Selling the Trailer. I am currently asking $30k OBO. This price does not include the tools, fasteners or DeWalt boxes. It includes the trailer, all cabinets, electric/battery power, and the router table. It does not include shipping/delivery or transfer of title. I may be persuaded to sell "as is", but will not entertain offers under $50K. I will not accept lowball offers, nor am I or am under any obligation to sell it immediately. This trailer is unique, fully functional and a labor of love.
That's what I told my wife, less than 50,000 I wouldn't sell it and I'll tell you that you could dedicate yourself to making those types of trailers, I think that many would buy it and it could be a good business
It looks like the DeWalt company built this workshop. In fact, even the DeWalt booth at the tool show can't be this good. You did a great job, I love it.
I wish I could get a few nickels or some new tools from them. It took me 10+ years to purchase all of this on my own living paycheck to paycheck. I'd love to recover some of those funds. I can't even begin to estimate how much I have spent.. A lot of my tools are not even in the trailer.
I’ve spent the last 25 yrs doing metal work in high end homes. I’ve made my own cabinets from scratch but what you have done is nothing short of amazing. Splitting that cabinet is ingenious. Painting details are spectacular. I did however buy the dewalt 60 volt mag drill and a Fien mag vise. (Instead of a drill press).
This is incredible and bar none the best decked out dewalt trailer I’ve seen to date. Thank you so much for sharing and giving inspiration to all of us who love the black and yellow!
I'm a DeWalt man too. I buy alot of my stuff on black friday every Christmas every year. The only way I can afford the habit. This trailer is heaven for me.
My jaw is on the floor! Incredible job! And I thought I was weird when I show up to a job site with everything being black and yellow. Thank you for making me feel normal.
Oh WOW! The BAM part of this video was amazing. I really like how you added your personality to the narration while guiding us through your workshop. very cool! I certainly am generating some clever ideas from your design.
Have to say your brain is a blueprint fantastic job you did there, The setup is unbelievable. If I were back in carpentry I would buy it, but today I'm just relaxing, too old for that kind of work.
DeWalt offered me a job once, but it required moving to Baltimore. I wasn't interested in moving at the time.. i have been to Baltimore before, so i had a good idea of what I'd be stepping into. I actually pursued a meeting with a senior regional officer through my local rep contacts. I just wanted to see what they would offer (if anything). But, other than some promotional items given to me by local reps (mugs, footballs etc) I have never received anything in an official capacity or sponsorship. I have purchased everything on my own over several years. Everything here (and many of my other DeWalt organization projects) have been a labor of love and meant to satisfy my own OCD :)
That trailer is very impressive. That is the best tool set up that I've ever seen. Now I don't feel bad for all of the DeWalt tools that I have in my garage. 😂
You clearly put a lot of effort into your trailer- I particularly liked the customized router table you put together. It wouldn't surprise me if someone @ DeWalt reached out to highlight your project!
As a DeWalt tool owner, you have quite a number of items, very cool man. Very good look man. Please hope you have low jack, apple ID tag in a couple of place, Tile or something to keep track of that trailer. I would cry so hard if someone were to steal something like that, especially of the time spent putting that together like that.

That's a beautiful trailer sir. I appreciate that you mentioned the fact that it's not practical to work out of it everywhere. I've been working out of my 18' mobile workshop trailer for almost 3 years now and itching to make a video. One of the main points I planned on making was the fact that a trailer of this size is predominantly a hardware store/storage unit. You can't find parking in most areas and don't want to drag it around every day. You've inspired me to finally make a video of my trailer. My week is almost rained out so hopefully I can release the video in the next few days. I hope you check it out.

I never even mentioned that stuff or even focused my camera on them) I'll clearly have to make more content in the near future.
@@Tool_Addicted_Carpenter thankyou! I appreciate your compliments. Most of the messages here degrade into pissing matches of Milwaukee vs. Dewalt. It's not like I don't enjoy them, but has little to do with me or the trailer. Just that I picked team yellow.

Very nice design and use of space. I wish I had more time to make mine look as clean as this. I use the tough system wall mounting system also. I actually didn't know they make non-foldable brackets. I've had mine since 2018 so maybe the newer ones have changed.
As I discovered "after the fact", there were 2 versions, a van rack system, and a garage system. The van system with the folding arms was apparently discontinued? I was told, but have not confirmed that.. regardless, I was only able to find the garage system online, and was forced into buying the folding arms. Personally, I don't see why the rigid arm version even exists.
Wow that a lot of yellow and GREEN. Super nice trailer. 20 years ago I could have made a fortune with that thing and not been as broken up as I am now. Yes and no.. there are a few new tools in there, but most everything has a few years on it. However, the trailer and most of the cabinets are new or freshy painted, so it gives the appearance that everything is new and pristine. I spent a lot of time cleaning and degeasing all my tools before I loaded them into the trailer. In fact half the tools in the big standing double cabinet are over 10byears old, broken and need to be replaced. ... but they look great! Lol
Awesome setup! I might have a suggestion that could work for all the tools you have to throw in a box when the trailer is in motion…why not get rubber elastics with hooks at both ends to strap down section by section …
It's crossed my mind (along with a few other ideas). The thing is, I don't have a garage. This trailer is basically set up as a small shop to store my collection. I don't really intend on driving it around much.. if ever. But I also didn't expect the trailer to get more than 500 views or acquire sponsors either.. things are happening fast, so I may have to revisit that idea in the future. Coincidently, some time in mid to late July, I will be doing a more in-depth video series. One of the videos will specifically be about how I secured everything as that seems to be the biggest criticism about the trailer (that and its not "milwaukee") and I may end up doing just as you suggested for the sake of the video. Or some combination of ideas.. I do appreciate the feedback, thankyou
@@BarrysToolCave fully understand the fact that it’s acting as a garage/collection storage…it’s not milwaukee…because black and yellow looks so much better for many folks that have had to decide which battery platform suits their taste/preference of power tools…great news that a video series is coming soon! Will be watching and glad that things have been moving fast in a positive direction!
I don't know why Dewalt doesn't make a regular drill press. I'm trying to buy all black and yellow but they don't offer it other than their magnetic drill. I love the trailer man, I've been watching a ton of trailer videos for ideas and yours is the nicest by far. The only critique I have is that I would get different pulls for the drawers. That pulls you have can catch on your pants / especially cargo pockets on shorts and cause a trip and fall or make you drop something.
Designing a trailer like this is a balancing act of form and function. Obviously, the practical function is most important, but I also wanted look nice. The handles and drill press are both great examples. If the handles become an issue, I will definitely replace them, but they have been fine so far. As far as why DeWalt doesn't have a drill press, I have no idea .. DeWalt is a subsidiary of SB&D, so I have to assume it has to do with money or logistics. They were probably just not selling enough to make a profit.
Good lord, man. Plan the video before you film it. 😅 Nice trailer workshop. Looks fantastic. The upper cabinets are such a genius idea. Everything is very well-executed.

Lol thanks, it's all in good fun. I dont have any disdain for milwaukee at all, but the tool forum wars are hysterical. I love when somebody busts into a tool discussion with dewalt sucks!!!! I just wanted some sort of nod to the ongoing debate that never ends and keeps us all going :)
I knew it was just a matter of time before someone asked this question! I know I would have! :) ... The simple answer is yes, I use the hell out of them, in fact I used most of them to actually build this project. If you pause the video and look at them, theres plenty of battle scars. The more thorough answer is that the cabinets and the "rebranded" machines and most everything you see here all has a brand new fresh coat of paint. Every tool has been degreased and cleaned up as nice as possible simply because I knew I was making this video. I am obsessed with cleaning my gear and putting things away as soon as I am done with them (severe OCD), but I can assure you, it's not going to look this good ever again! :)
I love my dremel tool, I feel like it would be a gross level of disrespect to rebrand a tool I use so often and enjoy so much. However, if DeWalt made a precision ⅛ rotary tool, I'd have to at least give it a try.

@@BarrysToolCave I get that😂 Makita is great, but I always shit on Dewalt for the fun of it and Ryobi cause they’re garbage

I wish it was red, but I gotta say this is sooooo clean. Nice work bro!
Do you use the tools lol, they all look brand new!
That is cool buddy. Only a car audio guy would do this .. Love your work!!!!
I am a huge DeWalt fan, love the trailer workshop idea!!! The only thing is you forgot to rebrand the dremel rotary tool 😂😂😂
I love my dremel tool, I feel like it would be a gross level of disrespect to rebrand a tool I use so often and enjoy so much. However, if DeWalt made a precision ⅛ rotary tool, I'd have to at least give it a try.
