Im dealing with the same thing as you now. Its reassuring to see that I also had the same issues and going through the mental problems that come with it as well. Watched most of your videos and its been keeping me in a calm state knowing that I will get better in time. Can't wait to see the next video that shows up soon. Thanks

Good to hear you are in a better place and sorry to hear about your mum.
LPR is manageable but it will come back now and then and the best thing is not to stress out about it. The first time I had LPR, the symptoms were very extreme but now a relapse is mild and short lived and only usually follows a cold. The anxiety plays a big part because I really do think it can be psychosomatic to a large degree.

Hi Stuart , so pleased your feeling better, Im also doing a lot better I realised mine was all anxiety and I'd become obsessed with the symptoms which made it worse, I had to take a break from all the groups and videos, I hardly get symptoms now and it completely went when I was on holiday, it's amazing what stress can do. Thanks for the update wishing you all the best 😊

    Hi Stuart,
Nice to see you back, your 24hr PH study and Manometry test video really helped my with my procedure, I was diagnosed with a sliding hiatus hernia, still waiting for a follow up appointment, I like yourself suffer from health anxiety have done for all of my life, sleep issues, agoraphobia, chronic health worries, especially heart related, I’m on beta blockers for my heart palpitations and skipped beats, they also help me relax more and not feel so anxious, they take away the physiological symptoms of anxiety but not the psychological, which I’m trying to deal with.
Have you herd of IQoro? It’s expensive for what it is, I’m using this at the moment for my Hiatus Hernia can also be used to help with Gerd, I’m two months into the program early days for me yet but they do say it takes up to 6 months to start getting positive results. Sorry to hear about your mum, my Dad passed away when he was on,y 59,😢
    Keep strong my friend.

ive had issues for 4 year. just one day got massive bloating under my boobs. I suffered from feelings of bugs up my nose and touching my face and stabbing pains in my eyes and massive gas burping and farting like the gas pushes up into my lungs and i weeze at night and need to burp 10 times to get some relief over past 7 months my mouth is burning and my tougue is dark with bacteria. I can brush 10 times a day and mouth sore. Ive seen 10 medical proffessionals and told all my issues are cause i smoke. Ive smoked for 40 years and never had any issues. I as well did my research on my issues and asked for a poop analysis and tested positive for H Pylori. Ive had two rounds of the meds and just tested positive again this week and have now got more meds and on list to see another specialist at internal medicine. Sometimes depending what i eat i just get total fatigue and need to lay down and wake up with massive drymouth. Its hard to describe this crap cause im tired of even talking about it.

I’m sitting really bad with what could be reflux. I’ve had problems swallowing food for a year! At the min I’m on liquid foods. I get extremely painful heart burn feels like a heart attack. I’ve had camera up my nose to check back of the throat, nothing! Barium swallow saw nothing. It’s weird but it’s completely destroying my life. It’s on my mind soon as I wake up to when I go to bed. It’s effecting my mental health because I just can’t stop thinking about it
Can I ask if you’ve had Covid ? Mine came few months after I got covid but I’m not sure I’m just wondering if that’s caused it
I’m scared every day feeling like it’s something bad. I have two kids and it’s really messing my life up I even had a breakdown over this feeling in my throat
I’m sorry to hear you lost your mum. 😢

Please seek out a Functional Medicine Doctor. I finally did and they have a totally different point of view of why we have digestive issues. PPI and stress can cause LOW stomach acid thus allowing our H-pylorie to take over. My GP also didn’t seem to understand my illness. FMdoctors look for the why you are sick not just treat the symptoms. I would love to talk to you is you reach out to me. I am a 78 year old woman and still have hope to learn how to make my health better. I was very sick as well and had to do something different. I hope you will too.

    • @gailmacdonald8063
      @gailmacdonald8063 3 місяці тому

@@stuartbardin3164 I’m so happy you have found a practitioner that will look for the cause as well as be able to treat you for same. I was put on lots of quality supplements based on my blood work and an h-pylorie treatment for six week that did not include antibiotics. You doctor will have his plan and mine also did not try to raise my stomach acid until the h-pylorie was assumed gone. It is an overgrowth, damaging the lining of the stomach (causing Leaky Gut). That was phase one, phase two is working with adding enzymes and HCL acid to encourage more acid to be able to digest proteins and keep at bay the bad bacteria we all have in our but. It is quite the balancing act to keep our digestive system on track. I had no idea that trauma (stress and anxiety) betray the digestive system with the fight or flight response that does not allow us to digest well, we need to be in the rest and digest (relaxed and wellness) mode. It took me a lot of research, studying and learning how my body works. I HAD NO IDEA EATING THE RIGHT FOODS AT THE RIGHT TIME, IN ORDER OF, MAKES FOR GOOD HEALTH HABITS. I is a journey. I am working with a PA-certified then trained in Functional Medicine, her nutritionist, a visceral manipulation specialist and a EMDR therapist. They in conjunction with each other are putting me back together. I was really ill in January. Hoped to be 100% by now, mid May 2024 but it is a process. Unfortunately an expensive one, not available to all, medicare is not on board with this. It is so surprising to me that they are paying for treating symptoms but not looking for and curing the cause of this type of medical issue. They are still supporting the doctors who are still prescribing PPI’s, one of the leading causes for low stomach. Crazy. Please go and do more research on FM doctors, low stomach acid as the culprit to lot of our medical issues from skin to ulcers to cancer. Thanks for listening. Good luck to us all.

Ever had issues with regurgitating food? I get bouts of not being able to swallow. Can last minutes to days. Cant even get my own spit down or water. It just sits in my esophagus and i bring it back up... never any stomach contents. When it clears i feel it, like a plug being pulled out the bath. Then i swallow fine.
Anyone else out there have this? Got the 24hr tube test coming but i cant tolerate a camera up my nose and down my throat without gagging and needing it removing so this WILL be a failure.
Been happening on and off for over 10 years. Cant work, stressful going out and eating in case it starts and i need to get home.. csnt drive when im heaving all the time.
    Its a nightmare.
