The PS1 era of Squaresoft is really the peak of creativity and risk taking within the company. It is also amazing that with all of that experimentation that most of the games are quite fun.
@@lutzaby1997 SquareEnix is a company that doesn't try to innovate anymore. Even Final Fantasy is a generic action game. Kingdom Hearts, Valkyrie Profile, etc... all generic action games. It would be one thing if SquareEnix knew how to make good action games, but they make the most middle of the road games that for the most part are painfully easy.
@@rdrouynriv All of the veterans left of got pozzed. Nomura was never meant to be so high up in the company for example, but he did because he was one of the few who stuck around and played ball with the money people. Both Sony and Square are too tied up in appealing to western interests now and have too many deals with western capital and western brands, even working with western devs. thats how you end up with crap like forespoken or the latest flops from Square enix. The next dragon quest will be a generic action game too btw, they already announced it.
I agree, what you state can possibly be also true for the entirety of the 5th gen (or the 90's decade as a whole) and up to the mid '00s. Not only Square, but the medium itself felt this way, right?
and now all they do is make unneeded remakes and fart out sequels to their franchises that are chasing trends that are overdone in the west. What a husk of a company they are now
I lived through these days and it's pretty awesome to see all these games laid out in chronological order. It really helps to clarify and contextualize just how wild and experimental the PS1 era was. Sadly, I doubt we'll ever have that kind of "wild frontier" feel again. The industry has calcified into something much more mercenary and calculated in recent years. I still love a lot of modern games, but I truly miss being able to buy a game based on the publisher and be confident that it was going to be quality.
I always reading video game magazines around that time and was pretty familiar with a lot of these except some of the Japan only ones. Learning about them didn't seem like work to me
@@PlasmaSnake369 Capcom comes pretty close, though they've pretty much dominated nearly every generation. Square gets the edge because they released more new IPs and more epics at near rapid succession.
I think if you spread out the entirity of Capcom and Konami's work they were incredibly busy on the PS1. Definitely both in with a shout at being the most prolific.
really shows how down game devs have gone and are nowhere close to what they once were. Nowadays innovation is coming from Indie makers like wtf is that, it was unheard of for in the 90s and 2000's indie devs. Man they made so many good games during the ps1 era Im disappointed I didnt try out so many of these gems in my magical youth days.
They -Had the largest budgets in the industry -Had all the best artists and talent -Had technology literally no other developer in the world even had access too, like the computers they got from Industrial light and magic - Were not an american company. Japanese are the only good ones at making games and this was the peak of japanese gaming Then the 00s came and the dark age of western devs saturating the market with garbage via monopolies began
I was wondering why there weren’t any new videos in a while, but goddamn this is the best possible thing that could’ve emerged from such a long break in content. Great work Sean
You are a god-damn treasure, and more people need to follow you. You have such an excellent style, it really lets your personality and attention to detail shine. I make a point to wear your TWWP shirt because someone always asks about it and I get to introduce you to them. Keep it up man, I can see you sitting alongside DF Retro and Danny O'Dwyer's work as top-teir gaming content. I have youtube premium which helps contribute (or so I'm told), so I don't also subscribe to patrons as a rule. However, given your continued excellence and dedication I'll be signing up to yours. Sorry for the long comment. :D Love from Australia. Go raibh maith agat.
James you beautiful and kind maniac! This is too much honestly. Thank you so much for the kind words and support, it means the world. Go raibh maith agat as do chineáltas!
It really is incredible, this video must have taken forever, deserves a million hits!! This was the dream era, for me this is still the legendary era where 'it all happened' so to speak.
@Clancy I got a large in in the "classic" style. I've bought a few shirts from them and they're pretty good. Neck is a little tight, but a different style might fix that. Not sure if the shirts we get in Aus are made by the same people as overseas, but the patterns have lasted a lot of washes and low heat tumble drying. Only problem I've found is that the stitching on the bottom hem of the shirt can come loose, but it hasn't really bothered me.
Chrono Cross was my first video game. My grandmother was a huge gamer and loved JRPGs, and she used to sit me on her lap and let me play it while she read the text for me. That opening captured my imagination in ways I'll never get over. RIP nan, still miss you.
Fade in on a closed book illuminated by a candle as gentle guitar plays. The book opens with a chime, and- "What was the start of all this?" Cross is my first and favorite RPG, and nothing's come close since. Glad you had that relationship with your nan, my ma is a big reader but nearly a Luddite. Can't even work a Kindle. Have a great day.
I recently played through Parasite Eve for the first time, and man that game still holds up surprisingly well. Its crazy how some devs were able to sqeeze so much out of the PS1.
it was my favorite series in PSX, i wanted it to be remake so bad or at least continue the series in the new engine, but unfortunately Square might not make it...
parasite eve, xenogears and dino crisis are three games i would love to see in remake form. Sadly it won't happen or wouldn't be handled with care, Xenogears most likely is outright impossible because of licensing issues and Xenosaga existing. They have never even re-release Xenogears in any way for any platform, there's no way of playing it currently other than on psx or emulating.
I owe Squaresoft a large part of my childhood happiness. During the 90s everything Squaresoft touched turns to gold! Thanks for some of the best RPGs of all time! (FFIX is my favorite game)
Damn dude, I can't imagine how long it takes to make these "EVERY _____ PS1 Game" videos must take, but there's so much of your amazing writing and humor comes through them. Keep up the good work my man!
Fun fact: Dewprism was actually made as a spiritual successor to Brave Fencer Musashi (before Samurai Legend). The lead designer even put some easter eggs in there related to Musashi's armor pieces which were actually just junk. Dewprism was also supposed to get its own Manga series but instead they ended up going with Negima.
I love how you actually include more than one moment of gameplay WITH the full audio included; mfers be talking about the sound fx and music then never play so much as a clip -___-
I had around 200 hours on my first FF7 playthrough with many, many hours of grinding to max all materia and kill the Weapons. You can imagine how many times I listened to the battle theme. I WAS NEVER TIRED OF IT. One of the best soundtrack ever composed in ANY media.
Yes!! That's my evening sorted! Thanks for all the content Sean, please know that everyone watching this channel massively appreciates your efforts and is behind you all the way!
FF7 was a game changer in so many ways. The way they not only used full motion video, but had the game loading the next part in the background while you watched it for virtually no loading screens. That was the game where you knew, PlayStation was different. It was such a good, as you say "Tree-D" game.
SaGa Frontier 2 has my favorite art style and soundtrack from any video game. The intersecting story of Gustave XIII and Will Knights is so well done and intriguing, as well as the mystery of the egg throughout the mid-end game. Also my sentiments exactly with ff2. i love that strange, strange video game
So happy to see you praise Legend of Mana, Threads of Fate and Chrono Cross. These were the games that I played the most on my PS1. Might boot them up sometimes for some nostalgia.
Seriously, from a comedy metal band that has a DEEP love for Squaresoft on the PSX this video was AMAZING and so fun to watch! Thank you for all you do and we're sharing this around as much as we can!
AMAZING VIDEO! Love this so much. You did such a great job of putting these games in order and giving them the perfect amount of exposure. Racing Lagoon ftw.
OH MANNN! SEAN SEANSON DID IT! THATS IT, YOU’RE GONNA BLOW UP! YOU’RE MY FAVORITE YTBER, DO NOT COMPROMISE AND DO NOT SETTLE! DO NOT FORGET WHY YOU MAKE VIDEOS AND WHO YOU ARE. Your content really impacted me and my life and I’m so thankful for it. You deserve to accomplish all your personal goals and wishes. I just foresee you blowing up after this video, let’s go!
Genuinely the best long-form breakdown of a group of games I've ever seen on youtube. Doesn't hurt that it covers the greatest run from any dev in videogame history. You spend the exact right amount of time on each game, just enough to make me want to revisit or in some cases try them for the first time. Can't believe I'd never heard of Aques! Excellent stuff, deserves way more views.
I had completely forgotten about how STELLAR that Saga Frontier 2 battle theme was, what a shock to the senses to hear it again!! TY for this great vid Sean!!
To me, and nostalgia aside, this was the best age of video games, and always warms my heart comeback to it for a while. Thanks a lot for this amazing and crazy video, there’s not high enough praise for your work and dedication!
NES, SNES, and PS1 are the golden era of gaming and the happiest time of my life, I don't have 3 hours right now but I'm going to give this a watch at some point. The PS1 changed my life, and made me realize what a game could be. It's sad that my parents refused to let me pursue game design, but that's a story for another day. Maybe this video will help me remember what could have been. To quote Papa Jeff, don't just see the world for what it is, dare to dream about what it could be.
The Brave Fencer Musashi soundtrack is fantastic, and in context it's even better. It's super cool how leitmotifs weave their way into your brain over the course of the game, so that by the time you reach the final dungeon's gauntlet of enemies between the last few bosses, when the BGM (appropriately titled "Midair Giant Playground Battle") kicks in the phrase of the main theme that's been present since the first playable section, it feels triumphant and totally earned. Tsuyoshi Sekito still works with Square, regularly contributing to the Kingdom Hearts series; listening to Black Powder from BbS side-by-side with Musashi, it's funny how his characteristic style is still present even with higher fidelity samples - you can almost be sure a song is his by the use of sleigh bells as a flourish when some other instruments drop out for a phrase. I'm not smart enough about music to put it into words, but he has a style, and it's very good. What's curious to me is that one of the illustrators for the game, Koji Matsuoka (illustrator alongside Tetsuya Nomura - looking through the key art, it's pretty easy to tell which were done by Nomura, so the rest are presumably Matsuoka, and it seems like he might have also been character designer and illustrated the in-game cut-in pictures when you absorb enemy powers), seems to have disappeared entirely out of the industry. He illustrated for Musashi, some PC-98 games, and seemingly nothing else since. If I'm wrong about this, and he's still out there, please let me know. The Chocobo subseries is great, and I sort of hope they take another crack at it since the switch port of the wii sequel seems to not have made a huge impact, but who knows.
@@HollowRickI assume the main reason the NA sales were decent, and part of the reason I bought it, was that it came with a Final Fantasy VIII demo disc.
The best time to be a gamer was under SQUARESOFT'S reign. They were absolutely unstoppable delivering masterpiece after masterpiece. Good old times. Awesome video!
Threads of Fate was one of my favorite games as a kid!! I was disappointed to grow up and find out no ones has played it, but it’s seriously a complete package. I feel like it was the precursor to Kingdom Hearts 1 in a lot of ways, it was definitely a creative and very unique title
Same!! I felt like I was the only one super loving it since other kids were all talking about FF and no one seemed to know about ToF/Dewprism, and I kept hoping for a sequel since the ending hinted at the possibility of one so kid me was left very disappointed when it didn't come :( Mint is still one of my favorite game heroines, I even cosplayed her one time, even if nobody knows her. The game is just a complete package of action, fun, comedy (god bless Duke our star) but also knew when to be serious, and it's a shame it didn't get much love.
Man, i will never be able to put into words how amazing your work is. From the editing from the sheer passion of researching stuff like this. These videos are so fascinating and make me feel so happy to live in a world where video games exist.
I finally managed to find the time to watch this. Had the tab open for days before I could actually sit down and finish it. Honestly, what an amazing video. Thank you for putting together this compilation; you really did an excellent job summarizing a whole bunch, and I mean a whole bunch, of my absolute favorite games. I can imagine it must have been tough to hold back at disc one more than once haha.
These comprehensive dives do a fantastic job of showing me games I've never heard of. The one off random genre games that sneak in are always interesting.
I really fell off games heavily around 2009, 2010.. when my american friend introduced me to Saga Frontier and I got heavily into Saga, it really reignited my interest in games again. Kawazu is brilliant. I was really annoyed Europe didn't get Saga Frontier 1.
You can't imagine how thankful I am for this video. I have been looking for the name of Tobal No.1 for decades! It was one of the first games I played on PS1 when I got it for Christmas 97. I rented from blockbuster and could recall the cover barely. I always searched for dungeon games when searching, but never found it because it was a fighter too! You just solved a 20 year mystery for me! Thanks!!!!!!!
Thanks as always for your hard work and dedication. Without you I would've never played so many retro hits and hidden gems. I hope to stay as passionate as you are.
Here I am, randomly finding this video and watching it to the very end, not knowing if my jaw was dropped because of the genius of Square Soft or that of Sean. Holy cow, was this good.
I really adore the art style in Vagrant Story. If I were ever to make an indie game, I'd try and make it look similar. It's such a nostalgic look, but still looks so wonderfully detailed. Thanks for another massive video! You gave a nice, concise overview of each game. Great work! Always enjoy your videos. They bring me so much joy.🙂
Respect for making a 3 and a half long video on the amazingly varied Square Soft PS1 catalog, there is really no other Publisher/Developer that matches their talent, skill and creativity this era. Seeing all these amazing games in a row really makes me want to go play them, several of these I didn't know much about like Tobal, Bushido Blade, Cyborg, and Racing Lagoon, I need to also give these a try at some point.
Even though I immediately clicked on the video when I saw the name “Squaresoft” shown, I immediately had to give a like the MERE second I heard Tobal No 2’s intro music. Loving this video so far! 🙌
Just as with the Namco video and all of your others, spectacular work! The time and effort you put into these are obvious and lead to some truly great content. We all definitely love it.
This video unlocked a memory deep inside my brain: I played a demo of Threads of Fate in a Sears department store when I was a kid. I never knew the title and no one I ever told about the "game with the ring girl and the kid that turns into monsters" ever knew what I was talking about.
Vagrant Story is a masterpiece! When I played it for the first time as a 17 year old I hated it for the confusing story and dark depressing dungeon crawling. But as I grew up I began to appreciate the music, atmosphere, graphics, art direction, gameplay, crafting, etc. Today it is one of my favorite PS1 games along with Xenogears and FF8.
Man, you have no idea how much this video helped me, I've spent literally years of my life searching for "Tobal No. 1" but never found it because I couldn't remember the name of it, I've played it a lot with my brother when we were kids, awesome video
Another banger video. I love this format: every game gets a fair shot, plus the history, humour, sweet tunes... Simply one of a kind. I'm happy this is performing really well, you deserve it man!
A blast from the past, very nostalgic. Remember playing the Ehrgeiz dungeon crawler, Chocobo Racing and FF6-FF9 so much as a kid. Square really was a big part of my childhood.
Hey man, got here from Vinny's recommendation as other people may have said. At first I just skimmed through and saw it was 3 hours long, told myself "Hey I'll watch it for like 5 minutes and see if this is actually interesting", and you kept me captivated for the entire length of the video with great commentary and fun remarks (also, cat). Now I've got a bunch more games on my bucket list that I'll probably never get to! Hope you make more of these videos, I'll definitely go and watch all of your content after this. Thanks for the great stuff!
3 hours, 31 minutes, 21 seconds! Absolute insanity! Thank you for making such an amazing video! When are you going to do "A Look At EVERY Cryo Interactive Entertainment PS1 Game"? Haha, just kidding...or am I? Kitty spotted at: 1:24:33 and 2:16:53 and 2:23:14
Man, I expected great things on this video but the fact that you loved FFVIII just made this even greater! I loved that game to bitals, even until today!
Thank you Sean for this amazing video. I agree with others in that the quality of production seen here is at the very top. I hope others will get a chance to see your work. Gaming history needs archivists like yourself to help keep a record of the past alive for current generations to enjoy. I look forward to enjoying more of your work, both past projects completed and future projects to come. Thanks again.
I love your editing. Most reviews or just videos in general about games, the voice over says "the music is great, sound effects are amazing" then proceeds to not play any game audio. It's simple but not doing it screams incompetence. Instantly subbed
Thanks for the video! I'm only halfway through but I've been really enjoying it. I'm familiar with many of the games but I've never heard of a good few.
top of the morning from California! this vod is one of my fav of the year. thx a bunch for adding simultaneous quality & quantity to my bucket list. instant sub & look forward to bingewatching here soon
It's crazy to me how often you see the same people working together on a project. Barbara Goodson and Sandy Fox were voice actors both for Brave Fencer Musashi and Disgaea.
This was a phenomenal video! You did such a great job! I work from home 2 days a week, and it was great to get to watch while getting my paperwork on. It most definitely made time fly! Thank you, Sean!
Thanks for watching!

The amount of dedication and care. I'm speechless
Just seeing the extra effort of timestamping each song. You've got me clapping bravo haha.
Literally the best guy on UA-cam
What a husk of a company they are now
nah man, Square's SNES jrpgs are unmatched.
Cant imagine the amount of work that was put into this. This is the quintessence of the Internet, what it was designed for.
Learning about them didn't seem like work to me
This is not
The opening cut scene for FFVIII will always be my favorite, give me the edge my lord!
PS1 nostalgia and nudie pics, thank you America for this grand creation.
Square's PS1 run is one of the greatest runs in gaming history. Dropping banger after banger after banger like it's nothing but easy work.
Yeah when I think about it was there any publisher that a a more prolific PS1 library?
They
-Had the largest budgets in the industry
-Had all the best artists and talent
-Had technology literally no other developer in the world even had access too, like the computers they got from Industrial light and magic
- Were not an american company. Japanese are the only good ones at making games and this was the peak of japanese gaming
Then the 00s came and the dark age of western devs saturating the market with garbage via monopolies began
Love from Australia.
Which tee "style" did you purchase? Whats the quality like? I've bought through redbubble before but the quality wasn't great.
The book opens with a chime, and-
"What was the start of all this?"
Cross is my first and favorite RPG, and nothing's come close since.
Glad you had that relationship with your nan, my ma is a big reader but nearly a Luddite. Can't even work a Kindle.
Have a great day.
You have given me an idea to be like that grandma for future generations
Those moments were probably as special for her as they were for you, she sounds like an amazing grandma
sorry to hear about your nan, she seemed like the coolest grandmother ever.
Still an amazing game, I agree! I think it's well worth going back to play. A remake would just be likely to mess some things up, anyway.
Xenogeors was re-released digitally on the ps3/psp/vita store at least here in the US.
Parasite Eve 1 and 2 live rent free in my head, I have a crush on Aya Brea to this day. The third game is a crime against humanity.
>yeah cool this is nice, on in the background
>like a train in the night my lovely horse reference
>immediately subscribes
The O.G. , the King , the messiah of true PSX youtube content is back and something tells me that this episode might be the best one released yet 😍😍
I owe Squaresoft a large part of my childhood happiness.
During the 90s everything Squaresoft touched turns to gold!
Thanks for some of the best RPGs of all time!
(FFIX is my favorite game)
Good choice. IX is the best IMO.
Definitely one of my favorites. Pretty much 4-12 were all great with an exception or two.
Square hiring Akira Toriyama to do the art for their fighting game was genius.
Keep it up my dude!
Thank you so much, you're too kind!
that's all you could afford to give him man? really?
This video here is Sean’s Oddessy… a true testament to dedicaction… bravo
Thanks, You deserve some money for this 3 hour video, really a great retrospective
Thank you so much, you're too kind!
Damn dude, I can't imagine how long it takes to make these "EVERY _____ PS1 Game" videos must take, but there's so much of your amazing writing and humor comes through them. Keep up the good work my man!
Mad lad actually did it, bravo
Fun fact: Dewprism was actually made as a spiritual successor to Brave Fencer Musashi (before Samurai Legend). The lead designer even put some easter eggs in there related to Musashi's armor pieces which were actually just junk. Dewprism was also supposed to get its own Manga series but instead they ended up going with Negima.
I'd really like a source on that.
Oh my god you're an absolute mad man. I have no words. Just, wow.
Damn - now this is a UA-cam video. I'll be sure to check back in with my thoughts once I've had time to process this beast!
He loves Parasite Eve, Bit dissapointed in 2 and calls FF9 his first and possibly favorite FF. Dude 10/10 perfect video
Sean you madman, always appreciate your dedication in these videos and this must've been an absolute gauntlet to complete. Cheers man.
a three and half hour video from my favorite irishmen and about squaresoft? feeling lucky today!
Seriously, from a comedy metal band that has a DEEP love for Squaresoft on the PSX this video was AMAZING and so fun to watch! Thank you for all you do and we're sharing this around as much as we can!
Much love folks, appreciate the kind words! :)
AMAZING VIDEO! Love this so much. You did such a great job of putting these games in order and giving them the perfect amount of exposure. Racing Lagoon ftw.
Dude your channel is incredibly underrated. You deserve way more subs/views
I just foresee you blowing up after this video, let’s go!
never compromise, never settle! 🙏
I rarely audibly gasp when something pops up in my subfeed. Holy shit Sean.
Brave fencer mushashi flew under radar it's damn shame it never got a European release
All of the soundtracks are amazing D: !
Brave Fencer Musashi needs a full remake with the same charm
Man, growing up with these games, you can’t help but wonder.
“Does SQ ever made a bad music for its games!?”
Much love to your work man.
1 MIL!! CONGRATS SEAN! Well deserved first one, here's to many more🎉
I finally managed to find the time to watch this.
Saw this on my feed today, have never seen your videos or content before and ended up watching the entire thing. Easiest sub of my life.
Holy hell! I'm gonna savor this one. Thanks a bunch for all the effort you put into these videos, Sean!
These comprehensive dives do a fantastic job of showing me games I've never heard of. The one off random genre games that sneak in are always interesting.
Amazing to see another Super Long video from you, I always love seeing these, relaxing and enjoying the nostalgia of the Original Playstation :)
You are the best. Congratulations from Brazil.
Thank you so much friend, you're too kind!
I really fell off games heavily around 2009, 2010.. when my american friend introduced me to Saga Frontier and I got heavily into Saga, it really reignited my interest in games again. Kawazu is brilliant. I was really annoyed Europe didn't get Saga Frontier 1.
thats the power of Saga
Well done ShonShonson 😄 This long video will fix 6 of my lonely breakfasts or dinners.
You're very welcome! :)
Thanks as always for your hard work and dedication. Without you I would've never played so many retro hits and hidden gems. I hope to stay as passionate as you are.
Gimme that 3 hour Sean Seanson video please! 🤤
Good luck! I'd love to see that.
Even as a kid I found it funny that avalanches plan was to plunge the city into darkness with no viable electricity generation alternative in place.
Saving the planet is far more important than having electricity to watch tv and play videogames.
@@UPVideos365Days really juvenile take, without electricity we don't have food or water.
@@Fahrenheit38We do, it's just not convenient
Even though I immediately clicked on the video when I saw the name “Squaresoft” shown, I immediately had to give a like the MERE second I heard Tobal No 2’s intro music. Loving this video so far! 🙌
Just as with the Namco video and all of your others, spectacular work! The time and effort you put into these are obvious and lead to some truly great content. We all definitely love it.
This video unlocked a memory deep inside my brain: I played a demo of Threads of Fate in a Sears department store when I was a kid. I never knew the title and no one I ever told about the "game with the ring girl and the kid that turns into monsters" ever knew what I was talking about.
this will take a few days to get through but i love videos like this
I have absolutely no idea how you don’t have more subs, can’t wait to binge the rest of your videos and see what’s coming next!
Did I chuckle at the same, "It starts right now," bit like I did last time? Yes, yes I did.
You are remarkably hardworking and passionate for putting out this series of videos, you earned a subscriber today
Just yesterday I literally went to your channel hoping you had uploaded something new. Love your videos, especially the long ones! Excited for this!
Another banger video. I love this format: every game gets a fair shot, plus the history, humour, sweet tunes... Simply one of a kind. I'm happy this is performing really well, you deserve it man!
Thorhighheels n Sean Seanson are like...the top tier video game youtubers imo. 👌
The go to's for me too.
Add Grim Beard and we're set
Most def. They both go obscure, it only gets better when you go obscure…
So much nostalgia in one single video! I watched the whole thing today, in my birthday, and it was like a present to me, thank you for the video!
Happy birthday friend, thank you for watching! :)
3.5 hours of Sean content holy f...! This will last me a while, nice!
This is like 30% of my childhood right there.
Appreciate the kind words friend, thanks for watching :)
3 hours, 31 minutes, 21 seconds! Absolute insanity! Thank you for making such an amazing video!
When are you going to do "A Look At EVERY Cryo Interactive Entertainment PS1 Game"? Haha, just kidding...or am I?
Kitty spotted at: 1:24:33 and 2:16:53 and 2:23:14
Great Kitty spotting as always!
Don't worry, Cryo will get their day in the sun eventually ;)
@@SeanSeanson Thank you, always trying my best. :)
Can't wait for your epic Cryo showcase!
Dear god, Einhander, what a masterpiece. Amazing video, once again.
the wave of ecstasy that washed over me upon clicking this and seeing the >3.5 hour runtime. let's gooooooo
3 years later and this video still worked perfectly, thank you 🙏🏻
I love the amount of love you have and show in these videos really brings a smile to my face
"And it starts right now" guy is a wonderful add. Bravo. Great stuff. I love to see it.
It's been my favourite video for years, never fails to make me laugh.
You're great Seanson. Thank you for even more stellar content.
I love your editing. Most reviews or just videos in general about games, the voice over says "the music is great, sound effects are amazing" then proceeds to not play any game audio. It's simple but not doing it screams incompetence. Instantly subbed
This is such a detailed and meaty video, thanks for your incredible effort
Thanks for the video! I'm only halfway through but I've been really enjoying it. I'm familiar with many of the games but I've never heard of a good few.
Yet another solid video. Here's to all the future content to come!
top of the morning from California! this vod is one of my fav of the year. thx a bunch for adding simultaneous quality & quantity to my bucket list. instant sub & look forward to bingewatching here soon
Videos in this style are super useful for me. I'd love to see Konami and Capcom videos in this style.
It's crazy to me how often you see the same people working together on a project. Barbara Goodson and Sandy Fox were voice actors both for Brave Fencer Musashi and Disgaea.
Did not anticipate such a video but wow, looking forward to this tonight!
You just made me want to dig into my old PS1 collection and start replaying some gems. Great video, I loved every second of it!
I only finished 8 of them and played a total of 15. Damn, there's actually a lot I haven't tried yet.
Sean Seanson of the youtube channel Sean Seanson back at it again with another classic Sean Seanson video.
Xenogears, parasite eve 2, Final fantasy 9 and front mission 3 are, what I think, the peak of ps1 magic 🎉❤
That's some bangers to be sure
I love Xenogears ❤
This was a phenomenal video! You did such a great job! I work from home 2 days a week, and it was great to get to watch while getting my paperwork on. It most definitely made time fly! Thank you, Sean!
I love FF7. I remember I mastered all the materia and fight the weapon boss. Get all the weapons and breeding a chocobo to get gold chocobo🥰🥰🥰.
Man, you're my favorite videogame UA-camr right now. Thanks for the great feature-length videos!
Also, I forgot to add that I really appreciate your taste in music! I never realized how much great PS1 music there is before watching your videos
