Great vid as always Harry. A manual F355 or 550 are peak Ferrari for me. Not as fragile as the early stuff, more than quick enough for the road, you feel so connected and the noise of the F355 is the best ever. Buy one while they're sub £100k. It won't be for long.

I remember shortly after graduating from medical school in 1971 a colleague drove his brother's Dino into the hospital car park. It was like something from another planet - unlike any car I had ever seen. And God hasn't it aged well.
Great post from Harry as usual! Almost talking himself into buying a 365BB to get it painted back to the original blue, would be a great project for his collection!
Great presentation especially nice to see the Veroresina! I especially like the 14" wheels with the big sidewalls, the story I am on my toes for is: How is the Fulvia doing?

Another great Harry Video, always enjoy his Silverstone auction previews…the man has a lot of knowledge….especially in this vid as he has seemingly owned half of the models here and probably driven most of the cars here.

I love the delicacy of a 246 although my lottery win car would be a 365gtb4 daytona. Blame the cover test in Car magazine.😅🤔
Is it just me, or Ferraris look much better in any color that isn't red? It's just so refreshing to see! That blue on the 456 was known as "Blue Swaters," if I remember well, from the name of Ferrari's Belgian importer.
Before I drink a Gin Tonic and enjoy this video: Love Benz, BMW, Jag, Aston, Land Rover and Exots like McLaren or Koenigsegg but Ferrari is definitely something special. Fantastic company. My top 10: 250 SWB, 365 Daytona, F40, Testarossa, LaFerrari, 512 BB, 288 GTO, 458 Speciale, 599 GTO and 355.
I attended the Auction yesterday. The first lot was the 328 GTS & didn’t reach it’s lowest estimate & was unsold. The overall feeling was of lower prices & some bargains compared to recent higher prices seen. The F12 TdF went for £610k which was cheap. These have been up to £1m then fallen back to much less before a bounce back, so this price is ok but kept for a few years will show a profit, I think!
Thanks Harry. A holiday treat. Have to say though I am not a Ferrari follower as my reference will always be for Aston Martin. I can see why people go mad over them, I guess at the end of the day it's all down to personal preference.
Literally just drove home down Sheikh Zayed Road Dubai and was driving next to a mint Testarossa identical to the one behind you in the opening of your video.
Jesus Harry. I like Ferraris and I like farming. You keep knocking it out of the park. Good looking barley and a good looking TDF. What's not to like?!
So much loveliness here. Obviously the Italia, the Testarossa, the 365 BBs are wonderful obviously, the 430 is hugely underrated and drives perfectly according to contemporary reviews, the 550 Maranello has roll cage, so maybe not the best example, but I think it might just be the greatest car of all time. The yellow Dino is just the most gorgeous thing ever, and that tdf....*drool*
Dino is one of the prettiest cars ever, in the world. And a 458 Italia still my dream car. However, let’s sights on the California for now, lol, ker-ching!
I’m lucky enough to have some Ferraris. I own a chairs and flares 74 Dino and I have to respectfully disagree on the commentary in the video. The driving experience **is**incredible-they don’t just look great. It’s light and still feels fast. It’s hot on warm days, but other than that I have zero negative to say. These cars drives and sounds incredible.
In the past I never really cared for the 430, esp after the 458 came out and blew everyone's mind. But that blue/tan with silver rims is just pure class. Maybe one of the most tasteful Ferrari's I've seen.
It’d be interesting to compare sold prices to guide prices - auctioneers typically set guide prices low to tempt people in. I was after a certain item at an auction the other day, guided at £400-£600, it sold for £2k. I follow property auctions and it’s very rare for anything to sell at anywhere close to the guide price, double it wouldn’t be far from the mark.
I missed the first seven, but saw the rest from Lot 708 onwards. One hammered over its estimate (the California), the second and third Dinos made theirs, and the rest all either failed to sell or hammered below their low estimates. These latter ones sold because their vendors substantially reduced the reserve during the bidding. A couple of examples: the Vetroresina opened at 102k (EST 125-140k) and went no higher, failing to sell, and Lot 717, the 328 GTS with just 2670 miles from new, was stuck at 74k (EST 90 - 110k) and then it was announced it was on sale at that price, whereupon it carried on a little further to hammer at 77.5k. In my view the classic car bubble is now steadily deflating as interest rates rise and the future for ICE cars looks increasingly precarious.
Harry is the man we would all want at our side when attending a car auction! Love hearing him share his knowledge …

The 328 is art on wheels. The 360 is ungainly. 328 is more fun to drive as well and the last truly analog Ferrari ever built. No question, 328!
