ELEX is like that movie that comes out that you're 90% likely to skip but on that off chance that you DO see it you really like the story but wish someone would buy this man a camera and crew for godssakes! xD
@@Kuposaur ELEX. It's made so obviously incompetently that it makes me wonder if it's intentional, just to stand out. NO ONE is THIS bad without a significant amount of "help." xD
@@Kuposaur Ah. Yes. The constantly self aggrandizing rapper. Believe it or not that bit loses just a touch of it's mirth upon the 1,234,343rd iteration. :3
there are two different locations just outside the dome city one of which lets you see all mobs/animals on your minimap. Which i believe are more important to new players
there is a stim recipe for immunity booster. you cannot buy it or the immunity booster stims anywhere, so getting it from this location and making your own is the only way to get this stim. it is on a table near Volkmar, a cleric, you can meet during an Outlaw quest, or by simply exploring. to get it you either do a grab and run (reccomended early on) or kill Volkmar and loot it from the table when noone else is looking. the location is the isle by the coast in southeast Tavar, that is connected via the two bridges. with immunie booster you get 100% status effect immunity for a certain amount of time. very convinient to loot some places. yes there are multiple items reducing certain damage types, but this one does it all in one and you don't even have to ditch the sunglasses for a mask. someone probably already mentioned: Mortal Beam is, imo, the best ranged weapon. it's a laser rifle with 106 damage. that is lower than the war bow, but it can shot a 3-shot-salvo that does more damage. but mortal beam also needs high attributes and is strength-dexterity based (needs 83 strength!) instead of dexterity-intelligence based like other laser weapons. I currently replay this and I get Trolls to respawn on a regular base at level 25.
Thank you for this very helpful video! By the way, there IS a replenishing-bread-vendor in the Hort. Siegfried, in the first building to the west of the assembly line (red lights and labelled Maintenance). He sells 18 at a time, and I love buying, then immediately talking & buying again.
You great vids man you have helped me find many things I've missed on my four ventures through this game so let me add this for you with the elex potions you can buy liquor from any bae vendor and ... there is a sepretist named falk I believe in the domed city back bye the shipping containers to the right of the farm who sells natural elex in case you didn't know
Hey glad you liked it. I have a quick crafting tutorial here ua-cam.com/video/s46MLIA0stI/v-deo.html. Basically learn crafting from Alrik then go to a work bench. The best way to level is to do the main story quests. They give massive amounts of exp. You can do all the different faction quests but it will take a lot of time.
Yea but the exp potions only give 100 so its not worth it. Elex drinks give +2 attribute points... these are the ones you want to craft. Keep in mind using these drinks increases your cold. Cold lets you make different choices throughout the game.
Kuposaur is there a way to reset my atribute points? And also do the sun glasses have 10 armor or not? Sry to many questions man I'm new and I like people that help me personally like you! Continue the good work
Same here, started playing recently but already about 25 hours in and only level 6 (I'm the dumb exploring kind of gamer) and making Duras my permanent companion made a change and allowed me to beat bigger beasts.
ooo i dont knew about respawn system , i'm still in 1 chapter (my first attempt i never done game) and i have 20lvl i trying get 25lvl for pladin armor ;D and with good eq start do main quests ;D
Hi Kupo, I just finished ELEX being a Cleric and now checking out Risen 3 for a while before I come back to ELEX to play other factions. Do you have any plans in mind to cover Risen 3 in the near future?
Yes. I am going to be working on some new projects now that I pretty much finished Elex. Right now the plan is to play through Risen 1 2 and 3. I am also going to be playing through a second game at the same time to try and reach out to a broader audience. I expect to be doing Risen and Star ocean 4 very soon. Eventually I want to do Gothic content too.
I promise I'm not trying to be super critical here, so please don't take my comments too harshly. But when I see a video with things beginners should know, I would expect to learn combat tips, general build strategies, or things about the world to help you survive. I wouldn't expect... to learn where a pair of sunglasses are halfway across the map. Just sayin'. These aren't really "beginner" tips. These are "so you've been exploring for a while and want to know where some cool stuff is" tips.
I 100% disagree. The video shows arguably the best source of food that will help struggling new players with healing. The sunglasses highlight loot, it's very easy to miss loot so why not just pickup the sunglasses... it's really nice to know they exist. I do talk about build strategies in tip #3 as I show one of the best guns in the game and explain how the stats required to use it are synergetic with the gun passive abilities to increase damage. Tip #4 answers the most asked question at Elex launch, do monsters respawn? People wern't sure if and how it worked so I took the time to answer this question. Knowing how respawns work is a great benefit for new players because it creates an opportunity to farm exp or money. Tip #5 goes into the build strategy again, I show where the best bow is and explain that melee is very unforgiving and the bow pretty much breaks the game. tip #5 is very relevant because you can pick this bow up before you get to the first town. Tip #6 and #7 cover ways to get enough stat points to actually equip your weapons. Knowledge of stat boosting equipment and stat boosting consumables equip a new player with the tools to actually equip their weapons at a reasonable level. In conclusion, i'm 100% sure you didn't watch the video, probably just clicked around and didn't get what you wanted in 15 seconds. I say this because I literally had the information you expected in your comment. For example, you wanted combat tips and build strategies. I gave combat tips and stat synergetics for the gun, and in a later tip I gave a warning about melee combat and showed the location of the best bow in the game. You wanted "things about the world to help you survive", arguably the best food recipe doesn't count? Stat boosting accessories and legendary weapons don't count? Just so you know, weapons in Elex require x amount of stats to equip. With my tips a player can equip weapons 5+ levels ahead of time. You didn't watch the video, and you probably arn't gonna read this whole response. This isn't intended to be negative, it is just the stating of facts. I wish you the best and hope you have fun in Elex.
1) 00:12 Bloody Burger Recipe
2) 02:46 Sunglasses
3) 04:12 Roof of converter loot

5) 08:08 Melee is hard, get ranged weaponry.
6) 10:18 Rings and Amulets that can help with ranged weaponry.
7) 13:50 Elex Potions

Yea PB games are truly full of jank and lacking in polish. I said WHO as a Mike Jones joke. The rapper ya know? Haha

Every tips video for this game is like around 20 min or longer. I love this game! Thanks!
Thank you for the comment. I had a lot of fun doing content for Elex.
I'm playing through it again before I play Elex 2 :)
sounds is 2 quiet

O thank you so much for the info. I thought I was unable to buy anymore. Love those bloody burgers :)
You're welcome! Thanks to you, I know the delicious-ness of those bloody (good) burgers. :)
Good video 👍. What’s the best early game weapon and where can I get it from???? Thanks
Thanks for the advices! Will begin this game tonight!
Awesome hope you have fun!

I'm only adding this because he is the only one of two I've found but he's the easiest to find at the start I believe he also sells the recipe
usually the higher your lvl , the respawn also increases in lvl
Hey man nice video loved it can you tell me how to upgrade weapons? I'm new to the game also a way to lvl up fast would be nice 😎

Kuposaur I just need enough for to get my stats high enough for the war bow : D

Thanks for the info, cuz I'm having a hard time especially in combat
Same here, started playing recently but already about 25 hours in and only level 6 (I'm the dumb exploring kind of gamer) and making Duras my permanent companion made a change and allowed me to beat bigger beasts.
Thanks for the tips man that helped out a lot
No probs! Glad it's helpful. Have fun!
couldnt watch this cuz the volume level is too low ...
What’s that sweet red cloth armor and how does one acquire it???
I think that's the Elexetor armor. I have a video on how to get it. Gotta beat the game with a certain cold level if I remember correctly.
I'm sorry i actually think that is the regent armor. Obtained at the final level of the cleric faction. Sorry it's been a while since I played.
ooo i dont knew about respawn system , i'm still in 1 chapter (my first attempt i never done game) and i have 20lvl i trying get 25lvl for pladin armor ;D and with good eq start do main quests ;D
Helpful but your audio is too quiet. I listen to most channels on a volume between 40 and 60 but I’ve got you on 90 and you’re still very quiet.
Yea I've turned my mic up since then. Audio has been an issue on some of my videos. hopefully I got it sorted out now. Thank you.
Turn the mic volume up

What's the code to the boc
You find a better weapon than that in ignadon in the ruins
amazing job
Thanks! Welcome to the community :).
tip 3: i just sold the redeemer weapon cause i needed money to buy the 2nd Cleric Armor and thought come on it aint gonna be that good xD fuck
what faction did you join?
Hey I have done all 3 factions. My first was Berserker. My Favorite is Clerics because of the range damage buffs.
WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?
Sorry, I just realised, she is Martha.
I'm sure you have some great tips, but I can't hear you at all
Helpful but needed headphones to hear you

Level scaling in PB games? what a joke they have become.
cant hear shit.bb
Melee really hard? Nah, difficult to start with but by about level 10 it's easy. You must be a console button masher :p
bad advice, makes it uninteresting showing all the cool items
