Nothing like putting on 4 hours of game sack to fall asleep to.
Me too!
Boring but familiar background noise aaw yeah
That's real lol
I put this on as a bedtime show as well . Thought I was the only one 😂
wow I'm not alone!! I also use gamesack as sleep teraphy, it's not like its boring or anything I actually enjoy the show but its also great to achieve a good night sleep. somehow dave and joe voices are quite soothing HELL YEAH Gamesack!
I'm so glad you kept doing your thing when Dave left bro.i miss him,but this is by far my favorite channel on the tube.thanks joe.
Odd that he hasn't even come back to visit.
Him and Joe have always been 💯.
I know what the reason normally is, but i'll leave that secret to the RP-ers.
@@SuperPhunThyme9Dave came back for the 12th anniversary episode last year, April 2023. The title of the episode is "Every Game for the SNES Superscope and SEGA Menacer" 🎉
@@SuperPhunThyme9 What's the reason that normally is?
I unironically love putting these compilations on to fall asleep to, there's something so soothing about listening to dudes talk about video games for hours on end.
truth
Same here. Also Game Sack has the good sense to not randomly scream for no reason, which is very appreciated.
OMFG @Stud_baker i do that too! this channela nd avgn sometimes angry joe zomg i thought i was the only one! it's like i'm getting a subliminal gaming education or refresher it's all about min maxing and meta right? 11/10 all hail studdy-boi o7
I do this too but is just too interesting! :(
I love it ur right
Game Sack... One of the youtube greats. Keep the channel alive....
i would drop you boy
let me know if you wanna throw down anytime punk
I love having a Playlist of console crunch and have it play in the background
Why do I get so much more work done with Game Sack playing in the background?
oddly specific milage there
I tend to fall asleep with these long episodes on in the background.
DON'T YOU EVER INSIST I DO ANYTHING
@@akalyx I myself like the number 28. Like 28 miles or 28 oranges. 28 games 28 consoles 28 28 28..
I love falling asleep to the warm tones of your voice.
Then to suddenly snap back awake because of a basses loaded 2 sound clip
One of the best channels around. The guys are just great. Its a pleasure to watch.
This must be Game Sacks expansion pack - Resurrection of Dave.
You know Dave's been gone for years right? Lol
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wished you back, champ!
Dave's not here, man
@@tiberiusbrain Dave got stuck up his fat wife's snatch.
man, gaming in the early 90s was so awesome!.. they really started to understand mood in games around that time... DKC, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, etc.. all so good!
they don't make em' like they used to!
I always include Super Castlevania and Super Mario World. Both have tremendous soundtracks.
@@jasonleveck8546 truth.
Dude, the funny scenes at the end of GameSack episodes are almost as great as the episodes themselves. That shit makes me laugh so hard, thank you Joe and Dave for making such kick ass skits, so awesome guys!
This is a great way to get that Dave fix when you most need it!
I love revisiting the Dave era. Just an all around fun guy.
Probably a stupid question but what happened to Dave?
@@swpdisciple Life. Easiest explaination.
@@SaxcatGamingCorner darn. I really liked he and Joe together. Great chemistry.
"life" is usually just code for "wife".@@SaxcatGamingCorner
12:14 had me cracking up. His adult humor was so random.
A special Thanks to you Joe for leaving Dave's "Double Dong" in the video. 🤣 always cracks Me up!
This is my comfort show.

same
Couldn't have said it better myself!

My job is WAY stressful. I cannot overstate how much your videos chill me out. Thank you for the compilation!!
F Zero soundtrack from the start. Nice.
This must be Game Sacks expansion pack - Resurrection of Dave.
@@micahstevens1666 that sounds painful
Why did Dave leave? Does anyone know?
@@tawdryhepburn4686 He had less time to work on the show. Joe didn't want to inconvenience the fans during COVID, so it's all Joe for the time being.
@@Pensfan5919 ohhhh. It never even occurred to me that it could be Covid related.
@@tawdryhepburn4686 They mentioned it in one of the episodes, Dave had family/life stuff he had to focus on so he didn't have time to work on the show like he used to
This video dropped just on time. These are perfect for when I need to pull an all-nighter for work.
I've always been the guy who enjoys good sound out of my friends. Impact of fighting sounds in games and movies is a big plus for me.
*_POW!!!_*
Ahh excellent watched these sacks before but I'll give them another bash
Dave calling Dixie Kong's Double Trouble as "Dixie's Double Dong Trouble" hahaha
5:32 - PILOTWINGS!!! It’s ironic, cuz that was the first game I saw on SNES too. For some reason, the music to that game is so nostalgic to me. When I’ve had a rough day or rough week, I just throw the Pilotwings SNES playthrough on UA-cam, close my eyes, and imagine being 6 years old again… livin it up in 1988. Good times.
I still play games on my MSX every weekend. Awesome machine!
Great stuff. With or without Dave. I love every episode! Keep them coming!
Thank you for putting these out Joe.
@3:19:30 "Nothing is more annoying than this, not even Joe." "Seriously, what the f..."
🤣🤣🤣
Sorry, Joe. For some reason that exchange cracked me up this morning.
Thanks for all your hard work over these years, guys.
Joe, you have good taste! A Link to the Past is also my favorite Zelda game of all time. Not sure if you've played it, but they actually have a Randomizer for the game and it's FANTASTIC! It breathes new life into the game and makes it a whole lot more fun! You absolutely should check it out sometime!
I love this, saving it to watch it this weekend while playing EarthBound in my Snes. Great content, I'm so happy I recently discovered this amazing YT chanel.
P pp
This is like nostalgic comfort food for my brain.
299Ks! Awesome! Almost 300, let's have a grind-fest when you're there. Favourite SNES -game: Chrono Trigger! I am downing a few beers watching Joe and Dave, two of my favourite UA-camrs. Keep on grinding, guys!
I stood in line at my local Walmart (in Las Vegas New Mexico) for 5 hours, to get the Original Xbox on Launch day, I got Halo and NFL Fever. Such a cool console and great memories.
Dixies Double DONG trouble... I still wonder if that was ever intentional.
Where I live, the last time Dixie had double dong trouble she ended up with two nephews and two sons on the same day from different fathers, both her brothers.
@@12ealDealOfficial Ahahahahaha 😂😂😂
After watching these two for a decade, it's clear that it was, absolutely, intentional.
"With the backlight, the screen was almost visible." Solid material... fun!
I still hold the SNES as my favorite amongst all consoles. It held a good library of games.
I love the SNES.. One of my favorite Consoles.. The Switch is my favorite Console of All time..
Great topic John, very informative. Can’t wait to see more comparison videos, a clever idea, love it 👍👍
The music in Pilotwings is one of those magic potions that instantly transports me back to 1995. Nostalgia is a helluva drug...
Can we get a “playing with snacks” thanksgiving episode? There’s gotta be a retro game with a bird in it.
*duck hunt*
@@kurbii5216 NewZealand story
This brought back some memories. I had a Toshiba msx 1 back in the 80s. But in the UK most games were on tape instead of cartridge, had a lot of fun with it and wish I still had it as it was the first computer I had (alongside a oric), so have fond memories of it, though I don't recall most of the games showcased here, perhaps we got a very different collection?
Interesting point about Microsoft's investment in the msx, they wrote the basic on every system and also supplied the basic for a number of other systems including apple 2 and others. They also made addon boards for the apple 2 back then as well.
Dixie's Double Dong Trouble...that's the first time I caught that and I've seen that episode a hundred times 😆
Actraiser music at the beginning brings back so many memories. Great game
Seeing all those consoles at the intro made me jealous ... and then I remembered I have 60,000 ROMs of every game ever on my Pi4.
The titular crunching of consoles!
And Dave was right ...it was the best episode ever!
what ever dude
i would drop you with ease smart man
give me your location boy
Interesting fact: Coke does give you those abilities in real life and yes there will be many obstacles along the way attempting to stop you from acquiring it or enjoying it.
Damn I know
I remember having my first job when I was 16 working for galt Parks and recreation department and I bought the Sega game gear with the TV tuner that big magnifier thing and the big battery and it came with the case and I bought about 16 games with it and then the rest of the money I spent on clothes making $4.25 an hour I'm 43 now
Even after all of these year that end skit about trying to carry The xbox and The Duke still cracks me up.
I especially like the sound effect of the driver shitting himself when you wreck. Now that is what the snes was made for lol.
I Never Noticed Mario Punching Yoshi's Head To Make His Tongue Come Out. After All Theses Years
yesssssss! been waiting for this! You're the man, Joe
I always love Joe's system breakdowns
Loved the "hacking" part in The Matrix game. Good memories with that.
console crunch videos are solid gold!
"Did you just say tits?"..lmao...great stuff as usual..game sack still the best gaming channel..also the end skits are always hilarious..
The “Super Nintendo” is where gaming really start for me.I still Loved “Donkey Kong Country 2”so much for the look, the diverse gameplay and that Music.(Still got it on my “Wiiu”)
I love the black metal playing at the end of the Analogue NT segment.
HAILZ BE VNTO GRIMSACK
"Am I evil?" Haha man I miss Dave.
God rest his soul.
@@Kevin-jb2pv he died? Tf no way
@@DJVolte no wtf. Why does a dude have to die to get a little R&R these days? Jeez.
I played a bunch of MSX games at Game Galaxy in Smyrna, TN, just south of Nashville. That place is awesome, they have an Xbox up front with an emulator disc that the guy who works there made, that has pretty much every retro console on it, including the MSX and X68000.
To your ability to control sound.......ROCK ON!!!!! Keep it up with the great content!
Holy shit! Weekday retrosack!
The consoles wrestling...😂 Need I say more?
I could not stop laughing. That shit is funny AF JOE!!
Tickle the Sack with the thumbs up button!!
GAMESACK RULES!!
I laughed so hard at the Xbox post credit scene that I made the hole where my wisdom tooth used to be hurt like hell. 10 out 10 stars, highly recommend.
Long live gamesack💪
Let's not forget about the great music this channel has
I like that Axelay music at the end of the video :)
In the Analogue NT Mini section they talk about the fact the company is planning adapters for other systems. By now they have adapters for cartridges for the Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Atari Lynx and Turbo Grafx16. Systems now go for $220,- Adapters go for $30,-
Will this crunch have Dave on it too?? :/ you do an amazing job Joe I just miss the good ol days when you were both here!
I loved Riddick and Manhunt. I almost forgot the warriors came out to play.
Had the net been fully around in the 16 bit era it would have been the bloodiest console war of all time FAR surpassing anything from Sony vs. Microsoft.
Man I miss Dave.... Wasn't he supposed to do a guest appearance here & there still? Where has he been? Can't believe he would just abandon the show altogether like that... C'mon Dave, come back to us!
Keep up the good work thanks guys
Perfect for a 12 hr shift!
Love this channel.
Subscribed just for the fact that you included some of my favorite games in my childhood warriors and mx vs ATV are amazing
AND red dead revolver legendary
Sky Blazer, and Terranigma were two of my favorite SNES games
I'm going to start with, "Pilot Wings" kicked ass. 🙂
I will continue with, Actraiser 1 and 2 were awesome.
The gliding in part 2 worked well. It served it's purpose. 🙂
They were both excellent but difficult games that I haven't seen the ending for...
I miss you having a co-host to bounce things off of.. jokes and such..
I know right. You would think Joe would have more than one friend..
I had the Game Gear back in the day with the viewing expanding the screen so you can actually see it
Its taken me over 20 years to finally know why the cartridges looked like that!!! Nobody ever talks about the cartridge lock, I have a couple games with that design and the rest have the other design
GameSack really feels like a show that would be on late night on G4 or TechTV
LOL... 30 minutes in I realized this was a 3 and a half hour video! WOW.
I like to play this as I sleep you guys console crunch and AVGN seasons you both rock GREENDOG
Best and funniest episode of the year..
this is a great show
game sack is the best.
Oh my god joes face AT 2:08:40 😅 made my Day 😂😂😂😂
Nice Devastator and Predaking cameo towards the end.
for secret of mana, the problem is that you're not playing with friends, this one uses the multi-tap for a multiplayer rpg where you can play as any of the characters at the same time. that's what makes it good.
This guys are as dorkey as they get and I love it.
After 30 years later to this year I still have a working Super Nintendo. Not clean but it still works that's good hardware.
Looked it up and now I'm a member of American Vacuum Society AVS
great ep
Wait, it's been 4 years since the snes episode? Feels like yesterday
RE: the 2016 SNES episode, I think there are enough games left out of the SNES overview to do a part 2. I remember spending entire summers engrossed in KOEI's simulation and strategy games, and it even got a port of an Amiga game called Utopia, which was like a Sim City x RTS. Of course there were also lots of RPGs and multiplats to cover.
My favorite game for the Xbox was Man Hunt. It's such an injustice that nobody ever talks about this work of art. 22It was basically the creepiest "cat and mouse" game ever created. Man it was tense. It really sucked you in and made your butt pucker up while you were hiding as gangs hunted you down. I'd give anything for a remake.
Freedom Fighters was a total game changer when it first came out. There was absolutely nothing like it. The story and atmosphere was incredible. It was the first game that introduced me to a story I wanted to learn more about. You started a revolution by recruiting people that you could actually command. Nothing like this had ever been done before. Admittedly, the graphics was kind of disappointing, but the gameplay made up for it
51:10 actually it was bundled in with Assualt on Dark Athena. For pc, xbox 360, and ps3
Love game sack. I think I have almost watched every episode. Any recommendations of similar content? Have to be at least half as cool as Joe and Dave.
Retro Bird is a good one.
Yes he is. I like retro bird too
I love crimson skies for the original Xbox great fun campaign with great graphics even for today, the multiplayer was so freakin fun!
Hey man keep it up. I love your content.
Red Dead revolver was awesome! I mastered that game like I did Path the neo
