📌Read this if glitch is not working for you! Before you do the glitch you need to have your money close to 0. Just spam the mouse up and down press enter then reset the trade and you are golden. If you want to max out your money "buy"all the things from all the traders around the world. Then sell everything to one trader. Can confirm, this trick also works on the ps4/ps5 on the latest version, 1.04. However, I found that just pressing the down arrow while also pressing the x button worked better than up/down and x. Up and down still works, but I tended to switch menus a lot when pressing them really fast. (Context: I have a ps4 copy of the game, playing on a ps5. Updated to latest version, and tried the trick today.)

Bought all the good weapons and used the Albs glitch to get Alb Commander gear. I’m having a serious play through. This was just for research and speculation. Works like a charm

I was lvl 2 when I got the Alb armor. It only works on merchants that have less than 3 of any particular item. So if he has more than 3 of one type of item, it won't work. Just save before you try and it should work. If not, reload and try again.

I am very tempted to use this exploit, but I am going to hold off until the end game because I want to feel good about gitting gud! Yeah I would recommend that :) Personally I love how underpowered you start in gothic 1/2 and ELEX. It feels awesome to build up your character over time and face enemies that you could not before. Still for the second playthrough why not :) I honestly think that these bugs are intentional gothic 2 had that "bug" with crafting infinite amount of swords that you can sell. So technically an infinite money bug. I actually found an even better way in gothic 2 in a recent playthrough. If you have two swords in inventory and one is equipped and you sell sword to blacksmith you'll end up just unequipping the sword and still will have x2 swords so yeah that cool.

Confirmed Bug still not patched 2021. but i limited the exploit to just obtaining the expensive faction armor. that way it didnt ruin everything for me.. i just didnt want run around for hours Piggy banking elexit shards because i was tired of being the medieval dressed man in a cyber stronghold :D :D Thank you for bringing up this devious little bugger. while it was a blessing it should probably get patched :D

From my my experiance with PB games community tends to mantain games really well I hope elex get same treatment. I'm so happy that Gothic 2 can be played on modern PCs. I do go back and play it every few years for nostalgia :D

Also older games had a console that was easily accusable, where you could type commands to manipulate game. I miss that console in Elex maybe in Elex 2 but I doubt that. And it would not really be practical on xbox.

Guess they patched it because now you can't buy things if you don't have money for it also when you revert you just get your own money back instead of everything
You don't need it for this glitch. But I would not go for haggler over combat skills. You should get it if you plan to craft lots of pots but not early on in game. If you buy some natural elex with out haggler it not big deal :D you save 5e with level 1 haggler and 10e with level 2 haggler. So for every 10 natural elex you buy you get 1 for free if you have x2 haggler.

hmm I have not use that in while but it should be working even on latest patch. I did a quick looking around the internet people are still using this this exploit. Maybe you just need to move mouse faster or on different part of interface and maybe press enter faster or slow just try mixing it up a bit it should work.
It should work I have tested it on all versions of the game including the latest patch it is not fixed. Before you do the glitch use all of your money on something. To 'buy' things you need to spam the cursor over few items up and down and press enter on keyboard really fast. It is easier to do it on items that don't have stacks. Try on armors and weapons tab! Then reset the trade by pressing Z i think. I have to ask you are on PC right? I know that this should also work for consoles but I have not tested since I do not own one. Hope you manage to do it! Yeah I have seen people do it on consoles maybe try to find some one that shows it on console on UA-cam and ask them. If you figure it out let me know how you did it :)
Elex 1 is great,elex 2 is crap,no great towns,not a big map as in elex 1,few quests,few everything,the only better thing in elex 2 is better combat sistem and jetpack

I guess such bugs is a feature in PB games, I still remember the potion bug in gothic 1-2, was really helpful in the Returning mod

Thats kinda like the infinite smithing bug in Gothic I where you would buy stuff to smith swords and just spam enter through the smithing animation.

I had it to where i hade like 4 or 0 elexit left and it wouldnt work it wont say buy on the bottom i play on console but others somehow got it to work

Yep :) You do get full price not sell price when you reset that way I recommended resting but sure if you need something just accept the trade.
