oh no it doesn't
No it doesn't... unfortunately
when I play music through my kit the music is so loud it over powers the drums how do I fix?
Try adjusting the volume on your phone
Could you please answer, what are the red and blue wires? And what diameter do they have?
Those are to hook to an external amp. Standard 1/4" instrument cables
@@briandehart4457 thank you!
sir I have problem to adjust sensiviti tri how to edit that kindly solve
What are the exact voice numbers for each thing? My brother messed around with it and now I need to tune it back to it's regular sound.
Factory reset it
Yes, factory reset it - if you're having problems we'd recommend getting in touch with Alesis support.
How do you perform a “factory reset”?
CuzCutz I was about to ask too
Ok... factory reset is done by holding both arrow buttons (< >) down while powering up.
Anybody know how to record your track and play it back with the built in songs ?
I can listen the to recorded beat with no music track only
And the midi function at the back of the module?
how do i change the module to the beats of a song i like??
The buttons on my module stopped working after just tywo days. Yep. Hard reset did not resolve the issue...
Can this kit loop?
how do I choke the cymbals? is there a setting?
No
One cymbal trigger will say dual zone under it. Hit it then grab the cymbal by the raised dots.
Can someone tell me if you can import music to it?
You can plug your phone in to the aux jack
I appreciate you making the effort but buddy at the speed and the lack of really giving good examples has me none the wiser! Yu use the word 'obviously' a number of times but it's not for me buddy.
Obviously, how do I switch it on? 😅
Anyway to subdivide with the click?
yes, for example
if you want 1/8 notes for at 80 bpm just select 160BPM to have a click at the 1 and the "and:"
great video. Have no idea what reverb is lol
Just bought this kit and just hooked it up today and I have the worst high pitched squeal that I cannot get rid of.
Guys help! How to increase volume sound I put it on max but still low 😢
How can I do the choke effect on my crash?
I’m currently trying to solve that problem ad well. Please keep me in mind if you figure it out before I do.
Maaaaan this would have been a great video if it weren’t rushed 😐
muchas gracias
How do u turn it on
How about start with the on and off button obviously
My sound in nitro mesh kit is very low when i use headphones even the volume is max
Make sure you are not using a headphone with a microphone.
Get a headphone amplifier, it costs about 15-20 usd, so its cheap.
Go and adjust the 'pan' all the way up and it gets louder its in the same settings as volume and number
Hi there! I have a question for my drum alesis. When I save a kit and when I go to turn the drums off, when I turn them back on, the drums are reset. How do I fix this?
Not too sure on why this could be unfortunately, your best bet would be to get in touch with Alesis support and they should be able to assist you.
Alright thanks for the help
You have to save on user kit...25 or higher I think.
You're the man
Thanks 🙏🏾👍
Thanks!
The on/off button is under thes module XD... My dumbass looked for it for half an hour lol
Lol , I did the same thing I'm a guitar player bought this to have around for when drummers come over
I'm like dam I'm taking this thing back and dragging the acoustic set back out.
Same here I was going crazy trying to find how to get it turn back on... due to thinking I broke it turns out theirs on and off under it... also can anyone help me how do I get sound from the machine kit without a amp? Or do I need to plug it in my amp in order to get sound... :/ the booklet doesn’t give you a clear understanding how it works
@@ghostcat8244
You have to have an amp / powered monitor , I use mine through a home stereo system that has a 1/4"
Input.
@@keithclark486 ohhh no wonder it saids I need a amp or home stereo. I have it hook up to a amp luckily I still have it.
I cannot get mine to play loud through headphones. I’ve tried two different pair of headphones and even with the volume knob at max level, the sound of me hitting the pads is almost louder than what is coming through my headphones. Anyone help?
Try changing the sensitivity and volume of the pads. You'll have to save the new settings into one of the user kits, numbers 25 and above. I felt what you describe with the snare of kit1 and this did the trick for me
abcddcba09 Thanks for the advice. You’re more reliable than Alesis. I contacted customer support and haven’t heard a word from them, so thanks much! 👊
@@gregc3253 haha thanks man! Glad to be able to help!
i have the exact same problem
@@abcddcba09 please forgive me for asking but I am a newbie--are you able to tell me how to change the sensitivity and volume of the pads
Thank you
Tim
My tom 1 2 and 3 sounds weird, i wish i could edit each sound separately 😊
Can you connect Bluetooth headphones to these?
Czaj nope
Luciifero not even with a Bluetooth transmitter??
Czaj yes you can
Frederic Larose I thought so.
well i meant natively. natively the module doesn't come with bluetooth functionality, i wasnt considering every possible dongle that could sort it for you :)
I can only get mine on headphones but not out loud how
Have you connected speakers to the output jacks at the rear of the module?
I can barely hear my kick drum. Please help
Realy bad demonstrations
What does a hi-hat control button do
There is no speaker for this thing!?
No, it doesn’t come with a speaker but if you have a speaker or buy one you can plug it up to the kit and it’ll play it out loud.
Wait... so I need a amp to play my kit??? I just got it yesterday and I couldn’t finger out how in the world do I get sound.. I hook everything up right n no sound coming out of the machine kit... til I plug it in to my amp and it works... but how do I do it without it? Or it doesn’t work like that since the booklet doesn’t give you a full information
I have the same question
I use mine with headphones, unfortunately you have to use headphones or an amp with this kit.
@@edmundomartinez1328 like with every other electronic drum kit...
And how does one bring up the beats so one could learn the best and try it? Rather than read and pointy out the obvious, why hasn’t anyone explained how to utilize the learn features of the set?
Yeah. That was pretty much a video of fingers fumbling around
Do these just plug into the wall to power up ???? Soneone answer
Yes.
My kit sounds like the sound is muffled how do I fix this ?
Have you tryed messing with the pitch or reverb? Even the sensitivity?
It happened to me too I just adjusted my headphones and it worked
obviously
High hat suxx... How can I save different voices for open and closed high hat..
mine isnt making any sound at all
There’s no sound on mine
YA MIDI CHANNEL 3:30

You need to buy a midi cable and use it with the USB cable
@@sundownbelow thnks for ur rp..it was due to my version of ableton live,i updated and everything was ok.
OVERDUE MEDIA alright that’s great to hear man that was just the issue for me at first but yeah good to hear everything’s working
Is there a headphone jack
yes mate on the side for normal headphones and on the back for recording headphones
@@ryanmacdonald6181 wow I was looking for that💀
What a horrendus demo, save is to save, edit is for editing....obviously!
Fully , what about the plugs can you use it with older kits ?
Ok
I hear cracking noise on my headphone. It's like hissing sound of cassette tape.
I have this same kit, and the same thing is happening. I'm pretty new to this, so I'm not sure what to do.
