    We are kicking Handgun Month off with a "bang" so to speak with a Glock 17 Meltdown. We had our friends over at Quiet Riot Firearms make the necessary modifications to our Gen 3 Glock 17 in order to add a registered auto sear and help make this baby cook! We think you guys are going to be impressed with the results, and you haters out there will be a bit disappointed. Special thanks to SGM Tactical for providing us with plenty of magazines for this test.
    If you guys don't know about our Man Cans and this month's handgun central theme, check out our website below for details.

      @@Migoladon Because tracers are rounds that are hot as hell. They are usually some sort of magnesium mixture that rapidly burns in the air when shot with a bullet. So it's a bit of added heat in the shooting process and since heat is the primary reason most good guns will wear down and fail this is sort of an added challenge.

      Why does everyone think that the WASR is American made? It's a Romanian made, mostly mil-spec, AK. All Century Arms does is import it and make it 922r compliant, but that doesn't mean the whole gun is American. It's without a doubt a Romanian made firearm. Is it as high quality as a Russian AK? No. But it's still a good AK, and way better than any truly 100% American made AK (i.e. C39). Sorry to butt in, but I can't understand why everyone calls WASRs American made.

    • @alexferrara9287
      @alexferrara9287 5 років тому +1

      @13R^D Basically, when it comes to hand guns, get a Beretta M9 (92fs & M9A3 as well), good-high quality 1911 (in .45 acp), Glock (pick your poison, they have many flavors), or a revolver (particularly Smith & Wesson or an old Colt). That said, I would also suggest taking a look at the hand guns made by CZ, FN, and EAA Tangfoglio. You can't go wrong with either of those companies.

    • @alexferrara9287
      @alexferrara9287 5 років тому +2

      @13R^D Ay, I getcha. We're all entitled to our own opinion's brother. I was just adding on to what was already stated. The companies/hand gun models I listed, though I was pretty vague, are among the best options (if not the best) when choosing a hand gun. Can I ask why you have such a distaste for 1911's? And I'm not sure why you would label CZ a cliche, as they make some of the most reliable hand guns/rifles out there. Not to mention, their pricing is unbelieveable for the quality you get. I mean, their "Bren" series of assault rifles (805 Bren, Bren 2, and every different size/caliber variant of each) are among the best combat rifles made, period. Even though it looks like an exact copy of the FN SCAR, the build quality of the Bren unquestionably exceeds the FN master piece. Though, the performance of the two rifles are neck and neck. But if we're completely honest, a majority of people would agree that the Bren 2 is overall, a superior rifle to the FN SCAR (L & H). And I LOVE FN! Hence why I mentioned FN in my original post. In terms of hand guns, I prefer FN's variety but, there are a couple CZ's that are just as good. Glocks are reliable as all hell and are a perfect choice for a beginner or pro but, I prefer a Beretta M9, 92 fs, or M9A3 over any Glock. I have bigger hands and have never felt that they were too heavy for any situation in comparison to a Glock. I will say, one specific gun not mentioned enough is the Hudson H9 9mm. Pretty light weight in my opinion and shoots phenomenal.

But this type of shooting only happens on purpose for "testing" purposes. In the Military when SHTF you have FPF (final protective fire) where belt feed machine guns put up a "wall of lead" to cut everything down but they also can change barrels.

      I bought a glock 26 gen 4 with the flat dark earth finish for my daily conceal carry and it was by far the most attractive gun I saw while shopping around. It was deceptively comfortable to shoot for a guy with bigger hands as well. 9mm isn't too badly price for shooting at the range. I just buy the dogshit, bottom shelf walmart ammo and have never had a problem running it through it. I'm a big believer in training with the weapon you intend on using if, god forbid, you have to use it in a self defense situation.

    I know this video is kind of old, but I was at a gun range in Texas where we live with one of my friends and his Glock 19 malfunctioned on him to the point where his slide flew off the back in the middle of a mag so he said that we should call Glock themselves and we did so they literally flew out the next day, inspected the Glock, told both of us that they were taking it back and going to figure out what the malfunction exactly was, and on the spot handed him a new Glock 19 with two extra mags

      It would be too heavy. These meltdowns are irrelevant to how good the gun is since you would never use this much ammo this quickly irl.

      Im2slick4u 556 I was the same way, never thought I'd carry anything but my combat commander; friend gave me his Glock model 23 chambered in .40 S&W when he moved to Europe, listen, that thing is fucking ferocious. Except for the lack of an external safety, Glock is a special kind of pistol.

  • @louis7052
    @louis7052 8 років тому +9

    4:40....the barrel is so hot that a round in the chamber heated up and and the pistol discharged. This is a good thing to keep in mind if you're going through a ton of rounds--that the gun CAN fire even though a firing pin does not contact the primer!
