I just love watching your videos they are so relaxing, your collection it's stunning. And I love how respectful you are, not only to others but to your plants too. ❤️
I love the variegated peperomia as well. The variegation gives it a metallic look. And I love that characteristic with the syngonium as well. I have them all over the front and back yard and they all look different because of the amount of light they get. Love it!
I love how calm you are about seeing mealies in your maranta. I definitely would not have reacted as nonchalantly. Congrats on all the beautiful plants.
I'm so glad to hear the Ring of Fire can grow back. I bought one on Etsy in Feb and then it got frigid COLD! It was just 23°F the morning I ran to pick it up at the PO. It has great roots but some leaves are cold damaged 💔. Love your plants and content!

I watch your videos religiously 😅😅 its addictive like K-dramas. 52 minutes felt like 20 minutes, i have to make sure "was that all??". Request pleasee for more hoya videos 🤗🤗
Ouch - the variegated maranta in Singapore is very very expensive! At least 5-6 times more than the plain green one. I like the variegated one though! Mine has white and green variegation- but light is tricky ! And the Monstera Thai con is cheaper than albos here. That’s for the video- love to see your collection!
Hi Sean. Another super informative video. I really prefer non-variegated but I love all of your plants! I wanted to say thank you for the customer service I always get when buying your products, particularly yesterday. I haven't even placed an order but I got a really quick reply to my questions and helpful suggestions of products. Sorry for leaving a product review on your video but I'm so grateful.
I have applied a lot of your tips to my collection and they always work! You're our plant gurú haha. I always watch your long videos to see if I can learn something new and I always do! (I hope I can remember all of that tho xD)
I agree: tie for rubber tree and tineke! Such beautiful plants. Honestly my tineke is besties w my fiddle leaf and they hang out and grow together. You’re right 😍 the new leaves never get old! They live in bright light all day - flirting w the idea of some morning direct. I’m not the best w translating my plant care - I just kind fly by the seat of my pants!
😂😂😂 ZZ’s and tardigrades. I’m *dying*!! I’m so happy I finally found you. You such a good job you’re very good at speaking and I absolutely love your passion for plants! Thank you for what you do!!! 💚💚💚
Totally agree with you that plants is not about what it is worth in terms of money. I love both my non variegated and variegated, rare and not rare plants and treat them with love and respect that they deserve. 💚 Most of my current variegated plants are bought luckily before this current madness.😅 After the prices went up sky high, I went back to basics and start appreciating common plants that are beautiful in the own ways and that practically no one is looking at. And they make me equally happy. 😊✌
Thank you for your videos and all the great tips and advice I bought a variegated schefflera arboricola about two months ago and it's doing much better than I thought it would. It has about 70% 'albino' leaves but is thriving and it looks very unique I bought a braided three stemmed one recently, but it's only got a bit of the bright leaves, maybe 10%, and not as bright, and not the full the leaves being all white/very bright green. Very fascinating plants Best wishes to you and yours ^
Tineke actually loves direct sunlight, I have mine at the west facing window and it grows like crazy with no burned leaves. It does get some sun stress and the variegation turned light pink on newer leaves but it just looks even better now. But my favorite ficus is altissima, I just love green on green variegation.
Hai Sean, Can't wait for your new nursery, Coz you have so many varieties of plants not only the expensive one. Watching your video it's such a blessing 🥰.
I love your vlogs. 🌱🌿💚 and I love your plants!! Omg 🥰 as for the Variagated Monstera there seĺling for unbelievable prices here in Western Australia by the one leaf cutting 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤪 and you do not wanna know how much a two leaf cutting of the variagated adasonii went for 🤦🏽♀️ I almost fainted.
Hi my Indonesian friends. It's high time to stock your own variegated plants now, esp. the variegated Florida Beauty. Because the "Orchid var" collectors in Vietnam are insanely hyped right now about variegated foliage plants and they have started to collect many kinds of them at unbelievable price recently (several times higher than the market price at the time being). Their hype at the moment is to hunt down all variegated Florida Beauty (at all costs), from anywhere possible (mostly Thailand, and second market is from Indonesia). You will see the price starts to rise crazily very soon. These people have no mercy.
If you want a green german wax ivy, just get it to revert in less light. I had some strands in a variegated pot revert from the lighting and i couldn’t bring the variegation back out (although the new growth did go purple from sun/high growlight stress.)
@@onlyplants lol sorry i wasn’t faster! It didn’t dawn on me until i rewatched it again last night. Yours is one of the two channels I happily rewatch over and over 😁
The plant that Gabriella plants sells is named Rio not Gabby. You can find the info on the website. It looks completely different, more white and dark green, no yellow. 👋
the variegated rubber plants (in fact I have the white, the pink one and another variety has very dark small leaves) they can be extremely neglected and they are loyal just recently after about a year of neglect gave them a little attention and they just thrive (the pink one lost some leaves during neglect) however these are the only plants (so far) that I want to keep out of the ficus family (I have had a variety of them and I find them super challenging to keep)
@@onlyplants May is my birth month for the special Calathia + ! I'm getting quite a lot of these. I'm scared I'm going 2 get whiteflies!! I'm in Florida and want 2 grow outside.
Your videos are so informative. I have a 12 year old green Hoya Hindu rope - actually about 3 or 4 plants in the pot. It is about 3 feet long and very full. The early growth on two of the branches have leaves that are yellowish with some pink. The leaves are healthy and have been there for years even though it looks like they should fall off. I first thought they were damaged somehow but I wonder if they had some form of variegation maybe due to some sort of condition at the time they formed.
They can actually mutate randomly sometimes, and if you propagate that node the mutation would be duplicated in the new plant. This is why we have hundreds, maybe thousands of varieties of carnosa (yes the Hindu rope is actually a carnosa 😀)
Good God! How did you get your Peace Lily to have leaves this wide? I absolutely love that, but I only find types with narrow leaves. The only minus point of the plant, in my opinion. Please help! 😉
There are lots of varieties of peace lily - I used to think they were all small narrow leaf plants too, but it turns out there are some that have wide leaves, some that grow almost 5 feet tall, some that stay tiny etc etc. I don't think you can make a plant that has narrow leaves grow wider leaves - you just have to find a wider leaf variety. Hopefully you can find some with wider leaves!
It’s funny how everyone is different lol I personally don’t find variegated plants attractive, they look like an eye sore to me, I’d rather my plants have full rich green leaves, my best friend on the other hand lovessss variegated plants.. ultimately all that truly matters is that you love and care for your plants haha ❤️🌱
Hi love, i want to know how you manage mosquitoes? I am noticing mosquitoes staying near my peace lilies and Calatheas esp Orbifolia. Am tempted to spray insecticides. Please comment or share a video about it ☺️ Love, Chris Sorillo 💖
It could be low light, too much nitrogen in the fertilizer, or just bad luck. Try cutting it back usually the new vines sprouting from lower nodes can variegated

Variegation comes naturally, you’ll have to acquire plants with variegated genes/dna.
