My name is David and with my dog Lefty we travel the country in our ambulance conversion RV. I made this change to my life and you can too! Like, subscribe and comment! Lefty would appreciate it - he wants the adventures to keep coming!
The Campulance is a 2002 Ford E450 Marque Commando 164 Class III ambulance powered by the Ford 7.3l Powerstroke turbo diesel engine and a 4 speed 4R100 transmission. Lefty is a 68lb American Staffordshire Terrier (best I can tell) that came from the Verona Street Animal Shelter (www.vsas.org/) in March 2014 at the age of 9 months. Nothing beats the love & addoration of a Pit bull. I miss my red nose pit. We found him chained to a tree at an abandoned house. Cut the padlocked chain off his neck and he leapt into my arms. He had a great life with me.
They do give a lot of love :)

Lefty having the zoomies was so funny never laughed so much. I remember my staffy doing that before she went blind she's the same age as lefty and her blindness doesn't bother her. 😊

You know as "we" were walking along having "our" conversation i began to rhink that if someone would have asked me six years ago would I sit and watch a guy walk a dog through the dessert while he talks to a camara I would have asked them if they were crazy. Yet here I am doing just that. David, I find your videos relaxing. I guess thats why I enjoy watching them. I started for the ambulance info and got a lot more. I was actually watching a guys video the other day which was three years old and he shouted you out for the info you supplied him on how to do the solar electric stuff. You've always been so kind to people and more than willing to help out if you can. Stay safe and be well.

Finds, two good Frisbees, two wire baskets that fit my outdoor kitchen, complete sink hose, a tent all waded up but complete and a bag for tents or something. Great haul! Thought of you each time! Ha! Luv ya, love your channel❣️ 🏕️🥏🧺

Today marks my 3rd Nomadiversary. I don’t remember having rain like this outside of monsoon season. Good to see you’re feeling better. Does kinda suck being penned up all day so streaming is somewhat of a godsend.

Lefty knew he had a great human parent when he locked eyes with you. I guess that you could call that destiny. I am glad you and Lefty found each other. Sorry that you aren't feeling well. Sounds like either you had a bad case of sinus drainage and maybe a good case of strep. Vitamin C, keeping yourself hydrated, Advil, and rest should help. Maybe some antibiotics if you have any. Good luck safe travels.
Thanks for sharing. I live in the mountains of Virginia. Six years with no wheels. Only 66 yr old. 970 days alone except for 45 days errands or medical appt. Very lonely. Watching you and lefty walking helped. I do have three dogs and a cat. Thank God. Safe travels. ❤🙏🐕🦺

The first day you took him home and laid across your lap. That means he was feeling safe and cared for.
Also be aware aggressive drivers everywhere. Just did a round trip to Oregon from Arizona and oh my God the anger on the roads are incredible.
I see that all the time. I just cruuse us along in the slow lane :)
I also just completed a trip from Oregon to Arizona. Most of the drive was pleasant as I chose to drive through Nevada, only through the populated cities did I have problems with aggressive rude drivers. All in all it was a fun trip.
I've seen some real scary ebike fires, even explosions.
Love watching Lefty play in the water! U have what everyone is getting! Keep an eye on it a friend he just ended up in the hospital with it! It just hangs on forever the cough part! Stay safe!

I doubt you had anything viral ...many people in my camp was sick the entire time I was there in laposa south from November to February and I don't think they were passing it around I think there's literally something in the air that is making people sick and getting into the respiratory system, once I left Quartzsite and came back home to Tennessee everything cleared up and I wasn't sick anymore, it was getting to the point I was having to take multiple allergy medications daily just to get by, and I had a non stop cough keeping me up everynight. Again... as soon as I left there everything cleared up. Hope you feel better soon 🤗
I hear out West in the desert area there are funguses that are in the ground. I watch Reacher at my daughter's place and I love it. Alan Richson or something like that is that big hunk of man. 😊
My Dog Buddy that is also a Staffordshire Terrier goes nuts when it rains, and gets even worse if there is thunder. He gets so nervious and shakes when there is thunder. I have got him a thunder jacket, it helps some, but he still gets worked up.

As an adopted dog Mom, I loved hearing the Gotcha Day story of Lefty. He really is a very special guy and he loves you so much! That's why he likes to get on your pillows....

Don’t rush home to NY, I’m down on Long Island NY and the weather has been rain rain rain and now it’s freezing again, when you do head home take your time, try some two lane side roads, that’s pretty much the only way I travel in my van, it’s fun way to see our beautiful country

When we were in Texas, we found a 20 Baht bill. It’s Thailand’s currency. Looked it up and it’s worth like 53 cents lol. Safe travels back to New York.

Glad you’re feeling better. I shop early morning to keep away from crowds during the late Fall and Winter months when all the cold, flu stuff is floating around. If I hear on the news of an outbreak I’ll wear a mask in public for a while. I hate getting sick and have a rough time with respiratory illness. Enjoy your videos!!!

Yeah, that throat sounds rough. Could be all that green stuff and flowers sprouting in the desert this year is having an effect.
I know what Lefty is saying: "How about an infra-red heat lamp to warm my belly for my birthday? And a paper bag full of popped popcorn that I can tear apart with my mighty terrier teeth?"
Follow up to that story about finding the hand grenade fragment in the desert -- a few weeks ago, a Canadian thrift store opened a donation box and found a live grenade. No word on if they found out who donated it.

It was a heavy rain, right!
So sorry David you've taken ill but you power through it just like you always do. Here in the Southeast region of the United States where I live many many people went through the same old garbage like you're going through and it lasted about 2 weeks but I'm hoping for your sake it's only half that or less. I got four rescues to date and I love them all and two cats besides and they're all great so anything goes when it brings no harm to you or Lefty.

Agreed, you can also just use tea with honey. Try gargling with some warm salt water, that should also help.

Tom Cruise is not and can never be the real Reacher Character that Lee Child wanted ! The guy playing Reacher in the Amazon Prime also play an action character in a movie of several years ago ! Hi guys, I want to share a stop cold, respiratory in its tracks. I was traveling when that night. I felt stuffy and sick with a sore throat. Chop an onoin, I prefer red or mild onions, place on the botton of feet with a sock,then wrap in plastic wtap up on ankle to stay in place. Then, sliced onion to wrap around my throat. Now, I needed a shower the next morning, but I was WELL. No sign of suckness. Nipping it in the bud and early has worked every time. Take care 😊

That's the same thing my Cajun grandmother used to say. I trust the old tried and true knowledge of our ancestors more than modern medicine but I can't help but wonder how in the world they tripped across that cure.

Yep we got 6 " of snow yesterday.
Tupelo honey is very soothing to my sore throat so I always keep some on hand.
Our dog (Gypsy) prewashes our plates/ bowls before we do the final wash... which also means that what we don't eat because we are 'full' she gets...❤

I am glad you are consulting the weathermen. They are excited with all of the irregularities of the weather all across the US. all that La Nina stuff...weather is harsh and even more unpredictable. So give yourself some time to feel better and do whatever to your rig. You have time on your side now.

I normally don't drink Alcohol, but if I have a bad Cold or Sore Throat, a shot of Whiskey will usually let Me sleep and it will sweat the cold out of You.

Yesterday I met a guy who I watched on youtube here in Q when I was having lunch at Barbie's. Maybe some day our paths will cross. I was here at Scadden when the storm hit. Still some puddles around.
