This has quickly become my favorite channel. You can tell how much you care for your plants. Bonus points for using those yogurt drink bottles as propagation containers haha
Hello, my name is Cynthia. I've always had plants 🪴 but just two or three. I now have 42 plants! I have learned so much from you videos... Thank you. Your so sweet talking to your plants... lol. When you cut you say "sorry" and "So cute." Your very sweet. I hope you open up your new shop. Thank you and stay safe. Cynthia
I’ve learned so much from your videos! I love how you teach how to prop and and show realistically the amount of time it takes from some plants to grow! Super inspired. Can’t wait to start propping some of my plants 🪴🌱🪴
Hi Mr. Enthusiast, I too am addicted to your channel. I am in Jamaica which is tropical,so i can grow most of the plants.I have learnt a lot from you,and have been sharing the information with other gardeners. Thanks.
Your plants are beautiful, Ive learned a lot from you about propagation.. I would love to see you stand back and pan over your plant setting.. I bet its beautiful
Lol I use yakult bottles too here in California. They’re the perfect size and shape for small water propagations! Loved this tour of your props. Very inspirational.
You have an incredible collection of plants. I'm jealous of your growing conditions. And I agree...I learn more about a plant through propagation that I do growing the mother plant.
Variegated mini-dachshund, hahaha. So adorable. I absolutely adore you AND your collection. Every single plant is happy and thriving. I can tell how much you love each one.

Brenda Herrera Moreno I do have a balcony tour video up, and am currently uploading a new video on 16 house plants in my living room. Stay tuned for more! And thanks for watching and commenting its really encouraging for me.
I’m moving in with you; at least for a month and I promise the whole time I’m there I won’t even sleep just playing with all your plants. My Lord, Sooo very beautiful 🤩 and you even decorate some of them with stones. Crazy question What is the one stone that looks like a orange chestnut that is on top of soil of the Leca? Have so much fun and joy, What a talent and very special gift you have!
Hi Sean! I have gone back to the beginning with you, catching all of your videos, I don't want to miss out on any news or teachings! I am learning to enjoy the 50 plants I have. (remember those days?)lol .I find I am getting to "know" my plants on a more personal bases and they bring me renewed joy! THANKS!!
Thank you for a great video. Thanks to you I was able to propagate lavender plant. I kept buying lavender plants that kept dying finally I just took a few cutting as soon as it arrived and managed to grow 1 .
Hello from New York City, you videos are very inspiring, of course living in Indonesia is like having access to a giant free green house year round! but i tried a couple of you propagation methods successfully under grow lights, so thank you and happy new year!
I wish I could go home to Indonesia and bring a whole lot of plants back to NZ!!! So jealous when my aunties in Indonesia showed me all their gorgeous plants!
I really like watching your videos, dude. Your voice is relaxing. Your plants are looking nice n healthy, too. Thank you for sharing them n God bless you!😇🙏🎚️
I just found your channel and I’m addicted! So informative. I wish I could grow that many plants but I live in Melb Aus. Too cold for most tropical plants 🌱
Hello. I have recently followed your channel and i love watching you speak about yuor plants. I thought you have an amazing collection. In this video i learned one more scientific name for a similar plant of mine. Its the very first plant you highlighted - Ctenanthe Lubbersiana. Mine has very light yellow green almost white with streaks of dark green. We call them here Arrow plant or 'uraro'. It produces white ginger looking but smoother and flesh is taro like root crop which are edible. I am not at all sure if they are the same. But really you can just cut them and stick them on the soil and they will grow without rooting it first. What they prefer is great sunlight. The more direct the more thirsty they get the more they grow fast. Tall and stalks grow nodes like zigzag road and leaves grow bigger I also noticed that they prefer to live watered frequently on soil ground and in direct sunlight. When their leaves wither it means i forgot to water them for days and when i water them again they start to grow new leaves and taller again. They are great in filling an area in your garden and even make as hedges. I alternate them with snake plant which is highly resilient themselves.
Whoaaa interesting let me give mine more light and see what happens. Mine actually curled up its leaves when given bright indirect light but now that I have duplicates I can experiment. Thanks!
@@onlyplants i wish i can chat more as i wanted to share pictures of mine. Im a bad owner. I plant them and let them grow on their own. You inspired and took away my fear for hoyas. Which by the way i only learned the name from another vloger like u. Now i tried both ur recommendation, cuttings on potting mix and water, only 4yrs after i had them. It was growing resiliently attached to a cocohusk and it was bad of me to let stay that way. I travel previously a lot and was afraid to touch it lest i kill it. So your video renewd my faith in regrowing it.
It's okay I love watching your videos so much enjoyed and inspiring.. Love much your plants very stunning and healthy. Thanks for the info and more videos to watch from you.. Keep safe.. Thanks again for sharing your plants..
What a delightful display of such a lovely variety of plants and cuttings. They seem to be doing well under your care. Your Pepperomia Polybytria is quite nice. I lost mine but wish I knew that I could have propagated as you did. My plant collection is a great deal smaller but I enjoyed your video and the information imparted. Thanks for sharing.
"I'll try not to make this video too long" lol do you know who you're talking to? 😜 this video was so informative! Would love to see a video about how you keep track of plant care, props, etc - if you have a system?
Love this video! I lived in Singapore but back then i wasn't into plants,im originally from the Caribbean which has high humidity as well. Now i live in Canada and the strugle is real to keep up with humidity and to find all the beauties you have! Just subscribed to your channel ! Pease keep uploading this videos!
Raisa Posteraro thank you for the support and encouragement! It means a lot to me. Humidity is actually a bit overplayed, I noticed what plants really need is the right light, soil, watering, and airflow. High humidity with low air flow is a plant killer!
I am in t process of watching your video called cheap plants and rescue. You reported a coleus plant and a piece broke off. I hope you had good success with the one that broke off and you cut the stem down. In my experience my plants do better when I cut all the leaves off except the top 4 or 5 leaves. And if any of the leaves are really big I cut the leaf in half. That way the plant itself doesn't think it has to repair any of the leaves or stem. I don't believe in luck but I hope you have good success. Have a good and blessed night tonight.
Propagation is so much fun , but I'm running out of room hahahaha and when friends want a cutting I just hack off so much that the parent plant just keep getting thicker.
Love your plants and your channel. I have some of these plants myself. I live in tropical Sri Lanka and want to know how you manage mosquito breeding when water propagating. Keep up your good work Sean.
I propagate in my bedroom always. I rarely see mosquitos here. Outdoors perhaps you may consider putting a cotton ball in the lip to prevent mosquitos from entering 😀

Hello, I really like your explanation I wish I can have the kind amount of plants!!! They beautiful and healthy and the way you explain and talked about plants really interesting....
Hello, I want my plant to look more bushy. So some people on youtube suggest that put your cuttings to the mother plant's soil however cuttings needs more water. so I must water them more often but mother plants doesnt like more water. Is there any suggestion about that situation?
You can spray the topsoil, since the cutting is positioned closer to top soil while mother roots are deeper. Another option for bushier plant is to not cut the trailing plant. Instead you take the vine and loop it around the pot. And then you pin down the aerial roots to the soil. This causes aerial roots to form roots. After roots are very established (3-4 months) you can cut them t the internodes and each node can turn into a plant 🤓
Lovely, lovely video! The next time you propagate, please do a video! Hope you continue to keep us update, especially on the begonia- cissus discolor. I was never under the impression you could propagate from a single leaf, I thought that you need a node.
I am still figuring out begonia propagation, so far its my lowest % success although most experienced growers will say that begonias propagate like wildfire.
@@onlyplants Thanks, it seems counter-intuitive to me though. Moss is best for retaining moisture (apart from water). When something has roots but no leaves it doesn't evaporate much and would intuitively benefit from something faster draining. No?
