      Embryonic stem cell treatment, vegan fitness of course & a fully activated glandular system each equals 00.00% pain once in shape in particular.
      VEGAN is actually good, drink & shelter solely. It is that simple. Without a fully activated glandular system it will be a process for certain & if out of shape too.

    Guys, chill out and watch the whole video before commenting.
    Corey isn't retiring yet. He's just saying what he wants to do when it happens. However much I don't want him to retire, we're gonna have to get used to the fact that it will happen one day, and it needs to be on his terms.
    Look at Ozzy, and how much he doesn't wanna let his fans down by retiring. Look how much he's strained himself for the fans. We love him for it. We're grateful for it, but on a personal level, my heart hurts for the physical suffering Ozzy has gone through the last few years, and sadly, the quality of his most recent shows have shown it. I want Ozzy at his best in a show, and if him retiring and only doing a show here and there when he's at his current best is what keeps him healthy, then so be it. It also means he gets more time with his family.
    The same applies to Corey when the time comes. I'd rather he be able to chill out in life, watch his kids become who they're gonna become, and hopefully if his legs and feet aren't killing him too badly, he can get on stage and blow us away, as he's always done.

      My brother's in infinite band constellations but mostly just locally and of course has a real job (at a music store, ofc). I get that big bands have maybe lots of tight schedules, lots of time zones etc but is it the total attrition? or is it mostly the drinking and lifestyle? I remember a Mastodon guy saying touring wore him out/killed him, but I also guess some bands like Radiohead kinda manage to live somewhat healthy. Theoretically I see some bands could commute back home 3-4 days a week as they only play weekends and could just show up for soundcheck, give their all 1-3h and rest.
      edit: I realize he touched this, but I thougth these guys were rich enough to kind of have their own chef and jet, at least not do too tight schedules.

    • @joethesheep4675
      @joethesheep4675 7 місяців тому +8

      yeah. A Band is like a family. For good and for worse. Imagine you are on a roadtrip with your entire family for many months straight. I bet lots of families would have a serious falling-out. Bands who' ve been in the business for a while usually have their ways of dealing with that, which usually involves getting distance to the other bandmembers whenever possible. Like successful bands who make enough money will often times rent seperate hotel rooms and not sleep in the bus and somesuch things.
      Like even if all members of the band love each other and dont have huge egos its though. And most bands have at least one guy who is socially difficult, to put it that way.

    • @Day-ZDuke
      @Day-ZDuke 7 місяців тому +7

      No offence, but there’s a big difference between ‘local bands’ and bands like Slipknot.....
      Of course local bands break up / retire mid thirties, the grind just isn’t worth it anymore as they are older,have families, etc, etc.
      For Slipknot, they have the motivation of not only tons of fans, but millions of dollars as well. It’s much easier for them to ‘tough it out’ into older age

    • @PerfectSense77
      @PerfectSense77 6 місяців тому

      Very very different. Most local bands break up for smaller reasons like not being able to find good people or just not taking off. Not because of the road grind - most never even get to that stage.

Like the best friend from school you only see every few years to catch up. Those relationships are maybe even more important, knowing something will always be there even if you dont see it all the time.
      But i understand, you're 12 and only have 1 period of your life to look back on.

    I’m not even musician but things he said about how sleep and food effects you are soo accurate because I had similar situations and if I haven’t taken any energy resources then I’m shittiest version of myself because then everything pisses me off no matter what…
    In my opinion Corey has done everything he possibly can to keep quality music coming from Slipknot, Stone Sour and his single albums in order to not disappoint his fans. I really feel like this man deserves big break considering how he has been going like this for years. I haven’t listened any of his music for months now but I really appreciate effort he puts in his creativity and music knowing that lot of men in his age are having most basic job and when they come home they drink some beer and watch TV meanwhile this man has tours, familiy, business, music to make 24/7.

    I'm in the same boat at 42. No frontal lobe from a crowbar in the frontal lobe, major spine issues from multiple spine surgeries. First broke my spine in the military in the middle east then rebroke it working on an transmission line crew along with a shattered tailbone. Everyday I wake up with the worst headache coming from my spine. Arthritis throughout my body from breaking my spine twice, both legs, both ankles, one arm, both wrists, boxing Fractures in both hands and my whole frontal lobe is dead, no brain activity now. Everyday I consider is this the day I end it.

    Touring is very hard on the body, mentally and physically. My Dad had to travel for work and it was a huge sacrifice he made for all of us. He deserves every day he is retired. He worked hard for us. I never forgot what he gave of himself to provide for us. I totally know what he is talking about. I can't imagine driving/traveling, setting up, testing, rehearsals, the concert, breaking it all back down, packing it up, going to the next venue, and on and on and on, for a year even, is crazy ! I couldn't imagine playing the same song, over and over and over again, it would make me crazy for sure! Then the exhaustion factor, yikes ! I feel for this guy.

    This man, this legend. Still tours as a lead singer of 2 bands, one being Slipknot of course. Known for crazy live shows. He also has his own solo thing going now. Which needless to say he gives over 100 percent in his shows. He writes, he has his family, he has his bandmates that are family plus his fans that he treats like family. He has given so much to my life that I wish I could thank him personally for. If he were to say it's time for me to take a break, retire, whatever. The best I will ever be able to give him back, is my respect, love, and admiration for everything he has done ( which he already has) and be happy for him to enjoy his life....... Tho let's face it, he still can't sit still.

    Give this man all the credit he deserves plus more. Corey is an absolute legend and will be remembered forever. I want him to do what he loves and go after his passion but his art is out there for people to forever appreciate. I'd love to see a podcast from him to inspire a future generation, give insight to his mind and the things that allowed him to bring light into dark situations for so many. He looks incredible for 50 and saying "i'm not 35 anymore" hits hard. I want a podcast from him, i want to hear about what he does to take care of himself, what tour life was like, he could bring on some absolutely incredible guests to add insight on top of him, just dive more into his mind. I think it's rare that someone with his talent and success can sustain a career for so long and still be performing at a high level. I'm sure there were crazy times but his own podcast could bring some out that out. I see it being wildly successful and even introducing him to audiences that were otherwise disinterested in the image of slipknot but could certainly connect on a more personal level yet never gave them a chance or was able to understand message/intent

There’s NO WAY anyone can go on feeling the way Corey felt when he wrote songs like ‘Disasterpiece’ or ‘Everything Ends’ and live an emotionally and psychologically and relationally healthy life.
