I have mine for the past 2 years with the new 12amp flexvolt batteries and I can run a mini fridge for 8 hours , a Full size fridge for 4 and a 110v fluxcore mig welder at 60 amps for about 2 hours on and off. Yes is an expensive set up the way I have it ( about $1300) but the portability with out the noise , weight and fumes is priceless. There are other ones in the market now like the EGO and Milwaukee but they can’t run a welder like this one does. I hope this info helps
I love my powerstation and it has been a real plus in a couple of power out situations. I had light (all led) and cooking with an induction burner/coffee maker etc. I keep a quad of 5ah batteries in it and charged. I have never even hit a battery warning with the load I've given it. I got an "open box" unit through my brother who works for S/B&D for $150Cdn...tax in!
The power station is a great tool. I actually just bought it. I wanted it over the Milwaukee generator. Same runtime as the Milwaukee with the 12amp hours. And more light weight. And lighter on the wallet 👍🏽
So the manual for my Dewalt charger said to plug the charger in then put the batteries on. Is this charger different? Also is this a fast or slow charger?
I’ve seen videos of people adding a pure sine wave converter/inverter to keep it from frying circuits on appliances. I believe it boosts the power as well
Another great review, Vince! Think I'll scrap my quest for a Milwaukee packout and go with the Dewalt modular to mate with my DS1800, instead. Makes perfect sense! The four 9Ah I run on mine will power tools all day. Not convenient to run an A.C. extension cord where I park. No problem; the DS1800 will power my Rigid 12 gallon shop vacuum with ease!
Vince I tried to get my 3 kobalt tools replaced at lowes today day and they would not replace them because they were not Gray and blue and there tool are not Gray and blue any more that is what I told them so now I will not but any more kobalt tools
Hi, Vince, I have not read all the comments but would like to see you do a battery charging video on this item as you have of the fast charger to see how long this power station takes. Thank you for the hard work you put into your videos. Dale
Having a separate box for charged batteries and dead batteries would confuse me if they were the same type of box. Its a good idea, one thing you might could do if you'd get confused is put the batteries that need charged in those little Dewalt plastic cups or vice versa that come with the organizers. I think Dewalt has a black box that has those cups too. I don't have a Dewalt Power Station but I'd like to get one for emergencies but I'd wanna get 4 9ah batteries for the longest runtime possible. I don't like to mess around.
Will this power a pressure washer(1700 psi) , wet/dry vac ( 5 HP) and steamer ? , let’s say with 4 batteries of 5 ah , how long it’ll run with each of these machines aprox?
I'd like to see a dewalt toughsystem setup but all for fun. For example, the toughsystem cooler with the toughsystem radio, the power station to run an ice machine and bring all that camping or to the beach.
FYI, it doesn’t work with refrigerators. Refrigerators don’t like the frequency of the electricity this puts out. Other than that, I have 2 of them and would only get rid of them if milwaukee decided to make one. Well, maybe. I have no 20v max or 12 tools, but I love the flexvolt left blade circular saw, table saw, miter saw, and grinder with dust shroud.
The electric it produces is at a modified frequency. Kind of like the hybrid electronic gas generators. Certain things(electronic control panels) don’t play well at that frequency. Not all, but some.
SHERMAN YOUNG pretty much it can run 15 amps. I painted facia with a grace 690 running a large propane heat all together on a cart last winter. No long cords dragging behind me. 1st job with th dewalt and I was impressed.
Only thing I wanna know is if I can put 6ah batteries on the smaller ones. I called dewalt who referred me to generac who was sure and said “I don’t know just stick to the original 4ah. 🤷🏽♂️
I would say run some stuff besides power tools because we know we can run that and it will run those long enough to get the job done try running like a heater because that is what people would be trying to use this for his long running times on stuff that has to be plugged in
I’m not impressed by this, Dewalt fail, I’m a big Dewalt fan but 400$ for a cheap modified sine inverter. No thanks. I can pick up a Milwaukee pure sine for the same or a solar generator that gives me more options for less $ when you add the cost of the batteries. Try try again Dewalt

My favorite Chanel for all things tools 💯🔥

Would it run a heater? Say power goes out and you need heat for awhile. How long would it pull 1500w with 4 6ah batteries?
In pure no waste situation, those will run for less than 20 mins, all those batteries are under 450 watts.
So the manual for my Dewalt charger said to plug the charger in then put the batteries on. Is this charger different? Also is this a fast or slow charger?
Yes and this is a normal speed charger
Can you put 4 60 volt batteries on there without damaging anything is that too much power
I think the 60v batteries have 2 modes. 20v/60v
Love the use of black and yellow 👍🏻🥴
how do you get one for 1/2 price?
Good question: I understand this was made three years ago, but I want one, and watched this video to find out how to get one 1/2 price!
Vince as always love your content and your Enthusiasm
Thank you cjm that means a lot to me!
Can you plug 4 full batteries in to it, and then use a corded tool even if the station is NOT plugged in to a wall. (batteries power the corded tool?)
Great channel guys...best wishes from the UK!
Thank you animal!!
Any way around the sine wave difference ?
I don’t know of a way! Do you?
Nope even worst in the uk we use 240 domestic and 110v commercial and I live in Sweden where it’s all different again..
I’ve seen videos of people adding a pure sine wave converter/inverter to keep it from frying circuits on appliances. I believe it boosts the power as well
man, you guys get the coolest tools over there. No such options in Ireland.

Can you imagine what kind of runtime four of the new Dewalt 12Ah will provide? Geez! I can't wait for them to come out (and go on sale :-D).
time is money .you got that right Vince thanks for the vid
That’s right Fish!! Thank you buddy we appreciate it!!
Vince I tried to get my 3 kobalt tools replaced at lowes today day and they would not replace them because they were not Gray and blue and there tool are not Gray and blue any more that is what I told them so now I will not but any more kobalt tools
They did not warrant them because they’re the wrong color?
I wish milwaukee had one for 18volt battery

We can definitely do that!!
How long will a 1250 watt tool run on this thing?
Having a separate box for charged batteries and dead batteries would confuse me if they were the same type of box. Can't mess around when the work has to get done!!
I number my batteries for easy reference.
That’s a good move Scott!!
@@VCGConstruction I write the date put into service, or bought, and number them.
Will this power a pressure washer(1700 psi) , wet/dry vac ( 5 HP) and steamer ? , let’s say with 4 batteries of 5 ah , how long it’ll run with each of these machines aprox?
It will still be really short run time, every amp hour is 20 watts
Vince, what does Milwaukee have to say about this
I'd like to see a dewalt toughsystem setup but all for fun. For example, the toughsystem cooler with the toughsystem radio, the power station to run an ice machine and bring all that camping or to the beach.
Please do a video of this Station powering the DWS780 -xe. Cheers!
It's to bad it charges batteries so slow:(
how to get it half of the price?
Be on a livestream to find out, although this deal probably isnt around anymore!
VCG Construction they are very expensive. If there are discounts, it would be great.
That thing looks like a Roof Dome on a Taxi Cab
🤣🤣🤣
This thing is so cool! Hope ryobi comes out with a similar inverter. I have too many tools to reinvest in another line
Robert Sand they have! It’s only 150w @120vac but it’s not bad for small loads. I use it for the dual 2.4AMP USB ports more than anything
Meh get the new line IV got Milwaukee Ridgid DeWalt Bosch just make the switch lol think of them as Pokemon gotta catch them all
Is craftsman going to make something like this
Would love this to exist in the UK
my question is can it charge a 60v electric bike...?
FYI, it doesn’t work with refrigerators. Refrigerators don’t like the frequency of the electricity this puts out. All refrigerators or just yours?
We have a 2-3 year old LG, and it won’t run on it. I read into it, and it seems to be a common issue with other brands as well.
Thanks for the heads up Brett

I think Milwaukee should make one that fits on the packout. I wonder if it could run a log splitter or concrete mixer
Philip Dove I ran a concrete mixer👍

Wow I thought Milwaukee was only one to do this
Just ran a wetsaw on it. Got me about 180 cuts with 4 6.0 batteries
With the technology of tools and batteries there isn’t any excuse for someone to stand around waiting for their stuff to charge
They keep innovating for the tradesmen! It is awesome!
I love this idea I wish Milwaukee would come out with this but i am all about the red monster
C.J. M Milwaukee, red and black sounds better ;)
i have one its amazing
Latches suck on those boxes other that pretty cool system
Nick, did Vince whoop you with the dropcord for leaving it tangled. 😂
Nick is tied up now!
VCG Construction That's funny right there Vince. 😂
Vince, I got question. Can you run an espresso machine on it? Lol
🤣🤣🤣 definitely!!
We have to know the runtime Vince looking forward to seeing that video
What would you like us to run with it?
I would say run some stuff besides power tools because we know we can run that and it will run those long enough to get the job done try running like a heater because that is what people would be trying to use this for his long running times on stuff that has to be plugged in
Or even better go like camping in the backyard and just run everything off of it and see how long it goes
Or do a corded tool review and use that to power it
ima buy this just to charge my makita batterys
😂😀
I've been thinking about buying this and adapters to fit ryobi batteries
Tell them to get us our m18 one 👍😁
And um still waiting for that though system video to pop out of the screen 😂
I have literally used this to run a welder.
My cords same way
That was a lot of black and yellow in that video.lol
Yeah there is!!
Almost makes me believe that Vince is a Stealers' fan rather than an Eagles one
Haha I laughed for 20min because of the black and yellow song
5K!! 5K!! 5K!!
Thanks for the support Scott!!
STOP SCREAMING WHAT DID I DO TO YOU?
Sorry mr panda we aren’t screaming, we’re just passionate!! 🤣🤣🤣
VCG Construction your passionately blowing out headphone users eardrums. 😂
Ucity I always have my headphones in!! Sorry!
At least you look a y the good things witch I agree. That tool bear runs everything down and should go back to fighting fire
tell me...?
