Thank you so much, Dr. Greger, for your generous service to humans and animals everywhere. Thanks to you and other conscientious experts in the field, I've already transitioned this year from a pescatarian to a vegan diet and am thoughtfully increasing my intake of beans. 3 of my dad's 8 siblings had Parkinson's, one had MS, and the rest of the siblings had cancer, including my dad. I have MS myself & worry about my other genetic risks, so I will now be seeking out fresh and sprouted fava beans in particular!
That is very interesting. When I was a child I would go to work with my mom sometimes. She is a nurse and took care of a former Doctor with advanced Parkinsons. I always remember thinking that something was missing in his diet, but I had no idea what caused Parkinsons in the first place.
@@G-rig6969very few would switch to vegan. Everyone will never be cured of something. Most won't make changes required. That's why so many die of lifestyle diseases.
@G-rig01 True... If that was the solution and easy, everyone would be cured... So, I imagine that if it can be helped with diet, it's probably adding something & never eating another item or items again... And it's probably expensive & a lengthy process... But this is just me guessing.
Its such a joyfull Channel always working for the best of everybody Involved - and always spreading Scientific Based research info about food and other natural possibilities that can prevent or treat - so filled with hope and knowledge 🙏
Lets give it a label, hedonistic eating. My friend and I were talking about ice chewing being a symptom of anemia. God knows there's probably something in the modern diet.
Dr Greger I am a great follower of your videos and am very interested to know your comments on the case of John Pepper. He has reversed his parkinsons symptons by (a) HiT walking and (b) applying 'his continuous minds focus' to the otherwise autonomous body movements affected by his condition, eg- his right hand.
Great video, doctor! My father has Parkinson's, and we've seen significant improvements since he started taking Planet Ayurveda's supplements. These herbs have truly made a difference. I encourage others to give them a try. 🌱
Billy: "Then the last question: You once said that there were natural foods that could prevent or simply slow down Parkinson's disease in a highly concentrated form. You mentioned vegetables that contain natural nicotine, which, when eaten, has an alleviating or preventing effect on Parkinson's disease." Ptaah: "65. That is correct. 66. Pure vegetables, such as tomatoes, peppers, aubergines and cauliflower, etc., which contain natural nicotine are effective against Parkinson's if eaten frequently. 67. A very effective extract can also be made from these vegetables, which can produce very beneficial effects. contact report 578

I'm curious if fava beans would help with ADHD since that's a lack of dopamine issue
Does fava beans have the same affect on the non-shaking but the stiff type of Parkinson’s?

I do not think it is Dairy products,.... it probably is the amount of poison in it (pesticides) which is the cause.
