How providential. I finally picked up Bob Schutz book “Be Healed” today after stopping half way through several months ago. I’m exactly on the part of making inner vows. It was recommended to me, along with “Lord, Renew your Gifts” (I think that’s the title).
God bless you both. Keep up the good/God work.

I could listen to her for hours! Thank you so much for your wisdom and encouragement Sister! And thank you Laura for orchestrating this continued conversation. It is so immensely helpful for someone like me who’s in-laws are all mainly diehard SSPX and then my own parents are now ardent Sedevacantists. Now that my husband and I have returned to the Church (Praise be God!) we now find ourselves struggling with continued strife at times within the family regarding these issues and trying to discern how we ought to handle them with our in-laws. It’s a difficult road but content like this really helps. God bless you both.

God is in wise speech. Rhetorical kindness is secondary… just saying.

Brideling the tongue/brideling a horse. The metal bit the goes in a horse's mouth goes over his tongue. One type of bit is a snaffle which is jointed. When pressure is exerted by the reins, the bit clamps down on the horse's tongue.

From online photos, it appears that there are more CMRI Sisters than there are SMMC sisters. There are also more CMD sisters, also under Bishop Pivarunas, than there are SMMC sisters. Wondering how the growth rates of each compare.

Put this title in the UA-cam search box and make your own independent decision. "Sedevacantism Visualised"

I am sincerely trying to understand the position of Sister and the hostess, as to the "recovery process" that is needed here, when one makes a decision to attend a post conciliar parish, in union with the modern hierarchy, versus one following the Catholic faith with the pre-Vatican II rites. It doesn't seem any different from one who changes from a Lutheran church to a Methodist one, as far as the Protestant denominations go. Please help me to see the connection to the sedevacantist position. It is a rather recent term in the Catholic church, and I've never experienced any negativity myself in being on the more conservative side.
Are there really many people who are struggling with the issue? Are people in Sister's former convent treating her badly after 17 years? Didn't her family accept her decision to leave? If the former group was too rigid in doctrine for her, there are other options in the modern church where one can fit in. The modern church accepts all others. This internal struggle seems so painful. I do hope people in these trials can find peace. I will pray with them.
