Mycelium contains roots but it is the main body of the mushroom, not the root. Besides, the mushroom’s fruiting body contains more nutrients.

@@burgerking220 i really liked it. I made fajita tacos. After i let it rest, i sliced it and seared it again. I've been plant based for 9 years now, so i can't really say how similar it is to meat, but it was close enough for me.

Msg is a glutamate- a flavor enhancer. Mushrooms and tomatoes are full of glutamates.

They make this stuff in a sterile vat in a lab by feeding it sugar. Is it organic sugar, GMO beet sugar or what? I tried this, it tasted okay, but afterwards I had horrible allergies. I am scared to eat any more of it. I wrote the company asking what type of sugar they feed it, but they haven't gotten back to me. This isn't a natural food; it is mycelium that is spread out in the soil all concentrated. Mushrooms are the fruit of the mycelium which is supposed to be invisible. Mycelium is supposed to decompose things in the earth. Maybe it is dangerous to eat it so concentrated.
