Honestly, Harry, but the way you present this, the enthusiasm, the love for the subject, the knowledge.. It’s utterly, utterly brilliant! Not only has my food gone cold because I completely forgot to eat it, but I’ve just for some 30 minutes been utterly convinced that you were talking directly to me and no one else. Just brilliant. They should do more car auctions. Just for the sake of you and these videos.
Knowing we all love you Harry and with the greatest of respect, on recent form, the words “doesn’t look like it has too much rust to me” should perhaps be viewed with a little caution 😂 great content as always👍
I think I can say that most of us would not mind if these car auction vids were 2-3 hours long. I know I'd watch it all. Thanks for the great vid Harry.

Harry I’ve just come home a few hour ago from a small op, hernia repair, and your vids ( and my wife’s attention I have to say) is helping my recovery massively!

The joy I felt with the surprise notification of this video, i´d admit I was enjoying the Testarosse Sahara video! I love to dream while Harry walks us through the portefolio!
Fabulous review Harry, some real magic memories with lots of these stunning cars! Cheers. The Merc 600SL has to be a real star buy at or near estimate!
Last night I was green from being sick and tonight I’m green with envy of the new owners of all those fantastic classics, if only I had ten million pounds to spend I’d have pretty much every car you looked at Harry, looking forward to Sunday 👍🏻
That “Evo 6” , is actually an Evo 7 RS, and is a one of one, commissioned by Ralliart. It was around 100k, new, and is far, far rarer than a lot of the rally exotica in that auction.Certainly worth more of your attention than the Litchfield spec c, nice car though it is! 2.2 Tomei engine, with many, many upgraded parts, running around 450 hp, with plenty scope for more. Its just been re commissioned and freshly painted. Evo magazine tested it and raved about it....I’m surprised you don’t remember it!
I'm so glad I read the comments. I would never ever know, that Evo was a limited run model, done by Ralliart, as I thought to myself that this car have a mixed up bumpers, odd wheels and a rollcage, so it must have been on a low budget maintain with poor history, so Harry didn't stop by for a second, to say a word about this vehicle. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
GarciaCompany You are welcome! Im a member of the mitsubishi lancer register, owning a couple of RS models myself. Its one, or was one, of our members cars. The previous owner had spent another 30K, on top of the list price, adding a horrendous veilside bodykit, getting a full respray in white, and getting the cage professionally installed, along with the best suspension available. Then it was hardly used and many, many years later came up for sale. Then the last owner took off the bodykit and got it sprayed in the original colours and had a full re commissioning carried out. Those colours represent the Evo 5 colours, that were used on the Group A Evo 5 rally car, that was campaigned at the time the car was made. Incidentally, the car sold for just over 60k, so a bit of a bargain for something so rare.
These videos are so enjoyable, nice to get a feel for where values are, nice to see some lovely cars presented so passionately regardless of the value.
I really like these videos Harry. Very chilled walk around cars I'd otherwise never get to see, with just enough information so I learn a little something about each one.
Thanks for the preview, Harry. I'm heading over to the show Friday with my Dad. We always go to the show and it's been a long wait! Love the videos, always great content. Kevin.
Great video as usual Harry. Jensen geek here and notice that the Jensen in the auction is not an FF as mentioned but an Interceptor. FF are distinguishable by their longer bonnets and the longer front wings have two grills rather than just the one of the Interceptor. My father had a Mk IV FF built in West Bromwich in the late 1980's. The donor car was a Mk II and to make it Mk IV it had a new engine and complete rebuild inside and out. It was white with blue leather and only about 20000 miles when sold in 1996.
When he was talking about that brown Audi and red BMW M5 I was thinking - wow, that lovely green Bentley Continental GT would be soooo nice. Future Classic
Great video as always. To bad I just bought a car. Got me a Mercedes SL55 AMG. 500 horses for less than a new Panda. You should do a test drive on one of those, Harry. Wickedly fast and a fantastic engine noise.
I know of an un-used 2016 Heritage, 4 seat Defender HUE in my mates garage under a soft snug cover with only delivery miles bought for list @ 35k.. It will be in one of these auctions in ten years time as nice little earner. The new car smell is still like the day we collected it. Thanks Harry.

Thanks for that Harry. I saw my old GTi convertible is up for sale (C999PDP) in the auction. I loved that car. I checked out the auction listing. It seems like it’s been around the clock as it’s showing 46k and I sold it with 90k on it in 1991 (to a dealer in Scarborough). I live in Australia now but I’d love to have it back. Just maybe not this time.
I recognize bike exhibit 151 - that's a Yamaha DS7! I own the one belonging to my late grandfather whom I never met...but I've been told I'm a lot like him. I keep it stock in his memory and ride it a couple times a week during the warm season! Starts on the third kick every spring :)
Silverstone auction videos are always great, didn't expect to see a spec c limited like mine! very rare and special bit of kit so be interesting to check what it made.
Love those fast Fords, especially the Capri, my first car as an 18yr old in 1978 and it had to be a 3litre! I really wanted a Mk1 GXL but they were quite scarce even back then so I ended up with a '75 Mk2 3000GT, insured in my Dad's name with me as a second driver, as you could do back then. When you think what they cost new and what good examples fetch now it's crazy.
I visited Bowler a few years back and they had that Spectre car in. Was heavily damaged on the left side if I remember correctly!! It was a bit of a mess with body parts shoved in the cabin!!
