Absolutely! I'm such a heavy bleeder that I will fill an ultra sized tampon and 2 overnight pads in 15 minutes. Although, I switched over to reusable pads (16 inch) and cups.

Hearing abt girls leaking through at school makes me soooo thankful I'm homeschooled😭 but I feel so bad for girls that go through that!😭
God I wish I was homeschooled. I was rlly embarrassing in elementary so now everyone just judges me based on how I was then. I'm in middle school now. I wish ppl would just forget abt it
Happened to me I leaked through in high school (twice) :(
1st time: I had on blue jeans when it happened and called my mom to bring me black pants to school lucky I had a hoodie so made sure to cover my bottom until I could change.
2nd time: Didnt hurt to much I was in dark black pants and it was small so you couldnt tell it happened (I made sure in the school mirror)
it was bad for me once, I was also home schooled but went to a school once a week. I was in 5th grade I think, only girl that seemed to have it, very conservative school. I was wearing light wash boot cut jeans, and leaked right on the middle seam. NoBoDy told me until I got home! I was so embarrassed, and my period had happened a week ago, like that stain had been thriving there for awhile😭😭 so I stain treated them, almost bleached them. and gave them away. never wanted to see them again 😑😞🙃

Lemme explain point #3. Basically a few situations could happen as you listed in this video. A) pad shifts when your body shifts B)pad was stored in a funky position for a while and got bent C) there is not sticky there ( this happens with generic pad brands. The sticky side is HORRIBLE! IT AIN’T EVEN STKY HALF THE TIME FOR ME!) hope this helps! ❤

YES ALSO I move around a TON in my sleep so by the time I wake up the pad is FUCKED and bent and fucking OW it hurts when it happens. :x
2:01 That happens to me 😔 the pad shifts and like flips up? Either the side or the back or front. For me, it doesn't really hurt luckily.

I LOVE how open and honest you are talking about this stuff! I just starting watching period videos to help my 13 year old niece be ready for it. I am now more than 10 years post menopause. Soooo glad I no longer have to deal with this. But seems there are new things available these days that were not around 10+ years ago (period panties, reusable pads, cups, discs...)
My school leave baskets on the side of the bathroom every cubicle filled with pads tampons, and reusable products. It’s so good if you period is early of it’s your first!!

@@JustSharon also, the pubes getting stuck to the pad is real. It happened to me a few times. Mainly with the pads that don't have wings because depending on how you are sitting, the side of the pad will fold up a bit. It has happened to me if my mom can't find pads with wings. It is the worst

I felt these 5 seconds (0:35-0:40) on a PERSONAL LEVEL. I was supposed to start my period December 25-27 but it just skipped all of December and came on JANUARY 1ST. New year starting off great🙄
THANKFULLY my first period was painless and i knew about it and was told how to put it on. I got it in my house too since it was in lockdown (Thank God it was or i would have been in school that time). From that time till now,my periods have been of little to no pain.

FUN FACT:
I don't know about other countries, but in the U.K there's this thing call Period Pants, and it allows you to have comfortable underwear to put you pad in. It is also used for double protection

It's not the same thing but 'Period Pants' made me think of my pj pants I wear during that time which I call them period pants

Got my first period on the 4th, your videos have really helped me to feel confident and happy during this “fun experience” lol.
I have a period story. When I was in 5th grade I got my period for the first time. I bleed through my pants and I was embarrassed. I asked the teacher to go use the restroom/ go to the nurse. Lucky my teacher was female, so she understood. I went to the nurse and I was so scared. Lucky she helped me out and gave me some pads and tampons and a pair of shorts. To this day they are my favorite people.😅
Yes the pad sticking to the pubes is a thing. Especially possible when you first change your pad and your pulling up your pants. The pad can fold back sometimes.
I'm 30 years old and I'm still learning to be confident about my periods. Guess what, I no longer care rather I accidentally stained my bed or not, it just happens. To be honest, there's no shame in dealing with blood stains, its not a big deal since they do come out with cold, soapy water or hydrogen peroxide. This means I need a bigger pad instead of panty liners because they aren't as absorbent as actual pads. When I was living with my foster mother while she's alive, she didn't get the right absorbency and I was in my teens at that time. She threatened to punish me for not sleeping with a towel under me. That's not cool. I've learned having a heavy flow is not my fault, it's been this way since I was 11.
Panty liners are for when your period is slowing down and coming to an end use pads or tampons for the heavy days but I would also use a pad to catch any blood that escapes your tampon

Yes, I have included periods in my stories as accurate as possible. Flushing, being angry, struggles,, pain, cramps, eating veg, or yoghurt because of the baloting feeling. Tired, Fatigue, sweating, munchies, mood swings. I am surprised this is happening myself and I did check out in the girls' groups that I am in and they said it is fine to include it, as long as I avoided the bad tropes and it accurately. Your channel has been a big help.

I am kind of panicking because my period tracker app says my heavy day is supposed to be on opening night for a show I'm in (the app has been super accurate in the past), and I have to wear light bottoms. Definitely binge watching your videos to help lol.

So I just turned 21 a few days ago and started my time of the month on my bday AND went into the year with it. The same thing happened on my 18th a few years ago. Just thought I'd share this very true story.

I’m 13 and got my first period last year in 6th grade in December, luckily I was at home but one first week I went to school and I leaked on a wooden chair 😭😭 I got so scared I wanted to ask someone to check me but I was too scared, and the rest of the day I refused to sit in a chair and when in my next class I knew I’d have to sit in one, I went through my locker looking for any hoodie or sweater because I couldn’t use the one I was wearing because I hadn’t ever shaved my arms or legs before and my I had really hairy legs and arms because of genes and I was never thought how to shave so I used the only sweater in my locker, a white one. That was my last class. Then I went home. I’m on my period rn. Usually on day 1, it’s like kinda light but not super light, and on day 2 it’s ALOT of blood, and on day 3 again, ALOT, and on day 4 (today) it goes away but then the next day it comes back. ALWAYS. That always happens, and I used to believe it was over after day 4 but nope. And I’ve had the blood plop out of me, like in the shower, and ofc I’ve used toilet paper for emergencies. Like when I got it a few days ago I was in a mall and I had to use toilet paper. And MY CRAMPS ARE SO BAD. I remember before I got my first period I had horrible cramps in my lower back for like 2 weeks and I didn’t know why. Now I know whenever it’s coming because a day before, I always get the horrible back cramps. And OMG the sweat one is so relatable. I be stressing that it bled through and I go to the bathroom and it’s nothing, I could talk about this for hours

My last year in college, I was having periods that would last for 15-20 days, some days, I was throwing clots a LOT. Like I got up one morning and walked down the hall (10 feet), down 16 stairs, and the 22 feet to the toilet ... on my way, I literally dropped at least 12 large clots (they were so heavy that they slipped out the leg hole of my undies and down my pant leg).
I did go to the doctor and was referred to a gyno, but the doc at least gave me a med to stop the period. Gyno put me on the pill (with iron because I was extremely anemic due to all of the bleeding).

Oh yes you're totally fine!! The water dilutes it (I guess is the word?) So sometimes it IS coming out but you can't see it cause it gets diluted from the water!! It could also just be that you happen to not be bleeding at the time you're in the shower! Hope this helps!! :) (also sorry it's like a year late)

Usaully when hair gets stuck its in the morning when a small part of the pad has bent over. Getting out of the shower is scary as I try to dry off fast enough. I constantly get that phantom feeling that I'm leaking, very recently I was at work, didn't know when I would get a break and felt that I was bleeding through, went through all that freaking out only to find nothing. One thing that was not in the list is not being able to tell if your hungry because of cramps. Whenever it gets to be meal time and I have cramps I can't tell if I'm actually hungry because cramps are stronger then hunger.
I'm watching this having cramps and I just know that my period is coming soon :( I started mine like 5 months ago and not a single month break lol

YESSS dont worry its normal happens to all of us!!! the cycle becomes normal after around a year after I got my first period I didnt get my second one untill 4 months later! then I got it twice in one month

About the using toilet paper in emergencies is so scary when it happens- a few years ago I was on a ferry with one of my cousins and my nana and I felt like I had to pee so I went to the bathroom and noticed I started my period and had to use toilet paper at the time. The worst part is that after we got off the Ferry we went to lunch and to a store so I had to change into a pad in a Tractor Supply bathroom 😅

The pad pube waxing phenomenon happens to me all the time 😔 AND i always feel those clots plop out- on the toilet or even just when im going about my life into my pad. They're not that big either, pretty small. weirdest thing to feel

the only time i've physically felt a blot clot come out of me was right after i had my c-section and i was feeling large blood clots come out it was disgusting and the weirdest feeling. I hated it. lol
