I think this one dethrones the og bb58 for me. That color is lovely, liking those tiny details and the brushed sides too. However Im not sure how the silver will age over time especially when exposed to the sea and household chemicals. Also I wish they made a silver bracelet too. A dive watch on leather seems inapproriate and the nato just doesnt make the cut for more formal events.

I actually love the silver and gold choices of Tudor! I hate placing companies in boxes of what they are supposed to be. To me, let them continue to define who they are! I think it still falls in line with Tudor's DNA: innovative, youthful, and every man. Even as they use precious metals, they are still kinda every man pricepoint for the materials they are using! Great price for silver, and a great price for gold! And just INNOVATIVE, DIFFERENT, YOUTHFUL AND COOL!
With all the respect on earth if you think Tudor with their several thousand dollar price points are making every man watches then our definitions of reality are not the same.
Picked mine up last week -- Loving this watch -- Just had to get it, never seen a silver watch b4 -- this has to been seen in person -- Just Stunning !!!!!

New to the channel, glad I checked the notification. Although silver has been widely used in the past, haven't seen anything in silver past two decades. Bronze/brass on sport watches does add character, so does silver. The full brushed finishing suits the sport/tool watch and yes I agree that it's a nice addition to the polished and overly shiny standard BB.Grey is indeed great ! I would like to see a bracelet on this model. Leather isn't the best on a diver's watch, can be used for everyday desk diving but not in the water. The nato, although nice, still isn't the best for diving. Seawater will leave it's marks pretty soon no matter how well you clean it with fresh water afterwards. What I would really like to see on a Tudor BB and BB chrono is a ceramic bezel insert. Thank you for the review, enjoy the watch in good health.
Popped into my local dealer to order a FXD had a play with the 925 and walked out with it... So much lovelier in the flesh... Fxd still on order and have the original BB58 too.... Tudor is really making magic stuff at the moment

As soon as this one was released, I knew I had to have it. My local AD had one immediately upon release and I couldn’t help myself. It really is a super cool and beautiful watch. Now I need some straps for it.
Hey Adrian, saw your cameo on the Timepiece Gentleman channel - great to see you're all collaborating. Great video, cheers for the review. Time to add a Tudor to my collection.
I love this. Was pretty much sold on a black BB58 on the NATO, but your side by side images convinced me that I prefer the brushed case sides of the 925, on the Tudor NATO it looks amazing.
Adrian your videos are dope as hell!! Im always waiting on the edge of my seat for how you will do product placement and this video perfect!!😂 You even subtlety Placed your Cappuccino strap, maybe unintentionally but I was paying attention! I think the silver is an interesting metal choice, not alot of watch makers using it currently either. It has its place for sure.
I am so in love with my blue bb58 I prefer it any day. Non-display case back > display caseback. Looks better and thinner. I like the bracelet and I love blue (my favorite color).
Another very good video, strongly delivered. Looking forward to your next one on the newly released BB58 Bronze. I have a Daytona for black shoes, and a Tudor BB58 for wear with brown shoes. and a Tag Formula 1 for gym. the perfect watch collection. Less is more. Less is the ultimate form of sophostication....excuse the madness.
I like the silver and grey/taupe combo a lot. If I wanted another dive watch, this would be it. The brushing all around and the tone of the silver look great. I enjoy sapphire casebacks, but they really should have decorated the movement just a bit. It doesn’t take much to jazz up the look of a movement. I’m fine with Tudor making silver and gold watches, they’ll do what they want and if people like it, fine, if not, fine by me, too.
I held 3 different ones here in Tokyo and i tell you… you are right! This is a beautiful watch! Also, i held a used one and it definitely was tarnished but I still liked it… another thing to be aware is that silver is softer than SS… be careful with strap changes because it will scratch and dent easier than ss.
Your video really made me fall in love with this. The press photos look brown, gross, but yours looks silver and that's amazing. I'm still begging for a black dial with the silver indexes this watch has. Can't wait to see how this looks in a few years! I've got an older Black Bay 41mm Black Dial ETA. So it would be hard to give that up but if i could change anything it would be the gold.

Really liked this and can not wait to check out this watch in person although I already have two BB58s. drian is the right person to do this. So well done for Tudor. This will get a lot of views. And well deserved.
Had the chance to buy a BB 58, turned it down - I don't flip and will only buy what I'll wear.... I'd buy this silver version. Nice. Very nice. The brushed silver does it. And it's definitely a strap monster. It would join my blue Pelagos and 1926.
Best transition into the straps yet 🤣. Must say in terms of the gold watch, I really like it. Not sure on the case back but massive points for giving a gold one a go. The green combo looks stunning
Lovely watch, great review and I appreciate the PSA telling people not to bother buying these off the grey market. I wish the yellow gold model was priced more realistically, because judging from the pictures, it's a beauty.
As a jeweller and silversmith I can guarantee brushing will not diminish the effects of patina. There's more surface area and plenty more crevasses for dirt, sweat, and oil to build up in. I don't know how a 92.5% silver/aluminium mix will change over time but the aluminium component most likely leaves the metal porous and extremely difficult to polish without orangepeeling and that's why I suspect its brushed
I have ordered this stunner from my local AD. They say it should be received in around 4-5 weeks although they cannot guarantee this date. It would be madness to pay over list for this one or any other Tudor. Tudor are a mass produced product, which is why they are reasonably priced by Swiss watch standards. There were premiums being asked on the Blue version that was launched with massive hype but the market settled down once production was ramped up.
Little tip on not getting mugged put the Tudor bag inside an Argos bag. Make sure you swap it back the other way when in Scotland or the same might happen.
Awe man, I haven't bought a new watch in 2 years. It may me time to pick up something new for the collection. Also, loved the shake transition to the commercial. Keep it up Adrian!
Glad you got it Adrian, they really are that good in person, it's a warm grey to grow old with, a future classic. Still waiting for mine due to a misaligned bezel :( BTW the alloy is with palladium and one other secret ingredient. (That was part of the Rolex training info.) It's twice the hardness of regular sterling. Enjoy the watch
I do not like any of the previous Black Bay, I have always found some small detail that made me not like it 100%. My favorite Tudor (so far) was the Pelagos. Now ... I have a problem ... I am completely in love with this little piece of silver ...
Like I commented on James’s post, this watch in 1000% cooler on his picture and on your video. I tried it last week but with the brown leather strap and under bad light... I also live grey but it was not good enough for a instant buy. It’s crazy how lighting and strap combo can totally change your perception of a watch. If this piece had a black bezel to give more contrast I really think I would have ordered one...(and also if I hadn't tried the Submariner the AD had for delivery 🤣). Cool first impression video but now I want to try it again 🤣
Big thumbs up for all the on the wrist shots - not enough of that from watch youtubers at present. Was this at the same building at the rolex service centre? In their reception by the chairs they have a giant magnifying glass, it's great

I haven't got one but don't they all do it? How many Speedy and SMP variants are there? How many submariner variants, DJ's etc. etc. ?

How could you compare the self cannablizing Omega next to Rolex?? Rolex takes care of its brand like no other.
There's 3 bb58s
@@mr.personal-ity I wasn't...
@@MT-kx2uc that's my opinion. You are entitled to yours. But keep the judgement to yourself. However, agreed on the Rolex bit.
Got mineast week. It is really a great watch. So stoked to have it on my collection 🔥
I really like the silver even if it doesn't make the snowflake disappear. Enjoyed the content. Good day.
Great Sunday Video. I did pick u a whiteTudor Chrono first and silver one just few days ago and by far the Silver is more amazing.
Glad you got it Adrian, they really are that good in person, it's a warm grey to grow old with, a future classic. Still waiting for mine due to a misaligned bezel :(
BTW the alloy is with palladium and one other secret ingredient. (That was part of the Rolex training info.) It's twice the hardness of regular sterling. Enjoy the watch
The readability (very important to me) is superb. Like it.
I do not like any of the previous Black Bay, I have always found some small detail that made me not like it 100%.
My favorite Tudor (so far) was the Pelagos.
Now ... I have a problem ... I am completely in love with this little piece of silver ...
If this came on a bracelet it would be the best BB58 so far :)
Good call. Would it be Silver though? If so, it’d be spendy...
Brilliant watch! Such a nice, subtle, unique piece. Very tasteful. I want one. Period.
Big thumbs up for all the on the wrist shots - not enough of that from watch youtubers at present.
Was this at the same building at the rolex service centre? In their reception by the chairs they have a giant magnifying glass, it's great
One of the best I have seen for a long time.
Beautiful timepiece. Outstanding review, congrats on your new addition.
the reason it is brushed is because it allows for more surface area and more possibility of interesting patina because of all the nooks and crannies.
