The Japanese version of the Zelda Ocarina Of Time Bonus Disc (A pre-order bonus for The Wind Waker) also contains a Dead Phoenix trailer, I've even made a video about the Trailer Selection in each versions although I didn't even know that Dead Phoenix was cancelled until I saw this video.
DYKG: **talks about a Barbie game**
**Shows Killer 7**
Having Bionicle and Galidor stuff is giving me some major early 2000's Lego nostalgia.
Can relate !
Did you know? Super Smash Bros Melee featured Fire Emblem characters Marth and Roy.
And Charles Martinet played a character on an Xbox game but not credited due to his Italian accent
He was in Mad Dash Racing, however it is unknown how he wasn't credited.
Would have loved Conker 2 for gamecube, the first on n64 was amazing.
I'd like to think Conker's sequel would've been renamed, if it'd ever come out, since the first game had a somewhat amusing (and probably intentional) abbreviation. BFD can also stand for "big f____ing deal."
did not expect to see Pokemon Gales of Darkness footage in this video, thanks for the nostalgia punch DYKG
A St. Anger era Metallica game canceled. That makes me actually sad :(
ew
i wonder if lars rode a car made out of drum snares in the game
It likely wasn't coming to Gamecube. In all the material I've read, and the builds that Ive played (be sure to check my channel, thanks for citing me DYKG!), Ive only seen PS2, Xbox, and references to a PC version, no Gamecube.
The game looks kinda like Vigilante 8, a good game btw
@@tylersinger2 Lol I'm a sucker for that album, everyone hates it but somehow I love it 🤪

thank you for adding in the kirby air ride background music! incredibly nostalgic! :)
Can relate !
I've never clicked on a DYKG video so fast
From what I remember, there were articles for Kirby GCN, which featured a character known as Morpho Knight. Morpho Knight will then make an appearance in Kirby Star Allies, as a final boss in a game mode.
Skies of Arcadia sequel at 11:14.
I know that's why I clicked on it.
For those who are totally gonna ask, the song at the end is Rumba of Love from Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness.
Excitement has consumed me.
Wait, I remember that Galidor game. It was on, of all things, Gametap. It wasn't great, but you'd fight enemies and steal their parts to traverse standard platforming stuff. I remember one of the first things you fought were those frog dudes and you got their legs to high jump.
Sigh, I wish I never sold my GameCube. I miss skies of Arcadia and beaten kaitos
You're lucky because (mostly with the wii) it has become, one of the most cheapest Nintendo consoles out here ! (Beside for the official controllers and all the games on it...)
Foulowe 59 very true but skies of Arcadia is SHOCKINGLY expensive, £80+ which is nuts 😥
How long did it take you to beat?
I miss this era of gaming, I miss playing these nostalgic games for the first time, and I miss being a child with all the time in the world to sit down and play the crap out of a game. As an adult I have 8 hours, weekends only to really play games
There was also a canceled earthbound planned for the gamecube
Videos about cancelled products are always a massive tease!
It still remains one of the best consoles ever made
SKIES OF ARCADIA!!! It's so sad that the game hasn't seen a sequel yet, and a shame that more people haven't gotten to play it. It is one of the best JRPG's ever made.
I like watching a video 38 seconds after it’s uploaded.
Wow. A god
I prefer 18 minutes after
I'm just proud of you man, you've come a very long way for an autistic
@@jak3w aww thanks man
I was pretty hyped for the Battlebots game, and was sad to see it cancelled along with the show. I'm kinda hoping the Discovery Channel reboot would drum up interest for a new game.
Skies of Arcadia Legends an excellent RPG.
Never really noticed until now but dykg is a really chill UA-cam channel. Literally just doing them. Just vibing.
I would love a Skies of Arcadia port for Switch
I hope Giftpia is in part 2! I was really looking forward to that one
The more I hear of how Microsoft destroyed a lot of Rare Projects for the GameCube the more I despise them. We’ve could’ve got so many more DK and Starfox games if Rare took on the helm of those series as well as Banjo being in Smash early as well as Conker somewhere down the line. The GameCube is a system very dear to me.
everything Microsoft did with Rare was despicable. They turned them into a fucking Kinect games studio ffs
To be fair, most of the talent in Rare left by that point, they were essentially just husk of their former selves.
There was almost a sequel to Skies of Arcadia?! At this point, I'd be up for another port of the original as I've just always loved that game!
The NGC is the most underrated console of all time. While people already dumped their XBOX and PS2, the GameCube is still being played even until this day.
Yes Super Smash Bros Melee is still more played competitively than Ultimate .
Mario Sunshine and Mario Kart Double Dash have Lot of Speedrunners
I feel the wii is underrated. it also is a pretty good gamecube but that's besides the point
@@Jdudec367 Lol, it was one of the best selling consoles of all time, no way it's underrated, on the other hand the NGC was the lowest selling console of its generation.
@@El_Chuchuca Dreamcast was actually the lowest selling console in that generation. It's way more underrated.
Stage Debut is one of the famous cancelled GameCube games with that one stage dance
Stage debut is pretty obscure tho. Personally...
Turok: Evolution has a criminally underrated multiplayer!
@Nigel Lush but what if it actually was/is a good game, like Soulcalibur 2?
Agreed
I loved Skies of Arcadia, what a boneheaded move to port it to GameCube, but not PS2 where I think it would have had a chance.
"Gizmondo exclusive" is never a good sign for a game.
Dude that sucks I really wish there was a 3D Kirby game for the GameCube. A sequel to Crystal Shards would've been nice.
I wish you'd caption what game the specific footage is from.
Send time frame and I might know.
I just meant in general.
Still bummed out that Bulletproof Monk never released. I love that movie and would've loved to play a game based on it!
So. Many. Painful. Cancellations. Every mention of Rare makes my heart sink further.
Darkozl so sad
Something about hearing a cancelled Barbie adventure game being said to have been action packed whilst showing veautiful Joe in the background was amazing
Are you counting games that came out in Japan and were planned for release elsewhere in the world before getting canceled? Because the rabid Panel de Pon superfan in me really wants to know if you've managed to dig up more information about Nintendo Puzzle Collection than I have. xD
...feel free to contact me for info if part 2 isn't too far from being done already? Lol. Anything to spread awareness of Panel de Pon. :p
Before I even start watching the video, Donkey Kong Racing has got to be here! Rare being sold to Microsoft was a tragety :/
Rare X Microsoft is still a tragedy to this day!
Just look at what they did to Battletoads!
Man, those Conker games sound so good!!! We need Conker back!
"Yooooooooooooooo."
*"Video Games Are Something You Never Really Complete. It's Hard When A Game Simply Refuses To Come Together."*
I could only imagine, not only that but then you have the fans constantly jumping on your back and looking for details... which could be a pain as well especially when fans were really wanting the game to come out! 🙄
Let me preface this by saying I love and appreciate the work put into this video.
But if you're going to title your video "Every Cancelled GameCube Game", then don't end the video with "Make sure you tune into part 2 of cancelled GameCube games."

That's where they originally had DYKG Extra.
Nintendo on GameCube: not level of quality we want to we won’t finish it
Nintendo on switch: *pokemon sword and shield graphics*
I mean they also delayed Metroid Prime 4 for quality reason. Plus Pokémon is more GameFreak issue.
Not defending Pokemon a *bit* , but to be fair it's more Gamefreak's fault than nintendo's.
I'd argue that Kirby Star Allies was Kirby GCN fully realized. Kirby Blowout Blast, while being a sub-game, is a simplification of Kirby 3D. Thr only one we haven't seen in some form is the pop-out book style.
I dont think it is. because star allies was only a 2D games, (that also runned only at 30fps...) compared to GCN, wich was a fully 2,5D, 3D games (made to runs only at 60fps!)
I want to say that KBR is the pop-out book style game because of the art direction of the game but I guess that is kind off a stretch
@@hydrorobot6610 but this game is in 3D and his artstyle is something like action 60s comics style...
