Nice video! Appreciate your feedback. It's hard to go wrong with either!

The fact that y'all make one much cheaper is great for those on a budget or not sure if they want a comp or not. I also like how you offer different ones (which I should have mentioned). Looking forward to putting more rounds through it and will maybe circle back once I get more time behind it! Quality product overall.

@herringtonarms I like how interactive your company is, and makes me happy to be customer of yours. Especially since your product is 1/5 the price to the competitor but better! Herrington over radian everyday.

I appreciate the test, but the only way to fairly test is to compare g19 to g19 or g17 to g17. They have different shooting characteristics out of the box.

@@dallasroberts6932 fair enough. I have a buddy with a 19x we may toss the ramjet on to see. I still will stand by the Herrington being the budget way to go. As a lot can’t justify 500 on a barrel/compensator. But the fact the ramjet is half if not 3/4 the size and can perform almost identical to the Herrington can make it a winner in most peoples books.

But the radian looks sooo good.

All in, I didnt perform as well as I thought with the Glock 17. Just seemed that my grip lept breaking down, and I performed much better with the Glock 19. If cost isnt an issue I think the Radian is the overall best choice because it comes with a barrrel and everything you need. Plus it wins best looking my opinion. But if youre on a budget and want a great comp that is always in stock than the Herrington Arms is the move. Plus, I think you'd need to shoot A LOT to see the differences between the two. Im sure once I get more time behind the G17, I can run it just as close if not maybe better than the G19... But time will tell. Let me know what you think down below!

It's the grip and breathing. I run the HA comp on my Glock 17 Gen5 and this only happens when you over compensate the grip expecting lots of recoil. Go a tad lighter on the grip and hold your breath before each shot. I'm getting the Radian Afterburner comp though. Looks cooler and doesn't stick out too far.

I've ran the Herrington HC9C 3.0 and Radian Ramjet Afterburner on my Glock 45. I'm giving the slight edge to the Radian but I would hope so for 300 more dollars than the Herrington one. The Herrington Arms comp definitely outperforms it price.

Did you get powder burns on your face when you shot from retention? Not sure if ported or comped is good for me since I shot from retention often

I haven’t done much shooting closer than 5 yards. But I did not get any powder burns. Just a lot more concussion. Curious if you’re just running drills from that distance or why you’re shooting that distance often compared to 5+
