Love that you turned to God and asked for help as well as you were open to Gods grace and him showing you the way and when the truth was seen as when you looked up things in the catechism explained, you believed and trusted God and his truths revealed through and in catechism! We can trust God and we can trust the catechism of Gods Catholic church! ❤

I can relate so much to her description of Corina vs Cori. One of the ways the Lord spoke to me in my longing to be just plain Catholic was the title of a CS Lewis book which I had read as a teenager kept coming to mind: “Until We Have Faces.” I thought on how God is a Person and has a relationship with persons. I felt like a frightened judgmental persona was squashing my “Cori” making it hard for God to actually reach me.

I just attended an event with the Sisters of Life and they were handing out prayer cards with the Litany of Trust.
Trads like to brag about all the young people flocking to their parishes. It’s sad how many of us, like Cori, were kind of adrift, had this genuine thirst to learn and do the very best we could, and ended up being lied to and hurt in extremist environments. It’s such a hard thing to experience, and as grateful as I am to be out of all that physically, mentally it’s still a rollercoaster.
Thanks Cor and Laura! This interview was helpful. I found myself relating to the difference between where Andy was compared to Cori. Andy handled it much better than me. I’m wondering how long did it take until you both were in agreement? I may have missed it if it was said in the video.

Does the CMRI call what they grant annulments or do they give it a different name?
Yes, in my sister in laws case they did.
When you were with the CMRI did you ever meet brother Peter diamond?
No, but we did have a family of Feenyites come to our home for Mass and refuse to eat dinner with us afterwards calling us heretics. Funny thing is they took my meal to go 😂

Peter Diamond doesn’t like the CMRI
We left Feenyism and went back to our CMRI church and the Dimond brothers called us heretics. Everyone is a heretic in their eyes. Everyone that is, except their followers and strict adherents to them and Feenyism.
We have been friends and neighbors with sedes, SSPX, Feeneites, Resistance...
We raised our 7 kids in the NO, they are all still Catholic and are raising their kids that way. We will all attend both forms of the Mass although 3 choose to almost exclusively go to a Diocesan TLM or the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign priest parishes.
We also know many trads who left SSPX and are so glad. Some are coming to Bozeman for your event Laura!
