WOW! Thanks so much Sean for taking us to the show. I was especially glad you were able to film pre opening as we would have missed some rare beauties; thanks!
Oh wow! For me, Part Three was the absolute highlight!!! I'm so glad you filmed that too and not just the (for me, rather boring) aroids!!! I know, most people are the opposite of me, lol. Many thanks for all your hard work, Sean!!!!
I don't like aroids. I wish there were more flowering plants. I guess I'm just old school like that. I would definitely go for the Oxalis and the Selaginella varieties here
I look forward to this particular video from you every year! Thank you so much for showing us what is happening in these shows where we can't make it or afford these amazing plants!
I haven’t watched your videos in quite a while, but I do appreciate the amount of effort in this video. I know that I would never be able to do a quality video like this. I’ll be too anxious and too hyper about all the cool plants! Thank you 😊

Sean another super video of dream plants. Solid audio narration. 🙂 Always great to see what’s on the leading edge of the plant movement. I really envy the collectors and enthusiasts who can afford the astronomical prices. As a plant hobbyist I am not sure I could bear the fact that if I bought a high dollar plant and a few years later it would sell for a fraction of the price.😂 Nevertheless whether you can afford one or not its exciting just to fantasize!
Thank youuu ❤️ I myself am a silent observer of these exuberant transactions, not seeing myself in the position to buy them. A lot of these are businesses who can turn these purchase into profits!
I LOVE your enthusiasm when you're around new plants, and even in your tutorials for more common varieties! Thank you for sharing your passion and your knowledge with us!! 🥲🙏🏻💕🪴
You can always spot Filipino live sellers to any plant expo in Thailand especially when it comes to Cacti. After plant expo , Filipino sellers tend to visit nursery/farm to continue the live selling or they even visit the Chatuchak Plant/Flower Market. As a newbie collector of plants, we love these Filipino online sellers because they are able to bring plants from Thailand back to Philippines. We are able to acquire plants from Thailand without leaving the Philiipines or even leaving our houses.
@@onlyplants there are also a lot of Filipino residing in Thailand selling ornamental plants particularly Philodendron, Aglaonema and Bromeliads to Filipino collectors
❤️❤️ I love the green anthuriums too but I applaud people who create and successfully grow the variegated. Can you imagine the care for the variegated 😨
Fascinating! The money in that room is nuts. My only issue with live selling is the FOMO that comes with it. You don't always have time to research to compare prices, etc. You also don't always know what's coming next, so you may spend your budget early. Live selling is best for sellers.
Great that your beautiful work is sponsored by Palmstreet!!! You deserve it and more! I dream about a real TV show for you! Your work is methodical, useful and beautiful. I cross fingers for you!!! 👍👍❤❤
Thank you for taking us along on these wonderful events. I can't stop saying "wow" throughout the video. There are funny moments and rare plants for me. Jaw dropping plants I might say. Again, thank you 🌱🌿💚
I am happy to see a new upload from you and a new one from Thailand again! I love those miniature orchids. I am starting to collect orchids and have a few miniature. I have a lot of Nepenthes because of your past vlog. I am grateful for that.
It's a plant exhibition plus sale and I feel bad that many customers/visitors don't get to see some amazing plants because somebody has already bought it as soon as it was unboxed. Here in my state, we also have these types of plant exhibitions, some even go for as long as 10 days. Everyone participating in such exhibition knows that the plants have to be exhibited for full 10 days. Customers/visitors can book and pay for the plants that they want. The plants are tagged as sold/booked, however, the plant stays exhibited for 10 days. Only on the last day the plant is taken off the shelf and handed over to the buyer. All the plants are in full display till the last day of the exhibition. This avoids over crowding on the first day, plus you don't miss any plants even if you visit on the last day.
I guess I may have to join Palmstreet, but I really don’t want too due to the addiction. Thank you so much for bringing these new beauties to us! I love learning what is out there.
REMEMBER FOLKS WAIT at least another year before going out and spending $600 on a monstera. They just Released (costa Farms) Thai Con this year, and we saw Thai's price drop to $30 for 6in pots.
I’m learning so many new plants! Monstera white lava is a stunner Edit: that Stephania at the end doesn’t even look earthly, it’s so beautiful. Gosh wow.
Live selling has changed the game here in the US, I personally think. You get to interact with the seller and see a full 360 what plant you will be buying. Palmstreet was so innovative for that
For those who buy the plants before others see them, do you think it’s because people are collectors or do you think some people want to buy the most exclusive plants so they can clone them?
I think its both. I’ve heard there are collectors who hoard these rare plants just to be the only ones in the world who have the few. A lot of millionaires have this kind of mindset. But for the most part people want to have return on their investment, so they bring it home and quietly propagate it. For example: 1 x $10,000 plant can be turned into 4 $5,000 plants in about 6 months. He can sell 3 of them and still have 1 parent plant to keep producing off of.
For a beginner collector, This is so impressive. The varities, colors, verigations as well as the prices; it's a huge sea of green leaves. I wish I could attend. Thank you for sharing.
Its a good time to be a beginner collector. Some of the “rare” plants of the last 5-6 years have become very cheap! We paid 5-10x more to collect those during the covid era. So much diversity to enjoy.
I am a coral reef tank hobbyist as well and there are lots of live sales/live auctions in the coral world. its actually sometimes the only way to get a piece of some really expensive corals for a good price. They are usually smaller cuttings (frags) than you can get normally but like plants you can grow them from very small pieces.
i agree with plants’ color often not appearing like how we see it in person 😑 that’s why each time i took photos of them, i color grade them (fixing their colors in apps and sometimes match their color to their real-life counterpart or to my stylistic choice). i suppose there are video apps that can do that, though color grading in videos could be a huge undertaking
What a video Man stunning though I am in India we don't have so many varieties but after watching this I and my mom rushed to the nearest nursery to buy some aglonemas and monsteras 😂😂 that we had nearly bought All the varieties they had Thank you for the motivation 😅 I hope I'll continue with this❤
