Note on confidence from a former teacher: it's totally a thing. In education, there's this concept known as the 'growth mindset' which was first coined by Dr. Carol Dweck (the opposite being 'fixed mindset'). If you go into math thinking that you won't do well because you're bad at math and there isn't anything you can do, you won't do well in your math class. But if you change your mentality to something like, 'This is hard, but I know I'll figure it out', at some point you will. My boyfriend is currently in his last year of Anesthesia residency and this video really helped me understand his world a little bit better. I work in the corporate world and it’s vastly different from his career path, so appreciate the breakdown - helps me be more empathetic towards everything he’s going through/ has gone through :)
This is the reason why you both are so successful. I can see your hard work and dedication throughout all the videos you posted daily. You guys are absolutely amazing. God bless you!! I am so happy I found you guys 🥰. I have learn so much from you both. The fact you share your knowledge with all of us is absolutely amazing.
This video came at the PERFECT time! I'm about to start my first year of medical school in a week, and you've both been such inspirations to me as someone who had always felt that dermatology was out of my reach. A lot of what you said really resonated with me, as I also struggled a lot in high school and spent much of my first year in college learning to learn, which definitely made me a stronger student in the long run. It was really eye-opening to hear about all the hard work that you both put into your careers, and I'd love to hear more about the research you did in med school! Thank you again for sharing all your knowledge & experiences!
I love how down to earth you guys are and this advices really motivate me. I definitely don’t have skin I’m confident of on my face and every time I go to the doctor I feel like I’m being judged and that’s why in the future I want to make people feel comfortable and well treated about their skin and that there’s nothing to be ashamed of.
Great video! I'm 44 so won't be starting med school but still love hearing about your journey! I think you both are great. Your patients and the medical community are lucky to have you. Thanks for sharing. 💜
*This is sooo inspirational* !!! My biggest dream is to become a Clinical Psychologist, which is far from anything medical school related since my aim was never Psychiatry. I have SO MUCH respect for all the very, very hard work you BOTH have put into your dreams and into in turn - becoming Dermatologists. I wish I could say I was the best student but I'm struggling with motivation and it's just so hard. I know I could do so much better but my heart is not really there. My field is highly competitve and geting into grad school for Clinical Pyschology is the hardest thing tbh in the Psychology field, apart from of course wanting to become an MD (Psychiatrist). It's so inspirational hearing about others stories of their lives and how you 2 seemed to have turned things around academically from when you both were younger. Bless you both !
Oh wow, our dreams are kinda the same. Mine is to either become a clinical psychologist or neuropsychiatrist. I'm really confused as their paths are completely different. But hey, all the best and don't give up. I'm sure you're going to make it
I'm a 33 year old engineer watching this and my husband has a worried look on his face, probably thinks I'm going to tell him I'm starting med school 🤣
You guys are so amazing💙💙And I appreciate you both for sharing your journeys. I actually recently switched my major from human/social service to Esthetican because of my own medical challenges with Lupus & Ovarian Cancer. I know what the journey towards healing was for me. It was a 12 year battle and I’m so thankful to be here and have the opportunity to help someone else whom may be dealing with the same situations as I. Thank you both for this empowerment🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽♥️🕊
I have been practicing medicine for almost 20 years and this video brought back so many fun memories! I also can relate to the stories. I remember one of my attendings saying that I joked too much with patients. But, that is just how I am. For weeks after, I wasn't myself until one of my patients told me to smile more and that I was too serious.....that put me back in my place ;)
Im so glad I watched this!! Im currently studying a non science major even tho I’ve always wanted to be a doctor. I just lacked the self confidence to pursue that journey. But I can’t let go of that dream and I want to be a dermatologist so bad! My next plan is to do a post bacc program and I hope it’ll work out! Thank you for this motivating video!!
I’ve been interested in becoming a dermatologist since 7th grade. I’m a junior in high school right now, and I’m starting to get soooo nervous. Thank you for some guidance! I love you guys
I have no desire to go into the medical field, but I still watched the whole thing 🤦🏻♀️ 🤣 I have so much respect for those who pursues a doctorate in any field though. I used to work at a university for an MSOT program and seeing the professors work full time while also getting their doctorate amazed me. So glad I get to call those amazing people my friends. I have learned so much from watching them on their journey.
I’m a new esthetician and thanks to you guys I have learned so much more about skin care than I did in school, I really appreciate it, thank you guys!!!! You guys are the best of the best!!!!
I'm almost 47 years old, have never wanted to be a physician in my life--let alone a derm--and had no logical reason for watching this vid other than pure curiosity (and pure affection for the docs :) Verdict: The experience paid dividends. :) What an enlightening tale! Thank you for giving me a peek into your journeys, Drs., and thank you for doing such good work for your patients, for your viewers and for the world. You're building a better future as you help people like me build better skin! Hearts, hearts, hearts...
As a 14 year old literally going to freshmen year in like a week who is very interested in dermatology, I really hope that this helps me become a successful dermatologist! I actually already started studying the basics of defining skin lesions, and oh my it’s so interesting to learn about different skin problems! Thank you all so much for making content that provides a good amount of information and motivation!
Vids like this are so impactful to aspiring medicine students. I’m a non trad doing undergrad rn hoping to find my path to dermatology. Coming from the blue collar workforce flying from helicopters and dangling from power lines working 100+ hours a week sometimes has definitely built my confidence and work ethic. I’m in my early 30’s tho doing a huge life change by going into medicine lol but age is just a number right 😅. Keep up with the content!
Great overall advice. I think back to HS and I was an athlete. I loved classes and learning, but had test anxiety and was busy with my sport. The career councilor at our school was super negative to me, to the point where I got my mother involved. He was so down on what my opportunities were and even told my mom that statistically I didn’t have a chance in college. I ended up getting several offers from well known schools because of my athletic ability and I worked my tush off to pass the standardized test for entry. I then worked hard, met with professors, tutors and even took a class on how to be a better student. I thrived in college, I took more than four years, I struggled with some of my classes. But I enjoyed learning and knew I just needed to work harder than others. When I graduated, I mailed him a copy of my degrees. I said that he didn’t help motivate me, he made me feel like a loser and that I hope he never did it to another student again. My family and friends were so supportive of me, I’ve wondered how many others that ‘career counselor’ knocked down for no reason. Thank you for sharing your stories.
thank u for this. i’m 13 and have struggled w some skin issues since i was 10 and have educated myself since, and rlly grew an interest in dermatology. i’m only in 8th grade but is definitely a dream i’m willing to work towards!!
I don't wanna be a dermatologist or go for any medical field BUT your message applies for ANY career. Thank you for the pointers and words of knowledge, I have been doing some of what you guys have said and now I have more good pointers to apply. My mom is always telling me "Never Burn Bridges BUT always keep at least an open window with everyone!"
I have forced myself into being an outgoing introvert. I need time to recuperate after being outgoing, but I can get through it. I have to laugh that I ended up in a job that requires me to speak to the public…. Oddly, others tell me I come off as genuine and trusting… I always have to laugh, because I live that nightmare :)
@@SynchroSk8 same, I've had jobs where it was to meet new ppl everyday. But I got through it. It's our brain that acts and wants us to be safe and comfortable. U just have to ignore it. We are way capable of things than we think. I mean the things I've done at work during stress n crisis.. Yikes. When in the moment I just go to a different brain mode of "JUST DO IT". Just recently I forced myself to go on a workshop.. I was a bit anxious. But it ended up great and I met really nice talented ppl. I even became super talkative.. Which is something I've noticed.. I start small talking when I get nervous or want to avoid awkward silence lol also positive law of attraction hypnosis has helped! I have fallen asleep and I wake up less anxious/depressed.
@@uniquelycourtney8146 same it takes a lot to even step out of the house.. But when I'm out I don't have hard time socializing.. Almost like I don't recognize myself lol I read a quote that is true n frightening "Your comfort will be doom of your future. Growth and change don't come with being comfortable"
Every single video of yours is an absolute gem❤️🔥 Thanks for the top tier content, you two sure enjoy your craft and yourselves as well, which I’m totally here for. The chemistry you share gives me so much life you’ve no idea! And mister Shah, those shorts are a life saver. Appreciate it. Love you both so much!
Two months late into this video, but I’m so happy I came across it. I never applied myself so much at school, I would get good grades but I never truly set time to study. I’ve had a love for dermatology and it only started snowballing now. I took a year off of college but I’m back now, and in person, and so excited to start my journey. 23 years young and ready for what lies ahead of me. Thanks for the inspiration! It’s so nice hearing your stories, it shows that anything is possible as long as you believe and dedicate yourself! Much love and appreciation!
This was super fascinating. My son in law is in his second year of med school and I've learned so much from he and my daughter going through this whole process, but hearing you guys explain it all, helps me understand even more what they are currently living through and what they have to look forward to and how important family support is. Thanks for sharing! And I worked for a MOHS doc for years and it's funny to hear you all talk about the fellowship piece of it, because he would talk about the "pop up MOHS docs" that weren't formally fellowship trained. He'd get pretty salty about it. LOL
I love that I found your videos! I just found them and have done almost nothing but watch and research /investigate what I see. As much as I enjoy learning about skin care (finally making it a priority at age 50), I just enjoy y’all. Thanks for this video, it was so encouraging and heartwarming . It may or may it have made my eyes leak a little at a few points.
I have shared this video with friends that are high school teachers and counselors. Fantastic advice for students. Thank you for sharing. Love your videos.
I'm a doctor as well!! literally continent far away, watching ur videos while thinking how hard is getting into dermatology and afraid of applying for it because I might not getting the spot, BUT YOU GUYS reminded me everything is possible !! Wish me luck❤
Currently majoring in computer science and engineering and I feel so miserable, I don’t want my life to be like this…I’ve always been super passionate about skincare and I know dermatology is a lot more than that, but I want to help people heal and cure their skin conditions. This is such a huge change to be considering so thank you for this video
I’m currently studying to be an aesthetic practitioner and I’m not academic at all and finding that hard work, but watching you guys makes me think that maybe I could be a dermatologist!
Thank you for this. I am a medical student right now. I failed my first year. COVID was rough on me: going through school on Zoom, family problem, and lots of mistakes. I am repeating it again in person. My goal is to be a dermatologist. I know it will be close to impossible. However, I hope I can make it and be as great as y’all.
Best of luck to you! You can see it through and achieve something special! Dr. Shah and I tutored medical students during medical school and residency. We've seen people push through it and come out the other side loving life and their career path!
You can do it. My son's friends are repeaters and they had similar circumstances. No shame in repeating. Repeating is a dirty word nobody talks about but it's really about secind chances. My son said there are repeatets for every year and you cannot predict who will be a repeater.
I wished growing up I had resources like this to spark interests like careers. Very inspiring stories . I’m obsessed with skin and would love to inspire other kids of color and also lack the sources like myself.
I am about to start grad school for speech pathology. I’m watching this to inspire me. It’s not that bad 6 years all together plus 1 year to get your CCCS.
I’m working on my secondaries for med school now so this is coming at a perfect time! Right now endocrinology is my dream but I’m excited to learn everything!
SOOOOOOO THANKFUL & I FEEL BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND YOUR CHANNEL!! YOU BOTH HAVE SUCH GREAT PERSONALITIES & PROVIDE SUCH WONDERFUL INFORMATION!! THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO!! ~Mandy💖
I have watched and subscribed to your channel and have learned a lot about taking care of my skin. I would like to see more talk about menopause skin. But in regards to this video, I say hats off to both of you for being an inspirational and making your vocation so tangible to a young person that would be intimidated. So thank you. Makes you both more genuine.💋👏👏👏
Hi Dr. Maxfield and Dr. Shah! I love your UA-cam shorts, and just subscribed! I am hoping to learn how to balance treating adult acne and anti aging concerns. Acne products can be fairly drying, and I am starting to see some fine lines and wrinkles forming in my 20s. Other areas I am interested in learning about are fading and preventing scarring, cellulite, varicose veins, cherry angiomas, makeup that is skin friendly, and hair growth on bald spots (if possible - I have had one on my hairline since I was a kid for unknown reasons). Can't wait to watch more content on this channel!
I hope you both are aware of what a positive force you are and how helpful you are. Not just in terms of skincare advise but in general. I recently found your channel and now follow you both on every platform I can find lol. But please keep being you and making quality content!! You guys rock!!
Best advice I ever got from a boss is, "Be nice to the people sitting around you. You never know when one of the people you think is an idiot and a complete waste of your time will become your report." (Boss.) And she was right, not that I always paid attention to it, to my detriment. So yeah, make those connections.
I’m an x-ray tech and then got my CT certification right after and it was the hardest 3 years of my life. My instructors made us have everything perfect so it was high level anxiety to have every image we took text book perfect. Unfortunately most patients in the hospital aren’t “text-book perfect” physics was the absolute worse for me during a short summer semester 😭
I agree that relationships are very important to get to med school and afterwards. But the gpa is still super important. It was actually easier when you guys went to med school when over 60% MS1 were straight from undergrad. It's now about 20%. The top 50 schools want 1 or 2 gap years with 2 now becoming the standard. In 2021, you needed 200 volunteer hours plus shadowing. Average age of MS1 is 25. My son was accepted at just 1 school, top 100, 100th percentile mcat, 3.93gpa honors biology, was an organic chem ta and genetics researcher, ran a charity during covid. He is the youngest person in his MS1 class last year. Many entered with phds already and published research where they are first named researchers. It's such an arms race to get in but once in it's still a grind. 10% of the MS1s from his class failed and are repeating the year. Several are getting divorced too. You really have to devote every last minute to becoming a doctor. It's not something for the lazy. I get hives just thinking about this. 13 years to fellowship doesn't include the gap years. That's the minimum. Most applying now can add 2 more years. That's a long time to train.
I want to become a dermatologist but I’m 19 with an 11 month old. I graduated high school don’t get me wrong, I walked the stage 3 days before I gave birth but I wasn’t the best student because it was a hard time in my life. It feels so impossible right now but I truly want to build a life for myself and my daughter.
My dream is to be a dermatologist. Currently the husband that i have is not supportive. Im surrounded by negativity everyday, unfortunately i cant get out of this situation till i have my own money. Im 23 a baby on the way as soon as he hits 1 im going to start studying and see the way i can enter college 😞 i really want to be someone in life..
Same girl, my partner said to me if you like skin so much why don’t you become a dermatologist then..... We’ve got three kids under 10 and I’m in my 30s lol plus I don’t know where the commas go.... 🤓😅 He didn’t know dermatologists had to go through so much schooling, yeah there doctors honey...
@@xxxmoexxx1 It takes six years to become a dermatology nurse practitioner as opposed to the 12 years it takes a dermatologist to be able to practice, and in some states derm NP’s can do anything that a dermatologist can do.
I too am a first generation American my parents are from Haiti and my older sisters were born and raised up to 15 and years old when they came to the states
@@marshak6717 why? It's never too late. A guy I know has a kid with a super rare desease. Super tired of not finding a hospital that could help bear him, he studied medicine and became a researcher of this rare desease. I promise, I'm not making this up.
I wholeheartedly appreciate the details around your journeys into medicine. I have a daughter who is contemplating a career in medicine after high school (trying to determine at what capacity). This video is great advice (in any capacity or career) about what to expect should she pursue being a medical doctor. Many thanks. #gritanddetermination
Thanks so much to my two favorite people ❤️ I have been planning to go to med school, and even dermatology for a long time. You guys have given me the boost I need to push through to get there. You have no idea how inspirational you are. 🔥❤️
If only I saw this video when I was 25. After a gruelling career in the fashion industry, I'm back in school but at the age of 41, with two kids, I no longer have the years or time left in me to pursue a med degree or even a PhD. I've decided to get a master's in counselling psych but dermatology is what I really wanted to do. 😭 Also, in Canada a doctor friend of mine let me know that med students don't even get to pick their residency. Say what?!?!
A little correction though for the MCAT it is not a 2 day test it's still a 1 day test (7 hours 30 mins) it's just that they can now offer the test 2 times a day depending on what time you scheduled it. So the morning start time is 7 am and ends around 3:00 pm then the next group of people start their mcat at 3:30 pm and ends near 10 pm or so
Hey there!…I really like the way you guys describe each & everything about skincare❤️✨It would be really helpful if you guys make a video about hydra facial in details….take love 💕 TIA
I love y’all videos so much! I’ve learned a lot about what I should be doing for my skin! I would really appreciate it if you guys could do a video over eczema of the eyelids. I’m 24 years old and my dermatologist said that’s normal for women in their 20s to develop this. I’ve had severe eczema since I was born so I’ve always had to use steroid creams and lotions. I recently developed eczema around my eyelids that’s absolutely MISERABLE… I’ve tried many creams and drops but nothing seems to help! The only thing that slightly makes them better is steroid creams.. I hate applying the creams around my eyes because I know that’s the thinnest skin on the body and steroid creams thin the skin even more… please do a video on eczema and eyelid eczema!!
Is that a crystal ball back there? I am a lawyer, too late for me, and wouldn’t do it again - become a lawyer again that is. Super interesting video, even if it is too late for me. Congrats on your accomplishments!
Not me watching this after finishing one year of my aerospace engineering PhD lol. I don't even know if it would be possible to switch at this point. I'm 23 and I don't have any of the prerequisite classes for med school xD my BS is in mechanical engineering. Been really interested in dermatology the past 2 years for some reason, just something I'm drawn to I guess. Thx for the video : )
Hi doctors. What are your thoughts about natural/ plant based/ vegan products? Are they like worth the price? / Do they perform better/ worse? Do you have any recommendations for vegan/ natural products to treat acne?
I’m 25 and been with my husband for 7 years and married for 4. I never graduated. I am working on my GED right now, just past one test, 3 more to go. Have you seen women start family’s while going to school. Right when I’m done with my GED I want to do this. Since before this whole world of dermatology blew up via media I have had a strong passion and desire. I feel I can do both family and school but I worry it will delay the 12-13 years. What do you guys think?
why did I just celebrate with the confetti at 34:47 like I'm a registered dermatologist now and not like I'm entering my senior year of high-school with 13 more years of school 😭😭
This was great and insightful, thank you. I am surprised you are not mentioning the financial side at all. What kind of support is there when you don't have six-figures in your back account? Scholarships? Working part-time? Is it worth taking on debt?
I am a dermatologist also running a youtube channel in pakistan for public awareness. my main language here is urdu so that people could understand well and i these days what i find most annoying here is people request me to allow working with as a staff member so that they could be good at dermatology and then there is a crappy thing called BS dermatology started in pakistan that means you dont even have to get that MBBS degree but still you could be a dermatologist. so the video, actually loooong video is quite relatable how hard it has been for us doctors to be here where we are practicing medicine and aesthetic dermatology, with super posh living style that actually probes them to look for short cuts and start experimenting on humanoid guinne pigs, you know what i mean.Things are very differet in US. More than half of my medical college class is there in US and i truly know the system but in pakistan lack of legislation has created so many quacks and we have a different market here. Some day i look forward to sharing my experiences here on a platform together. hope you consider.
I've read that dermatology is the hardest specialty to get into. I would have loved to have been a doctor but was scared off by home many years of school you had to commit to so ended up being a nurse.
Many women end up wanting to practice part time by their 30s but with 250k of med school debt, that's impossible. Nursing is a good choice. More flexible. My neighbor decided to do that too.
Thank you for making this video! It was so interesting hearing about your journeys 😊 I’m applying to med school right now and derm is my top specialty! 💛 Btw the MCAT’s still a one-day test! It’s 7.5 hours but I’d rather knock it out in one day than prolong it to two days 😅
The only thing that sucks is you still have to dissect a cadaver to become a dermatologist. I don't have the stomach for that. Especially when all I am interested in is the skin and only dealing with that organ. So it is impossible for some people to go into this field because the prerequisites are that of a standard doctor.

But I can’t let go of that dream and I want to be a dermatologist so bad! My next plan is to do a post bacc program and I hope it’ll work out! Thank you for this motivating video!!
update ??? :)
Thanks so much for watching Angela! - shah
I’m a new esthetician and thanks to you guys I have learned so much more about skin care than I did in school, I really appreciate it, thank you guys!!!! You guys are the best of the best!!!!
I'm almost 47 years old, have never wanted to be a physician in my life--let alone a derm--and had no logical reason for watching this vid other than pure curiosity (and pure affection for the docs :)
Verdict: The experience paid dividends.
I think your backgrounds make you very relatable as humans and not just doctors. Love your work!
My mom is always telling me
"Never Burn Bridges BUT always keep at least an open window with everyone!"
Thank you so much for watching! Glad you found it helpful even though you're not going into the medical field!
"Whatever u do in life u have to meet ppl and make connections"
*every introverts nightmare*
@@emyf9197 really good points!
OMG exactly. I felt the same way! I hope I can do this! I'm not outgoing at all ! it takes me a while to warm up and get out of my shell
@@uniquelycourtney8146 same it takes a lot to even step out of the house.. But when I'm out I don't have hard time socializing.. Almost like I don't recognize myself lol
I read a quote that is true n frightening
"Your comfort will be doom of your future.
If I must up the courage and self esteem to start the journey to become a dermatologist.... It will be because of both of you. 🥲
You guys are so inspiring and so real. You should be so proud of yourselves. Hearing your stories makes me so proud of you both. Love you guys.
I’m a third year medical student in Atlanta, Georgia. I’m interested in dermatology and really appreciate your tips!
Me too!
@@Doctorly 🥰😍❤️
You can do it. My son's friends are repeaters and they had similar circumstances. No shame in repeating. Repeating is a dirty word nobody talks about but it's really about secind chances. My son said there are repeatets for every year and you cannot predict who will be a repeater.
I wished growing up I had resources like this to spark interests like careers. Very inspiring stories . I’m obsessed with skin and would love to inspire other kids of color and also lack the sources like myself.
This video is what i've been waiting for! 💙💜
I'm an academic librarian, and I love you guys for making this video. ❤
I am about to start grad school for speech pathology. I’m watching this to inspire me. It’s not that bad 6 years all together plus 1 year to get your CCCS.
Yayyy Dr. Maxfield is back!!! Wish he would be in more videos, such a cool guy!
I played the first part of this video to my 10 year old daughter who can get in her own head when it comes to school. So good guys!!
I hope you both are aware of what a positive force you are and how helpful you are. Not just in terms of skincare advise but in general. I recently found your channel and now follow you both on every platform I can find lol. But please keep being you and making quality content!! You guys rock!!
Thank you so much for the encouragement! We appreciate it!
Best advice I ever got from a boss is, "Be nice to the people sitting around you. You never know when one of the people you think is an idiot and a complete waste of your time will become your report." (Boss.) And she was right, not that I always paid attention to it, to my detriment. So yeah, make those connections.
This video is so inspirational. Thank you so much 🙏🏻
I'm amazed how similar the feelings and experiences are to what I experience as a scientist. Thanks for the insight!!!!
This was soo helpful! Thank you so much for the video 🥰
Well 😂 looks like I’m not sleeping anytime soon! 😂 I’m in U.K. this goes live a 1am hahahah not that bad totally worth it
I'm sorry in advance - this video is mega long.
@@Doctorly hahahah it’s okay! My sleeping routine is sooo crazy right now anyway 😂 just got my drink and brownies hahahah ready to go
I’m an x-ray tech and then got my CT certification right after and it was the hardest 3 years of my life. My instructors made us have everything perfect so it was high level anxiety to have every image we took text book perfect. Unfortunately most patients in the hospital aren’t “text-book perfect” physics was the absolute worse for me during a short summer semester 😭
Such genuine guys 🤗🙌🏼
Thank you so much for this video, I told this earlier as well that you inspire me to become a dermatologist and I found the aim in my life
My dream is to be a dermatologist.
Hun you can do this ❤❤
This has become my favourite UA-cam channel ❤
Some days before I wrote that I got my aim in life, you inspires me to become a dermatologist in your comment box and You just posted it
As an esthetician, I often joke with my clients by saying that I’m not smart enough to be a dermatologist. I stand by it. 😁
Would you guys please consider putting captions on your videos? I know it’s time intensive but so important for accessibility.
eeeeek so excited to be a doctor! Thank you so much for sharing your experience and very valuable advice ☺️
Surely intelligence combined with hard work are the key requirements. Confidence can be acquired.
Here we go🌠
I just got my esthetician license at 21 now I want to study dermatology. This is so inspirational. Thanks guys !

Will you guys please do more videos working through USMLE questions? Thank you for this video! It’ll help a lot of people :)
Love this platform and the information you provide👍🏽 btw You guys are so handsome 😍
It's too late for me 😅 But I would love to hear about your journey. Aside from "I want to look dewy" story. We all heard that one haha
Studying love. That's the only way to become anything.
@@pensaingiallo what I meant was I'm already a software consultant and I enjoy doing it so that's why it's too late for me
@@marshak6717 why?
OMG NEEDED THIS VIDEO THNK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE U GUYS SO MUCH!
This vdo gives me so much motivation 🙌
My daughter is a PharmD she would love it!
Please make a in depth video about hair care & hair growth and actual supplements that help that won’t break the bank.
The MCAT isn’t a two day exam. It’s still a one day exam.
Anybody here for Dr Shah's eyes ❤️❤️❤️
Not me watching this after finishing one year of my aerospace engineering PhD lol.
I don't even know if it would be possible to switch at this point. I'm 23 and I don't have any of the prerequisite classes for med school xD my BS is in mechanical engineering. Been really interested in dermatology the past 2 years for some reason, just something I'm drawn to I guess. Thx for the video : )
In the same boat as you
Graduated in Chem Engineering last year, worked in industry for a year, just quit, and ended up at this video…what am I doing???
We both took on debt. I’m not sure exactly how much Dr Maxfield took on but I have around $400k - Shah
@@Doctorly Thanks for your candor.
Could you post a more in depth video regarding sub-rotations? Like traveling, how to find the proper place, etc. 😢
Look forward to see more amazing videos from doctors
Eid Mubarak!!!
Thank you for making this video! It was so interesting hearing about your journeys 😊 I’m applying to med school right now and derm is my top specialty! 💛
Btw the MCAT’s still a one-day test!
