yep, canines have thicker skin than us so what might feel like a playful nibble to another dog/coyote will probably be painful to a human, but the intention of playfulness is still the same. This coyote was clearly raised by this man from a small puppy. There is no way in hell that a wild coyote would not mangle his hand. What we witnessed here were love bites.
Not as a puppy; she's a female and took shelter from other Coyotes on his porch. They bonded and he also has a raccoon and deer visit him as well. All coinciding. The Coyote is named Weave.

When a human encounters a new animal he asks himself two questions: Can I eat it? Can I pet it?
@@benjaminthefox if not the former, the latter shall be employed.

You can see right away that they are friends. He is nibbling his hand. Just like dogs do when they play❤
yep, canines have thicker skin than us so what might feel like a playful nibble to another dog/coyote will probably be painful to a human, but the intention of playfulness is still the same.
This is why you need to teach puppies (domestic dogs) young that biting, even playful nibbles, shouldn't be part of an interaction with humans, and should be saved for dog play.
