Hey people it's another program about the same person another show did. His story is worth telling more than once. Deal with it.
I rewatch that episode all the time so this is nice 👍🏽
@@TheProfessorNM, I loved that actor. He made that episode so entertaining.
Saying deal with it sound so rude
@@TheConorsmithusa don't tempt me.
It’s not called program it’s called another youtube channel but yes you’re correct
Can't believe the cameraman just sat around and filmed him and made him do all the work
this guy was by far the smartest ones out of them all, gonna watch his one again it was incredible
theres an older one thats like 46 min btw
This is guy is legend , I really enjoyed his story, it is one of these stories that you will never forget , hopefully one day I meet this guy ^_^
Someone needs to give that raft company a 5 star rating
Steve loved the raft for obvious reasons. Yet after his experience he designed rafts that were far superior.
I'm not going in a bath again, it's too dangerous.
If I was this dude I wouldn’t even wanna stand next to the ocean for the interview 😂
Ikr... I'd say hell no not here!!! I'd never go near the ocean again💯🤣👌
Steve was a Dover Massachusetts family friend in the 1960s. I remember his disappearence like it was yesterday. Amazing story of survival.
Someone said his story was exaggerated and he was only at sea for @ days.
I go to my mailbox with camping gear a compass, 40 gallons of water, my aid kit, a defibrillator, pen and paper, food, and a flashlight in daytime. Except I aways make it back from the 15 feet I traveled. Lol . Kudos to this man!
You win comment of the year💯🤣..... This comment is highly underrated and is sooooo freaking great!!!
@@jaynapickett618 thanks, but seriously, do not travele unprepared, big rookie mistake.
@@lk4429 That's alot of people's mistake, they travel unprepared 💯... Whether your going to your mailbox or not always go with SUPPLIES, Water , food, lights, etc... especially going on any trip further than more than half a mile or less from home because you never know what could happen💯. My motto~ ALWAYS EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED 👌
@@jaynapickett618 clever person you are, yes always prepare, happy to know someone outhere has brains. Have a wonderful day!
Just listened to his audible book Adrift and finished in 2 days what a story
I know I shouldn’t be bringing negative vibes into the comments but the “I shouldn’t be alive” version of this is so much better, It’s so much more intense and adds some more specific details that just make it feel more whole as a story, they didn’t even mention how we dove back into the boat for supplies and his lungs almost burst while the boat was sinking, like come on now
I am in agreement. This version was a low budget watered down disgrace. Too many important details from the original are missing.
Yeah I just finished watching that one, now I'm watching this one. That one was great💯
And I guess youtube noticed how good that one was that they decided to take it down and market it as something to pay for or whatever because you can no longer find it in the search results, only this Hollywood donkey s**t version.
@@jaynapickett618 can you tell me where to watch the original I can’t find it on UA-cam anymore
This guy is a major inspiration to me. God bless you my friend
Incredible man, incredible story. Great re-enactment and some really interesting new details of his ordeal but the I Shouldn't Be Alive episode was definitely better.
I first saw this story on “I shouldn’t be alive”… season 4. Called 76 days at sea or something like that.
Just omg WOW.
It’s gut wrenching watching. I seriously literally would have died in a week. Guarantee. I just can’t believe he went through that.
It makes me so sad thinking about all the other probably gillions of other people that survived an accident at sea for a great deal of time but were never found so their turmoils got completely lost. I can only imagine the stories we’d known of if everyone lost at sea could live to tell their tale.
Yeah it is incredible. And you are correct there are many stories we will never know because people spent this long and longer stranded and didn’t make it. Think about the Franklin expedition they were stuck in the ice for five years and some sightings of few survivors 7 to 9 years after being stranded and not one made it out. Or sailors centuries ago with a lot more remote unknown world and absolutely nobody to rescue you. Some people shipwrecked back then that survived had to make a whole new life where they were with no chance of ever going home again
so the last episode of this guy made him look like he knew absolutely nothing where as this one makes it look like he was survival extraordinaire.
Wow, the man thats playing him got upgraded!
Both versions Worth watching. His type of resilience is rare.
If theres a will,theres a way!
I bet the next ditch bag he assembled was the size of a refrigerator! 3 canned hams, 25 bags potato chips, 25lbs beef jerky, 144 candy bars, 2 kegs of water, case of dinty moore stew, 12 cans chili, 4 boxes saltines, 5 boxes twinkies.
😂
What an amazing, smart survivor. God bless him. Awesome.
He should give himself more credit. He's definitely quite an expert at what he's doing and a smart one that was.
What a cute little raft, it is great how it closes completely to avoid sun and bad weather, what a clever invention.
Have you ever stayed in a tent ..it gets hot 5-10 degree hotter than outside temperature
This version covered his equipment much more clearly. Way better play by play of how he kept track and what he used to survive. This one feels more honest.
This is why I stay inside
Ikr... Me too, me too💯👌
Good to see Steve again :)
The first actor was way better
How can i found the first actor?
true man
Facts! I liked the original better but now I can't find the original version anywhere! :(
Yea I just came back to this vid from a while back and ik something was off
Spolt
Seen this before but well worth a watch again people!
There's like 3 versions of this same thing!!!
Wow this dude is such a legend
I want to see the rest of this recollection interview / story. Where's the rest of this particular story? Not the other I shouldn't be alive video but this recollection video.
Has I age i get to the point if I just have a severe cold sore throat chills or flu I just rather die I feel so awful. I could not imagine strumming up the strength to survive with this man did. Wow...
BRAVOOOO !!!! 👏👏👏
amazing man🙂
To anyone watching this please watch the "i shouldnt be alive" version it is so so so much better and epic. This is more of a rundown of the story.
This version is far less dramatic and has a more positive vibe than the original.
That’s because this man had everything He needed horrible situation but could’ve been so much worse
Well this is anyway a shortened version and not made to be as good as the original one so no wonder
@@それは私です-o4h I see what you did there lol
@@ThunderboltOverkill wtf
@@loficonnoisseur3995 though its technically true that his situation could have been even worse, i strongly advise you to watch the original 50 min documentary
I was lost in my bathtub for days one time. Just when i thought all hope was lost, my mother came in and unplugged the drain. I was pretty young.. 31 and a half.
The book about this is a great read.
Really curious what he ran into in the middle of the Atlantic.
And me nothings mentioned.a whale a floating barrell ir something.very strange.
Is this the same story as that Robert Redford movie? If so, it was shown as a shipping crate, that had fallen off a cargo barge.
Who deleted the originala video? The first video
Wonder what the boat hit
A whale
That’s nice and all but do you know u can save 15% on car insurance?
is there going to be a third version?
I wonder what hit the boat and broke the hull.......
One of the craziest story of all time
Heck of a mindset to have in that situation
Damn that guy is smart! I wonder if theres Napoleon Solo 2??
See also the I shouldn't Be Alive version (S04E06) of this incredible story!
2 months is too risky cuz he hav only sum amount of water n snacks..😯 luckily he is alive thank god AMEN
Why did they remake this?
Why was he out sailing alone without a beacon locator??! 😂🤣
Is this a reupload? The one I watched had millions of views
As a teen, I read the book, twice.
This looks like a low budget productions compare to “I shouldn’t be alive “..
It’s the same company lol
@@randombaguette Literslly exactly
He can’t die those days because he is the main character in the movie here
They have uploaded this before but this is a shorter version of it
Crazy azzz I read his book about 15 years ago ,such an amazing man. I Prefer the book so much better than the doco but fantastic all the same
I enjoyed the interviews amid the storyline. Gives it a "really happening now" feeling. So looking back Steve, name one thing you'd do different?
Don’t even doubt your strength. Just amazing l. God let you here for a reason.God bless you.
My moped knocked off on me one day,,, I was almost 2 miles from home, it was a late July mid afternoon in N.C. 🥵 with no food or water, no human should have survived the walk home but,, I made it,,,, I SURVIVED, but I'll never be the "same" 🥺😝✌️
That'd be fun!!
!!!imagine some fisherman from mexico survived at sea 438 days!!! If you like these stories i recommend great book called "Survive the Savage Sea" by Dougal Robertson true story too.
I've heard about that, got to find it!
Isn't there another video on this on the same channel??
yes. this is a rip off from the real one
yes
I shouldn’t be alive 76 days at sea
The actor’s face while the boat sinks is hilarious I’m sorry.
Is this a true story? I've heard that he set it all up and was prepared for it and learnt how to look after himself before leaving and even had a book about how to survive in the ocean and he was a writer. Its quite crazy that he's in the perfect place for food. Id say most people would do this for fame and glory and money and i say and to much
He shouldn’t put the water thing in the back at night time and the kit is missing a paddle and compass
The first episode was way better
Hes strong i would have went crazy after day 1
19:05 that tongue
I had the funniest dream about this story the other night... He shipwrecked in a small bay, and was immediately beached on his raft no problem!... but for some reason he collected his survival gear and raft and rowed out to sea... thats where the real story, this story starts🤔
How did he poop?
Only playing at it.. what about the mexican fisherman who was lost at sea for over a year !!
I always think how the heck do they record it
Already watched it
Survival mode
They already made a movie about this happening. I want to see the life and times of captain Jack sparrow.
Want same old episode.
Me wondering how the cameras got there
This video has been out before from the same channel
I seen that, but the story still flawless
LMAOOO
Are you sure Dirado‘s Will be that delicious when you go fishing and eat them alive for survival?
conserved with salt and dried by sun, why not. And you've already mentioned the essential - survival!
Why can't these rafts be made more durable? They get so many leaks and sharks are able to permeate them. The bottom of the raft is so thin...it seems like today's technology, a stronger "raft" or dingy can be manufactured?
My question is, what did he hit to sink his ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?
What really scares me? What the heck did he hit?
Why did you make two videos about this
On [I Shouldn't be Alive], the story was a bit different.
What happened to the original video?
True
Where did he poop at tho💀
He is lucky that life raft was not "MADE IN CHINA".
How do you know?
Nope! ! But it was assembled in China tho 🤣
His raft leaked color pigment and he couldn't drunk water from it. Id rather see chinese doing my raft ;)
Your own phone is made in China.
where is the Original?
Idk I want to watch it
I'm also trynna find it. I wanna watch it again
Where the hell is the good version???
second version of Robinson Crusoe..if u have read the novel
2 months are 60 or 62 days, then headline is 76 day, which planet is that
He was there for 2 weeks then it took him 2 more months so that’s about 76 days
The ocean is biggest graveyard
жаль человека
Dude there's 3 of these
Was he with the famous indestructible camera man ?
Who plays the younger Steve?
Imagine copying this from "i shouldn't be alive"
The ones who are allergic to peanuts 💀
Imagine if he sunk it on purpose
Already seen
The first actor was better
