THANKS!!! AFTER 3 MONTHS WITH THIS VIDEO I FINALLY FIX THAT FUCKING DOUBLE HIT PROBLEM ON THE KICKPAD. THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Minute??? Pllss minute plss he hienhoe hoe hoe hoe how how how how howowowiiwiwooooooow!!!
Would love to see a similar video for the Nitro Max module.
I've been using this kit for 5 years and until now I didn't know some of these features 😂
Thank you!
thanks for this.
Would that also adjust its sensitivity as a midi instrument? Thank you :)
Can you please also suggest the appropriate values other than the factory settings. I have the kit for 3 years now and my only issue is I am not able to understand what values will be appropriate. It would be a big help.
I bought these drum splitter , I’m having a hard time getting the sounds to change with my others pads
When I go to save the settings, it comes of as “sav PAD” and I’m not sure if it’s actually saving or not
Any idea?
How to put custom music in????
Thanks for the video
@ 5:38 do you suggest using the kick drum beater the wrong way round?
Hi there, the beater in this shot is facing the right way-the felt side of the beater creates more friction with mesh heads and can wear them down more quickly, so the plastic side should be facing the drum head. Cf. this section of our assembly/setup tips video for the Surge & Nitro kits: ua-cam.com/video/GxSXMuEy7oc/v-deo.html
So one can’t adjust the sensitivity of the bass drum pad at all? When I hit it as hard as I can it barely registers. And it’s inconsistent with its volume and sensitivity in general
Hit the utility button, hit the bass drum pad, or hit the button for the bass drum on the module, and then use the left/right arrows to increase or decrease the sensitivity. That worked for me on the surge model.
@@kylewadley5031 I’m talking an nitro
@@fishydinner44same module
@@kylewadley5031 I did this with my newly bought surge. But I can't to register the sound sometimes. What I do is stomp my foot a bit harder to hear a sound. Is that wrong is that how you really have to stomp on the bass pad? I'm a beginner btw
So when I use the kick drum it sometimes doesn’t register. I could keep the force of my foot the same and the sound goes in and out. Is this a me thing or something I can adjust on the drum kit. I’m also trying to produce a more sensitive kick bc I don’t want to slam my foot down to produce a sound, especially when I’m learning. Please someone help!
You’ll have to make sure you are striking right in the middle of the kick pad because that’s where the sensor is. Might try adjusting the beater
I just bought a Surge mesh today and I noticed this too. Have you found a way to fix this? What I do right now is just slam my foot a bit harder just to register the sound.
@@artofersukesome ppl say that you need to hit the lower part of the kick drum, because here is where the trigger is located.
@@wizzarn Yep! This did it for me. I adjusted the beater to be about 1/3 in from the bottom (so, slightly off from dead center on the kick pad) and now i don’t have to slam my foot down. Because yeah, I was thinking, this is definitely NOT going to be as much fun as ppl say if I have to work out my right leg to this degree
Why is mine have low sound both on amp and headphones please help😢
Just adjust the sensitivity to max
Anyone else having trouble with snare rim sensitivity? You reqlly have to hit it hard in order for it to register
I'm having problems for over a year now trying to get these to work with superior drummer 3 to the point where they sit idle and i just input drums with my keyboard. Not happy.
@@sixtyticketrecorder7276user error because you just need to usb your module to pc. Add the kit in edrum settings of surperior drummer. Select the audio device and boom it works.
@@jimbo121 that's the thing- did that but there is no kit that "matches" really well so i end up having to program each drum and that is a major PITA. So yea,i guess user error but I'm a musician, not a programmer, i would expect a little more off a plug and play situation but i guess you get what you pay for. I'll have to save for Rolands.
@@jimbo121 dayum! Thank you Jimbo121! I had given up on these things. I updated toontrack, used usb instead of the midi output and you were right- boom it worked. AND virtually zero latency. Thank you!
@@sixtyticketrecorder7276 glad you got it working my friend.
Lol someone please tell me if you can just use the module as a drum machine to program??......mit oust the pads...just tapping in patterns on the lil buttons....it looks like it is but....🤷
yes you can
