Hello Rene, The stitches should be even either side of the markers - as you are evenly increasing each time you have to increase. I hope that makes sense! :)
I've been working on this pattern. Every few rows, there is a mistake and I have to undo my work. I put yarn overs in the wrong spots. I believe my place markers are moving. Do you have advance to know where to place a yarn over? I'm trying to be able to look at the piece without the markers and know which stitch means it is time to yo. I'm beginner hence some of my issues.
Hello Emily, I'm not sure why your markers should be moving - you will be moving them over when you come to the yarn overs but they should stay in the same place. I have made an error before where I have yarn over'd on the wrong side - which leads to errors in the spine. So you must always make sure you are doing the yarn overs on the right side of the work. perhaps put a safety pin or closed stitch marker on the right side so you know which side is which. I hope that helps! Louise
What is that dropped stitch near the end of row 10. ???
It was one of the yarn overs but had remained on the needle from the previous row when it shouldn't have.
When knitting this shawl, should the stitches on either side of the middle marker be even or side side having more?

Where’s an image of the shawl in this video? Please don’t say, refer to the thumbnail. It’s small and we need a close up shot

Hello Chrissy, I'm so sorry about that, I am looking to revisit some of the videos without a voiceover in the near future.
