bad karma car - killed it's co-driver - I saw one later, a road going version that had a much less special engine - obviously a replacement lump ........ ?
Harry these videos are among my favorite automotive content, period. I think your fans would love it if you called Iain Tyrrell in for one of these... maybe with a little more time to walk around, peruse, and of course discuss the cars! Thanks for another mega video.
I love Harry's auction reviews, a mine of real information rather than someone just reading Wikipedia articles. Nice to see a B reg Mini, my first car back in 1976 was a 1964 Mini Cooper (BRS 579B) purchased for £45. It went to/fro Leeds London for 18 months complete with fibreglass front end after the front wings rusted away. #goodolddays
What another Silverstone candyland of phenomenal vehicles; thanks to Harry for not cutting the video too short. Harry's comments about the Bricklin (33:00) caused me to very nearly spit out my coffee. "I've never seen one before, not sure if I actually want to see one again either" and "It's very rare, fortunately". Back in NPR's 'Car Talk' days, it'd be referred to as "Bud Tugly".
Thanks Harry. I raced a 308gt4 for several years and they were a nice handling car with the slightly longer wheel base. And you're dead right about the 348, I have an original 348 challenge as my road car, and it's a fabulous driving car. That engine is sublime. Like your bikes you have in the sale. Farm snd garage channels are great, thanks.
Have watched several of Harrys Videos as a waiting Lotus Emira customer. His coverage of Silverstone auctions made me realise his wealth of knowledge and he's easy to listen to. Makes a change to listen to dialogue without the word 'like' pointlessly used 45 times a minute. Keep it coming Harry!
Well done harry and your excellent cameraman !!! Totally BRILLIANT FACTUAL ENTERTAINING content as usual. Love these special feature auctions with such a great different selection of cars and bikes . I could watch this for hours and hours. Thank you so much for doing these videos . 10/10 as always
I love these auction videos. The 308 GT4 has always been one of my favorite V8 Ferraris and it's heartening to see they're still somewhat affordable for now...That TR4 GTR was really interesting...awesome auction with amazing cars and you always have so much inside information!
Another great video thank you Harry. But I always find it strange and rather heartbreaking that people do stuff like buy that 2014 R8 and only put 400 miles on it in 8 years. If I were fortunate enough to be able to afford such a thing, I'd be driving it at available opportunity, just as I do with my M3 and did with my RS4 before that.
I suspect some folks just think of them in terms of legacy - although there will be some cars that life just got in the way of - like the XJS that never got registered. Whichever - it's fabulous that they still exist!
"I've a set of Barry Sheene leathers in my garage" says Harry. Can't help but wonder why we love you so much Harry and, your love of motoring 'stuff'. What a man. Twice.
These Auction Previews are an instant like from me the minute I see them uploaded! Always terrific to see the cars and hear your commentary. Wish the video was an hour longer!
Thanks Harry. Watched the auction all the way from Brisbane Australia. The black XJS with 100 miles on would have been my pick of the auction. Was lucky enough to drive one many years ago when i lived in the Uk. Thanks for letting us all know the auction was on .
Nothing screams ‘A Recession is Looming’ more than a car auction that’s rammed full of toys. People are getting rid of anything and everything they’ve deemed unnecessary.
Especially the extremely low mileage examples, you're right... Those have never been used and are purely investment objects. A sign as clear as day to see so many offered.
these auctions happen on a regular basis and have been for years - Harry has covered lots of them. 10 cars more than normal is hardly the signs of a recession
Two of the cars from Top Gear's £10k supercar challenge and they haven't actually gone up all that much... And those are nice ones, the Merak is even an actual SS. Good buys.
What a fantastic selection and range of cars and bikes. I think Harry left a trail of saliva on his tour!😂 11:40 Alfa Romeo Mondial 8, isn't that an Alfa Montreal? It's just crazy how some of the Fords you used to see everyday and not really give a second glance are now commanding exotic prices. I wishI I'd kept my 1975 Capri 3000GT I bought in '78. Then again, if I had kept it it'd probably have done 200k+ miles and be completely knackered!😂
Thanks, Harry. Love the orange Montreal, GTR4 Dove, and the blue 2600 Sprint. I wish you had stopped by the white XK120, but understandable with the sheer amount of cars there. Please never stop making these videos.👍
Your depth of knowledge about these cars is amazing. I like your differing opinions with the Smoking Tire , Autogefuhl and Savage Geese. They know of you and respect your input.
That Alfa 4C looks great. I've always loved the way they looked and thought it would be a perfect car to get and tweak to make it better. Any collection of Porsches never fails to make me weak in the knees. The Rover SD1 we never got in the US but I've always liked them as well. That gold late 70s Trans Am is a great looking car but absolutely TERRIBLE to drive. If there has ever been a car that almost HAS TO BE a restomod with new suspension, engine, transmission, brakes, and everything, it is certainly one.
That was very interesting, Harry, but too many damn Porsches but no mention of that gorgeous little Fiat 500 at the end!! Beautiful array of mouth watering cars there. Now then, where's me Lottery website!!
Harry always has such terrific insight on a wide array of cars. For instance, because of this video enthusiasts all over the world just tripled the amount of times people have looked up "Zakspeed." Thank you for furthering my education Harry! Cheers mate!
37:15 I believe that's "Mustang Grabber Blue" which I absolutely adore! It's all over the place here in the states, surprised it isn't common over there
Hi Harry, thanks a lot for your most joyful posts! My soft spot is w111 Mercedes-Benz coupe. At least twice l have seen then in your presentions but you never features them like Pagodas etc. Just maybe once l'll see my favorite too. Greetings from Finland & all the best to ya!
Hello Harry, the Brikcklin was actually a Canadian made car. What made it unique aside from its creation location is the acrylic resin bonded to fiberglass body.
That's a masterful method of ensuring that the Bricklin goes for next to nothing. I wouldn't be surprised to see it hiding under a car cover in Harry's garage. :)
Just waau! That Charger, NSX 240Z Mk 1 apart from the unaffordable other toys made my heart jumping for shear joy. De Loriann might be the steal of the show.
Seeing that gorgeous Trans AM...man Pontiac will be missed. Actually thinking about getting one of those someday. Pontiac got quite the following here in Sweden. : )
RS200 didn't have a 2.0L Cosworth engine like the Sierra, Hazza. Had a 1.8 turbo BDT lump. Some beautiful looking motors there!! 😍
I didn't know that but thanks for the info.
Just said the same and then read down. It’s a relation of the BDA/BDG I think, with a turbo. Cossie is 16v Pinto with a turbo?
Had the opportunity to buy an RS200 for around $20k years ago, passed on it which was a mistake....
bad karma car - killed it's co-driver - I saw one later, a road going version that had a much less special engine - obviously a replacement lump ........ ?
@@ashman0071 Might have been a replica
These auction previews are up there with my favourite content on the channel. Never stop, Harry!
Likewise Liam -
Definitely.
His breadth of knowledge on cars is insane isn't it
A man can dream and watch Harry's Garage.
Cheaper this way 😊
Too bad you can’t dream up a bag of cash 😊
Women can dream too 😊
LOL I love his comments on the Bricklin, "they're quite rare, fortunately..."
Harry always does the best previews with history.. well done.
Love this channel, the information and history this man has about cars is amazing
hello nurse
Harry's a legend ... founder of Evo car magazine
Harry is by far the most informed and knowledgeable car enthusiast I have ever seen! Some fantastic looking motors there.
I will probably never know as much about cars as Harry but I do know the difference between a Barracuda and a Roadrunner
I love watching Harry's passion and enthusiasm 👍
Thanks Harry...always love your trips down memory lane.

Fabulous run through “ like a kid in a sweet shop” appraisal of an amazing collection of outstanding vehicles, thanks for sharing, Harry.
What another Silverstone candyland of phenomenal vehicles; thanks to Harry for not cutting the video too short.

I'm so happy everytime I see there's a new Harry's garage silverstone auction video. Probably some of my favorite youtube videos :D
Further sublime content from one of the most charming chaps on UA-cam.
Love the previews! HG is outstanding, never miss an episode. Thank you for your service to the automotive collector world !
Love love the Auction Content... nothing like this out there on the interwebs, keep it up Harry!!!
Love the Clarkson quip on the Merak Harry👍😎

Fully agree with you! I’ve just done 10,000 miles in my Aston Martin in the last 12 months. I didn’t buy it to keep in the garage.
And yet this pristine R8 depreciates, what, 50%? Yikes. Very telling...
Wow!
What a collection!
It's amazing how much ford's are going for now if only we could go back in hindsight 😁
Love the vid Harry 👌😍
I agree totally with you Harry on the DeLorean. They look like an appliance for sanitizing pots and pans.
my day is ALWAYS made watching Harry go around Silverstone! Cheers man. thanks as always! 😊
Nothing better than waking up to a fabulous feast of automotive art on sunny morning in NZ! Thank you Harry.
Harry says: "You can bid online."
Wallet says: "no, you can't."
:)
Well done Harry, fabulous preview,. Like a minor in a sweetie shop, as aficionados do. Brill'.
Can't afford anything, but love these auction walk-throughs, Harry.
Silly prices let's see something the average person can afford .Oh sorry non ,we have been priced out of the market
"I've a set of Barry Sheene leathers in my garage" says Harry.
Can't help but wonder why we love you so much Harry and, your love of motoring 'stuff'.
What a man. Twice.
"...unlike Mr. Clarkson..." HAH! That tease made my day.
My Esprit made the cut 😁🇬🇧 🤞
Thanks for that Harry, your knowledge and enthusiasm is wonderful to listen to. So many spectacular cars, oh for a lottery win!,
These Auction Previews are an instant like from me the minute I see them uploaded! Always terrific to see the cars and hear your commentary. Wish the video was an hour longer!
Thank you for representing the American cars
Harry restored the Jag coupe that was the same colour as a Wirral bus. 😂 lovely resto and an amazing colour choice.
Awww man.. that old red nsx. I'm drooling
Wow I just spent a fortune in my head great looking cars
Love Harry's videos but I must admit these auction ones are my fave!
I always look forward to these visits. I would love you to feature every car and then follow up with a video showing how much they sold for.
Fantastic. I really love the Silverstone Auction videos. I do miss the Geneva Motorshow videos though.
Zakspeed Capri is lovely, think the seats were Scheel branded Ford RS. Very special car with an interesting back story.
Thanks Harry. Watched the auction all the way from Brisbane Australia. The black XJS with 100 miles on would have been my pick of the auction. Was lucky enough to drive one many years ago when i lived in the Uk. Thanks for letting us all know the auction was on .
I love these video's. It's like window shopping.
Harry saying he never saw one before…really says something
All the best to everyone
I’m registered and approved to bid for this one 9:00 fingers crossed 🤞🏼
WELL DONE SILVERSTONE, GEE THE CARS ARE WELL TURNED OUT AT THIS AUCTION. TRANSLATE SO WELL ON VIDEO GUYS
Complete car Heaven for 42 minutes. Bravo Harry.
Nice capture, presenting and editing. Tom, you got so many well placed cutaways. nice work on the edit, late night Thursday then! Thanks.
Jethro Tull is the name of the band, the person you spoke of was probably Ian Anderson.
Always love these videos….
That Zakspeed Capri is a dream car from my ‘yoof’ 😍
To know that much info on so many cars is more impressive than the actual cars. Well
Done harry

That was my thought as well. Not a good time to buy this sort of stuff unless you can afford the depreciation.
A selection of what will end up being You Tube 2295 barn finds
these auctions happen on a regular basis and have been for years - Harry has covered lots of them.
10 cars more than normal is hardly the signs of a recession
@@th3b0untyhunter The people that can afford these cars aren’t usually too badly affected by a recession.
Brilliant. And well done getting the vid out so fast! Very entertaining daydream material.
Two of the cars from Top Gear's £10k supercar challenge and they haven't actually gone up all that much... And those are nice ones, the Merak is even an actual SS. Good buys.
What was the moral of that piece again? I know: DON'T!
''I've bought a car with an SS badge on it'' 😂
What a fantastic selection and range of cars and bikes. I think Harry left a trail of saliva on his tour!😂 11:40 Alfa Romeo Mondial 8, isn't that an Alfa Montreal? Yes re' Alfa.
Yes, it's Montreal, not Mondial.
Glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed that 😅
Yes ...Montreal ...and I had a 1971 Capri V6 GT ,,one of my favourite cars ever.
"It's very rare - fortunately" best comment ever about the Bricklin.
Thanks Harry… great video , wish we had this level of cars in Canada
Man!!!! This is one of the best selections this year!!!
HARRY YOUR JUST THE DREAM SHOWROOM TOURER... LOVE THIS VIDEO AND ESPECIALLY THE HISTORY ATTACHED ☺😊😀😁
Top. Just a pleasure to listen to Harry and get excited. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊
Thanks, Harry. Love the orange Montreal, GTR4 Dove, and the blue 2600 Sprint. I wish you had stopped by the white XK120, but understandable with the sheer amount of cars there. Please never stop making these videos.👍
Love these auction walkabouts, can't imagine them being this interesting in 30 years, with low mileage electric SUV's looking for new homes.
Your depth of knowledge about these cars is amazing. I like your differing opinions with the Smoking Tire , Autogefuhl and Savage Geese.
They know of you and respect your input.
Absolutely fab video, the joyous enthusiasm really brings it together. I so wish I had some spare cash!
The Merak SS looks lovely and a great colour. Very underrated and undervalued classic
totally agree , it's almost affordable.
"Almost "
Just had a notification about this video and the auction has nearly ended. As ever though, interesting insights from Harry make it worth the watch.
The things that dreams are made of, thanks for the walk around Harry. I hope you get top money for your entrees 👍🏻🏴
Nice surprise. A Friday Harry's garage video. I really like the auction videos.
Love these videos dropping into my alerts.

Unpopular take with the Evo gang, but a 4C, like an Elise, is best left stock.
My fav content on the tubes thanks Harry !
First there was the Hunt/Lauda film "Rush".
Then there was Harry's auction video ... 😉
.
Packed a lot in that one. 👍
That Trans Am is lovely..I have owned a few. They are lovely to drive and get huge amounts of Attention and Admiration especially in London 🙂
Nice car Harry, love the personalised number plate 👍👍
Need to add the Mitsu to your Dakar collection Harry, would love to see it on the farm and on a trip to the dunes! Do it for the fans.. ;)

Hey Charlie just wanted to say nice work on paying attention to the smaller details!!
Brilliant Harry.....all too tempting!
Love these preview videos. Opening with the Sierra Cosworth made every car that followed seem remarkable value for money 😂😮
That Clio V6 really got my juices flowing
Hello Harry, the Brikcklin was actually a Canadian made car. What made it unique aside from its creation location is the acrylic resin bonded to fiberglass body.
So many cool cars, can't pick. Pajero EVO is one of my dream garage cars, awesome machines ...
That's a masterful method of ensuring that the Bricklin goes for next to nothing. I wouldn't be surprised to see it hiding under a car cover in Harry's garage. :)

308GT4 and the 599 are my two favorite Ferraris. Happy to see that you like them as well, Harry.
Well done team for getting this out ASAP!..... must not register. Must not register. Must not register...
Seeing that gorgeous Trans AM...man Pontiac will be missed. Actually thinking about getting one of those someday. Pontiac got quite the following here in Sweden. : )
Both the 2600 sprint and the Montreal look tempting.
