Rebecca Black was a 13 year old girl who just wanted to have fun doing a song. The first song this studio pitched her was too provocative so she asked them for a different song. THE STUDIO THEN GAVE HER FRIDAY. None of it was her fault! She was a child who just wanted to have fun. Then the internet picked it up and made her life a living hell. Poor kid. But she didn't let it bring her down. She kept smiling. It became her armor. She has my respect.

I remember when i saw Stone Sour in Miami. Someone threw a beer bottle at Saliva's drummer, hitting him in the face and needing stitches. Corey Taylor came out extremely pissed, offering the first person to rat out the culprit backstage passes. Needless to say, he was a lot more nice about it in this video. LOL

I think most people tend to mix up disliking Bieber's music with Bieber's personality. I mean...based offainterviews...he seems like a really nice & caring type guy. It's like when you're in school & you say "I hate that teacher!" are you hating the teacher or the way you're taught by the teacher? There's a huge difference. Corey makes a very valid point here !

He continues to do it because the only thing that matters to him is that he gets everything anyone could want, which is huge mainstream popularity, and most importantly, money. He's financially set for life, so why WOULD he care about "haters"? It's sure as hell not because "he's so passionate about what he does".

@MrAdronScott ooh. well that's what every non-fan of him thinks, and bieber is very conscious about that it can happen to him too. he's even studying other people who was just a fad, aswell as people who've been in the business for a long time, like his mentor usher. I understand how you think, but for his sake I hope everything goes well. I'm not sure, but with twitter existing right now I don't know if maybe it's easier to keep up with his fanbase than it was for the others in the 90's.
