@@the-np4mr I honestly forgot about this pedal. I just did a quick search online and it definitely looks like another Electra derived pedal. Wish we still had it sitting around so we could add it to the series. Nice catch. Appreciate it!
The idea is for the JTM is put a clean amp into that “edge of breakup” sound without the amp being cranked. Then everything going into it just sounds better. Especially nice to have with you at a jam where you use a back line amp and you want to get a sound you are familiar with
The JTM is definitely cool, but I love the direct drive. We recently got a version 4 which is really good and has some more options. That said, I’m not parting with my early one! Glad they worked out.
this JTM from lovepedal sounds awesome . its an always on for my crunchy rhythm tone from now on . thanks for the awesome gear reviews .
I can see that for sure! Thanks!
The best part about this is its an electra distortion lol
You know we did this pedal long before our Electra distortion series. It never came up in our research but I suspect you are right!
@@PJandtheBeard ah fair enough lol

Well you just described it much better than us! That’s it! Does it well too.
Lol I can see Pat is underwhelmed.
@Brian Landreth Takes him longer sometimes lol... I used it today with a strat. Sounded great.
Recently bought a JTM and an early Direct Drive based off this video, great pedals for heavy sounds
