Excellent video explaining this is the first time I see a video well explaining everything and pointing every part you going to work on congratulations I'll subscribe and share!
You guys installed a cold air intake and later he's going to install a mid pipe...?? The stock engine is only 169 horse power, but you claim that your only two modifications of a cold air intake and a mid pipe will gain 30 horse power..?? I doubt that very much. Did you have the car Dyno tested...???
Bro, excellent video ! Thanks for the detailed and chill step by step. But, the movement of camera made me feel camera sick lol. Next time maybe use a tripod if u can. Just a slight tip.
What are some other things I can do that are similar to this I’m new to this whole thing my first car as well but besides and intake what else can someone do for the same low price and yourself
Is this possible for the 2L hybride of the 2019 Corolla? I always assume its not always possible for the hybride versions. Got the 2L hybride, but was thinking for a lil more sound to brighten my day even more. Altough the CVT isnt what make people happy, but the ait intake might make it sound a lot nicer.
@@PRviewsvlogs then i will wait for someone to test this. Not going to try things on a daily without knowing if its safe to do so. Oh well thanks for replying.
@@floridaontop5164 as far as i am concerned is that the hybride system is done so well with sensors . That i wouldnt try tuning engine wise on a hybride. You might break the hybride system due to more power and stress on the system. I havent really tried further but i asked on a dutch forum and they didnt recommend it. You have to be a good chip tuner first to find out codes and such to change then safely. But i havent found anyone who did it on a corolla hybride sadly.
I installed my TRD Intake today and i did notice a difference breaths better it’s bigger then the stock air box, down shifts are way easier than with the stock one, I had to give it more gas so it would blip with the TRD it’s so much more responsive. I do recommend it.
Well adding anything to a car that was not put there by the warranty could terminate the warranty , but a intake won’t do much damage , unless you get a check engine light for a mass air flow .
@@PRviewsvlogs hmm will do. I just switched back to oem intake to drive and test to see if the same CEL code comes up again. If it doesn’t, I may just return it lol or give it one more try 😅
Thanks for your help man. I just reinstalled the Takeda intake again. I think where I messed up was 1) didn’t reuse the bottom rubber grommets and 2) that may have caused the little 90 degree elbow piece to slide out. So this time I made sure to reuse the rubber grommet mounts for the airbox , and made sure the 90 degree elbow was in tight. (Actually zip tied it to secure and make sure it didn’t pop out). After a 30mi test drive no CEL so far! So if I can get past 50+ miles without CEL, I think we’re good! Thank you again for this video!
@@mythicsosa7770 yea, I ended up returning the intake. Kept causing CEL no matter how many different things I tried with AFE support. Not recommended for the CVT at least
Nice vid I’m sure gonna add this to my hatch. Best intake for the Corolla I’ve seen yet
Yea , I like the way it looks .
I really enjoy the OEM+ look to it
that intake looks savage! good job.

on stock, u only got ur rpm to 3k max, shouldve pushed stock intake as well. on the takeda u floored it

I went with the injen intake setup, but this looks good!
I'd go injen also. This is mehhhhh. Bay looks ugly with it too
Kinda wish I had done this instead of the Injen that doesn't have an air box :P
Great walk-through!
So you would recomend this instead of the injen ?
I like this option what is better .
Appreciate it brother 👊🏽
So in other videos shows that it doesn't help at all its just the looks they even took it to the machine and tasted and seems not change at all.
Can you share what videos you're talking about? I'm researching this intake and haven't found hardly any videos on it
are there any CAI for the 2020 Corolla LE 1.8L engine?
will this work well with 1.6L variant?
The piece at 10:13 we don’t have. Did you buy it or did it come in the box?
The rubber ring ??
@@PRviewsvlogs yes
If I remember correctly that came off the factory intake
@@PRviewsvlogs that’s weird my 2022 didn’t have it. Might have to get it. It came with the foam ring
What’s the difference between this and a stock intake?

Where did you get your shifter knob? I’ve been looking for a good one that fits my 2020 hatch.
Chris: Billetworks
What front lip is that? If you may know or find out! 😬
Why I feel that this intake only looks cool but it doesn’t make any sound from the videos I have see
Do you have the link to the wheels and tires? The front lip and rear tails
Just added links to description
Link to the roof rack and cross bars ?
What type lowering suspension and wheel size ? Thank you . Great video and nice set up on the car 👍
Thank you , I’m actually going to be doing a video on all the mods on this car soon
@@PRviewsvlogs perfect , looking forward. Thx.

+10hp for a short ram????🤩🤩🤩🤩
Will this intake fit the sedan version? or is it exclusive to the HB
They have the same engines so it will fit

I am assuming plug off always lol except when it rains then it's plug on ..
Buddy I’m not sure it’s my buddys car from what I know he always keeps the plug off rain or dry .
Would you say this is better than TRD and MST? Thank you

Yes they do
They do! I got it through REM Motorsports. They are in Florida. Contact Ralfie Martinez.

No codes
I did. Unstable idle too. Did you find a fix?
What's your wheel specs?

If the set is the same it should but I would check with the manufacturer of the intake
