Greatbow Doyen into Brigid of Kinsbaile... Disgusting. Not to mention all of the "Tap to deal damage to creature with flying/attacking or blocking creature" that a lot of Archers have. Doyen becomes a massive way to push through damage. Plus, with Gaddock Teeg, you can stop Wrath effects, and keep people in check.
I had to favorite this video for the Gargoyles. That was one of the best animated series from the 90s. Makes me wonder if there's a Legendary Gargoyle yet or not.. (Aside from Mistform Ultimus of course)

+Star City Games I have an idea... If you could take the time to listen, that'd be a pinnacle of achievement for me. What you guys should do, is make a sub series of commander or or regular versus... You guys should do a tournament of the Ravnica Guilds and post it on UA-cam! 10 people each play with one of the ten guilds in a tournament of the ages with guild themed decks to see which guild is the most powerful of all of Ravnica. I know that, running a Gruul deck, and my friends running Orzhov, Boros, and Rakdos, I always find it interesting to see which guild is superior. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hopw you take my idea into consideration when planning future duels. Love the channel and this series actually made me interested in playing commander. If it wasn't so expensive!
+Star City Games Just wanted to point out, many moths late,that Kruphix doesn't keep the mana coloured. It takes the floating mana and converts it to colorless
@ around 52:00, Wouldn't the layer system make all relentless rats 1/1 since their power and toughness are CDA? I Believe that would mean that through the layers the rats power would be turned X/X and then 1/1 meaning disciple of bolas would only net 1 card and life.
heavencharge987 Nope! Godhead's ability makes everything else have base power and toughness 1/1. The abilities of the relentless rats are still active, and completely unaffected by the Godhead's ability. If it was instead the "Pack Rat" ability, then they would all be 1/1 without boosts, but because Relentless Rats get +1/+1, they still get bigger.
Really glad you guys didn't try and go for another card-type limitation. Anything else besides creatures I feel would be pretty samey after a while(Cyclonic rift?) The only thing I do kinda wanna see is one of the decks to be mostly Planeswalkers. It's always been out of budget for me, and as I've seen it can be done relatively fairly WITHOUT Khans Narset. Either way, keep up the good work gentlemen
Two things: maelstrom wanderer is stopped by teferi, and justin could have won EASILY. So many misplays (not using strip mine on mouth of ronom before jonathan suarez untaps, bouncing the wrong creature with hoverguard sweepers, etc.).
GU is probably the most overpowered combo of cards in EDH right now. Prophet and Momir just push it too hard. I can't believe Prophet wasn't banned in the last list.
Actually if kruphix was off the board he wouldnt have any mana floating and his land that produced so much mana was already destroyed therefore he couldnt cast it.
Nick Smans It's only good if it lives, there are some other pretty sick cards that are also legal like: Necropotence, Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Mishras Workshop, Mana Drain, Sylvan Library.... If you can't deal with threats, that is your fault, and nobody else's. Tunneling the guy with Prophet is what everybody should.
Sam Juarascio You have yet to grasp the idea of competitive edh. Having 2 mana for nothing or drawing 10 for BBB is what the game is all about. Ok, im not saying Prophet is not good, but think about it, you can play Land+Dark Ritual+Necro, Drawing 10, discarding to size and then winning on t2 with a backup counterspell. Prophet is a "build around me card", it works poorly if you have no cards in hand, and even then, it often trades with a removal spell on the turn it hits the field. In a format where T2 Entomb+Reanimate is business as usual, Prophet is not that broken. Its only golden if rest of the deck is meh, and it's not realy that hard to fill your deck of 99 with cards just as good as prophet.
B1gLupu Prophet of kruphix is 4 time walks every turn of the game. I'll take that over Necro any day. You have to build around those other cards too. The simple fact that you'd play card like dark ritual in your deck is a testament of that. And no, I play with some people who think nothing of dropping several grand on an edh deck to make it ultra competitive. I find the decks like that though are super soft to disruption, because they're playing a ton of cards that don't inherently effect the board in any way. They built around their combo and they goldfish until it goes off. They can usually fight through 1 person with disruption. but multiplayer it's just too hard to go off against everyone. The "fairer" decks almost always win against those guys, because at that point it's 3 on 1. Getting to untap your mana every turn of the game is just ridiculous and unfair. You get to interact with everyone's disruption, instead of just one person's like normal. If you do build around prophet, (which isn't hard, it's just counterspells, draw spells, creatures, and clones, which is what most people are playing anyway), it's easily as busted as any of the cards you mentioned if not moreso, but it's much more difficult to interact with.

Oswald-Jr Moreno Teferi should stop Maelstrom because Cascade says that "When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom in a random order." In this case the stack isn't empty and therefore you would not be able to cast sorceries. AND as Teferi says that your opponents can only cast spells at a time they could cast a sorcery Maelstrom Wanderer (and cascade at all) is stopped (same should be true für Suspend because your casting the spell in response to the last Counter being removed)
The reason Suspend is nullified by Teferi is not because there is anything on the stack. The stack is actually empty when the cast trigger happens. Rather, its because Suspend happens in the Upkeep. Sorceries, of course, can only be cast in the Main phase.
For your next 4 player game you should all do a five color general(eg. Sliver overlord, horde of notions, child of alara, cromat, scion of the ur-dragon, progenitus, atogatog, reaper king, and/or karona, false god) may the best five color general win

All John did was flash in Clique, which gave him 12 flying power on the board which had Stephen concede. If it followed through John would have targeted himself with Clique's effect, and either choose no cards from his hand or pick one he didn't need to draw a new card. But it looked like he just wanted the 3 power flier.

Assuming this is Wes asking why the rat deck didn't attack another person? Yea bro, the answer is simple. You are locking down his deck. Rats are a very linear strategy so if you are going to lock him down, he has to kill you. If he dies in the process its whatever. You were making him unable to play the game and also saving the enemies cards making it unlikely for him to win until YOU WERE DEAD. He made the best choice. He also gave you a ultimatum: Choose someone else creatures and i might not attack you. In EDH politics he was basically saying: I will kill you last if you stop targeting my commander. If i was him as soon as you took my commander i would told you straight up i'm killing you first at all cause and made a deal with the other players to stay out of it. lol

Connor Murphy Commander (originally known as EDH) is a special constructed format where you build your deck around a specific legendary creature, known as your commander or general. This card starts out in your "command zone," from which you can play it as if it was in your hand. If it would die, be exiled, be shuffled into your deck, etc. you can instead put it back into the command zone. Every time after the first time you cast your commander from the command zone, you have to pay 2 colorless mana more for each time it has been cast from the command zone in that game. The rest of your deck must consist of 99 unique (excepting basic lands) cards that only have colored mana symbols on them that also appear on the commander.
Wes cheated.. Callous Opressor should've come in tapped, so you couldn't have attempted to steal Marrow-Gnawer, causing him to sack it for more rats. Little mistakes like that change the game SO much

at 1.05.45 Stephen mis-counted R.Rats p/t, with 6 in play, they will all be 7/7, not 8/8, so Wes, and Justine should not have died.

He used Voidweilder to bounce Deadwood Treefolk which regrows a creature when it enters or leaves play.

Connor Murphy Commander (originally known as EDH) is a special constructed format where you build your deck around a specific legendary creature, known as your commander or general. This card starts out in your "command zone," from which you can play it as if it was in your hand. If it would die, be exiled, be shuffled into your deck, etc. you can instead put it back into the command zone. Every time after the first time you cast your commander from the command zone, you have to pay 2 colorless mana more for each time it has been cast from the command zone in that game. The rest of your deck must consist of 99 unique (excepting basic lands) cards that only have colored mana symbols on them that also appear on the commander.

Wes cheated.. Callous Opressor should've come in tapped, so you couldn't have attempted to steal Marrow-Gnawer, causing him to sack it for more rats. Little mistakes like that change the game SO much
