I really like the 925, even more so that most people seem to not like it. They took a flier with it and it kind of looks like it's a flop at this point so I wouldn't be surprised if they discontinued it in just a few short years. The fact that it's made of silver will make it a collectible oddity.
For me the original is still the king out of the three.
Same 👍👍👍
Couldnt agree more!! 👍
And the blue the most beautiful
I considered the original but didn't love it and bought an Omega. Saw the silver last week and feel in love with it immediately and purchased it.
@@brentchittenden1 SMP300m silver dial? If so, very nice indeed. Wear and enjoy your new watch in good health 👍👍👍
Gotta love those macros!! Hmmmm I got 76 grams for the 925 in my comparison but the same weight for the steel! I definitely feel the weight difference (just enough to know I'm wearing silver) but still wears pretty much the same on a nato in my experience.
Either way both are awesome and can definitely coexist in a collection 😄
Love your channel man! All the best to you and your journey! Don’t get burned out too fast ;)
@@SirMopy thank you so much, that means a lot to me!! Yes burnout is definitely something I want to avoid! Take care👍
Always enjoy your productions, my favorite format are your comparo
the cinematography is top notch as always
Great video. I picked up the BB58 Black/Steel on a bracelet last year and it quickly became my daily. I swim with it, work with it and it feels so comfortable on the wrist sometimes I’ve forgotten to take it off to sleep.
I can’t get myself to like Tudor none of them. I have tried my son lend me his BB had it for a month and nothing happened. I really like your videos,so much that I enjoyed this Tudor watch on it.
Absolutely. I was caught up with the hype, but then tried on a BB58, gilt chrono and a few others.... really didn't like them
@@Valera_Scotland same here - Seamaster 300 Co-Axial is so much nicer.
Sometimes I wish my black BB58 would have a higher contrast, there the pale appearance of the silver model just does nothing for me...also steel is just better suited for a durable everyday watch. On the other side, Tudor surprised most people with this release and did something no one expected.
Great review.
I love the fact that Tudor have continued to push the envelope on colour and metal choice for the BB58 range with Steel, Bronze Silver and Gold.
Thanks for that. Still sticking with my OG, the most charming vintage-feeling BB58.
Looks like grey is in this year, reminds me on the SPB201J1 Alpinist from seiko 🙌
Beautiful review as usual. I sold my GO SeaQ 39.5mm for the 925 and love the new Tudor. Better case & movement and equally unique.
The blue bay 58 looks awesome on you and is my pick of the 58 line so far
I don’t like the display caseback whatsoever.
Just picked up a 925 today. What an elegant piece. I'm a bracelet guy, so I was a littly wary. But trying it on, the grey nato strap is subtle, and very comfortable. Everything just works. Very happy with it so far.
Tudor No!!!
Nice video mate 🏄🏻♂️
The Tudor 925 is a stunning looking watch,i am about to order one today, and i also have the Tudor BB58 Black another beautiful watch, may i say your camera work is Excellent, Thank you 👍⌚
I have had my eyes on black bay for a long time. Bought a speedy cos I couldn't get it. Still whatver reservation people have against tudor not a lot of watches have a calling quite like tudor. Getting either of them will make your inner child very happy.
I like the subdued look of the silver model. What I'd want to see is how it is going to deal with tarnish over time.
I’m intrigued by the 925, especially since I am looking for a grey watch. It has a unique “washed out” look. I think it might look good with a grey suede or grey croc strap. Given the unusual case material and seeming lack of popularity, this watch might become highly collectible in the future.
Side by side, the silver looks awful. Silver doesn’t strike me as an appropriate metal for use in making a watch case.
Warning to all considering putting the bracelet on the 925 - silver is a softer metal than stainless steel. Over time, motion and flex of the end links of the bracelet creating friction against the 925 case may cause excess wear. The degree of wear is entirely dependent upon the amount of friction, which may be minimal and may not cause issues, but it technically can wear away the silver case. Would that make any noticeable difference over 50 years of wear? Who knows, I’m not a materials scientist. But it technically could, and that’s enough to stop me from doing so.
It's a watch wear it and see.no big deal.not super expensive
Absolutely love the look of the silver but silver brings me out in spotty rash. I'm getting a Tudor this weekend and wish the steel version came in a fully brushed finish, but you can't have everything.
It's a unique configuration using the silver and definitely a beautiful peice , but I still like my BB58 smiley face on bracelet the best out of all the BB models . It's thinner and the bracelet doesn't have the fake rivets . Just an altogether cleaner peice . Interesting video tho . Thanx for that .
This is such a perfect and wonderful video. I enjoyed it. Thank you very much 👌😎
Every time I look at the grey black bay
I feel like a layer of dust on my eyes
That tropical grey would work in a Submariner.
If I had the Black Bay 58 I would have to polish the sides of the case to the mirror finish it deserves.
Really love your camera work and details on the differences in aesthetics/dimensions. Thank you for doing this.
The 925 is a very interesting piece with all-brushed case, but a thicker profile kinda takes away the BB58 magic.
I tried blue 58 but liked Silver Bay far more. I just have steel bracelet on it and its perfect
WHY COULDN'T THEY MAKE THE 925 WITH A BRAACELET GOD DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great review, Hafiz, thank you. Think I still like Black Bay 41mm blue bezel the best.
Okay,
But,
but,
BUT no bracelet...!
The silver looks so much more striking to me in terms of dial and shade of metal. I just wish it came with a bracelet option. The current nato/leather strap options hold it back in terms of versatility. I'm also not a fan of when straps are made the same colour as the watch i.e. a blue strap with blue dial and blue bezel. It makes it very hard to pair with an outfit. Interested to see what the silver looks like on after market straps.
you can buy one tho
Another great video. Keep it up. I would love to see a silver bracelet to go with the watch, regardless of the weight.
Superb review and wonderful photography.
I have the BB58 it’s a great watch. Very tempted to get the blue one too.
Incidentally am I the only one to find Hafiz’s voice very soothing?
My thoughts exactly on getting the blue as well.
The only thing I would want tudor to add it make it a fully lumed bezel but thats just me
Please do a comparison of the new 36 mm Explorer to the old 114270. I’m interested to see them side by side and hear your thoughts about the choice of bracelet size that they chose to put on the new Explorer (19mm that tapered down to 14mm)
Not going to be easy. That new Explorer has a waiting list of 6 years.
Have the guilt bb58 and the blue , these new 58’s are not my cup of tea. Hopefully they discontinue the ones I have .
I have the blue and thinking about adding the guilt. Would be great for us if they got discontinued but I don't see this happening anytime soon as both have been a huge success.
Insane macro shots!!! Great video man.
Just wondering if your watch has started to show signs of patina/tarnish?
Great video...poor watch.. that case back? No no no.... no bracelet. Another no. More expensive too.... oh lord. It's definitely a no
Lol Tudor is for losers. Absolute rubbish.
@@gmshadowtraders ... said the real expert😂
needs to come with a sterling silver oyster bracelet. Rolex owns tudor and they make gold oyster bracelets for their gold subs. I like the concept that tudor has a silver precious metal watch and rolex has the gold ones.
I always like something a little different, so I bought the 925. I’m actually surprised by just how much I’m loving it! It looks like something really unique from a good distance, and it’s just different enough from other Tudors to stand out from the rest.
I can always expect Hafiz to deliver the content we need.
I’ve seen the latest BB58 in the flesh and it does look better than photos. That said, I don’t like it and wouldn’t waste my money on one. Given the hype surround BB58s, I was thoroughly underwhelmed and disappointed but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. The bulk of my collection is mid range watches but the BB58 just doesn’t do it for me, would totally be a backwards step for my collection
I have all of them the 925 takes the cake my friend its a stunner in person
Hi Hafiz, Your spoken english and vocabulary is perfect and we all know it, so I really wish that you would stop with the act, (purposely not saying the word THE sometimes) - your videos are amazing they stand out on their own with your honest style. I wish that you would drop the act that your english is not perfect. you dont need this gimic you are too good for it :)
Hi, can you review some paneari luminor due.. 38, 42 mm or both... maybe the anthracite color dial sandwich, or maybe a review comparison between the 38mm and 42mm with dial shots and wrist shots about 38 and 42mm to see the diferences ... thanks a lot
Hi, Hafiz! Don’t you think that the movement os slightly underproportionated in comparision to the case? Best regards!
All I want from the BB58 925 is the leather strap it comes with for my BB58 black as it has not got the annoying clasp which digs into wrists over 7 inches. The BB58 black is still the winner here.
Great vid. Who is buying this watch? The 58 in red would have flown off the shelf. Weak nato or leather on a vintage diver? Nah.........
Excellent review , insight comparing the bracelet of original BB58 on silver . I prefer the original fiber strap on silver . Just remove the strap to dry when wet and good time to clean any tarnish on silver case .
Is the weight 65 gr. correct? I searched on google with bracelet it its + - 130 gr.
What interests me is that when the silver eventually tarnishes, and surely it must do, will a polish to remove the tarnish also remove the brushing?
4:28 is the watch band wider than the lug width by a mm? Looks that way at the top and bottom right corner.
Really enjoyable and informative video.
I think that the see-through caseback was a cost saving option on the 18K model and tuder kept it on the silver watch not to make the new models dissimilar. Not the best movement to look at, so the stainless steel watches have the thickness advantage.
Didn't understand why it was called the 925 until i watched this video. I like what they've tried to do but I prefer the current steel versions
Someone know what the hands and markers are made of on the silver model?
Another great comparison ❤️ Tudor BB58 🤩
such an informative review!
I prefer the original steel Black Bay.
The silver looks superb. But the watch in its entirety looks bleached out and faded. I wish they had gone the full distance by offering it with a silver bracelet and somewhat brightened clear coloured bezel and /or dial.
A silver bracelet would have been a disaster. It's heavier than steel but much easier to scratch and dent.
Great review. So great to see a comparison v the steel.
The best watch channel on UA-cam !! Love the content
Great macro shots as always. Cheers...
I want both of them..
Great content as always. Congratulations
Great video.
Hafiz, I want to point out that the black-dialled 58 has a different colour of steel alloy than the BB58 Blue. Side-by-side, the BB58 blue is a much brighter steel... there is a very noticeable difference between the black and the blue.
its the same steel, just an optical illusion from the dial/bezel color. You can switch the bracelets and they look the same
@@drockkelly it's the same steel but definitely different colour
@@drockkelly the black 58 has darker steel and the blue 58 has brighter steel. It's not an optical illusion
Still like the blue one best. No belt again 😂
I find the silver watch charming, but I wish they'd gone for a browner shade. In pictures the taupe seems to just look gray.
Good work :-)
If the movement was decorated and shiny it would not go with the rest of the toolistic looks of the watch. I think it would look odd if it was polished and all jeweled up like some other movements out there.
I wish the 925 had a solid case back instead ☹️ Tudor watches just don’t suit them... or at least they aren’t good looking movements
Saving money. And keeping your skin from turning green.
I think the Tudor North flag was the first Tudor watch to display the MT caliber movement.
Nice comparison between a pure homage of Rolex Sub, with less personality, overpriced and with no exclusive movement. In my humble opinion, this 925 looks much better than the standard Bb58, but the starting point is a poor copy of other. The market offers much more!
Great points! I’m wait for you to do a vid of the black ceramic ... then I’ll make my choice
Superb video
Excellent!
