📌In this guide I'll show you how to craft elex potions. Those are Small Elex Drink (+100 XP), Elex Drink (+2 Attribute Points) and Strong Elex Drink (+1 Skill Points). I'll show you where you can get recopies / instructions. Also where you can get materials and where you can craft them. I forgot say that you can learn chemistry skill from Alrik in berserkers town.
It’s not that hard to reduce your cold. I drank about 300-375 elix drinks and 30 or so strong elix drinks. But when I had drank around 200 elix and 9 strong elix, ONE decision dropped my cold from 79 “mellow” to 0 “purely emotional” - ONE decision. That was talking to the Berserker trainer at Goliet for an early quest. That’s when I decided to drink for a total of nearly 400 elix drinks and I’m at neutral (because I want melee damage bonus). The drinks do not outweigh the decisions you make. Conversations don’t all affect the meter the same, some decisions weigh more than others - but the drinks do not cost a lot of cold

I'm mellow. In Ulbricht's Big Offensive quest, my cold level is very high and i can't select to Ulbricht follow me to survive. Know you how cold nivel is necessary to select this option? "The Risk of losing the highest Judicator is just to great. Stay here and fight with us. (Cold Value too High)"
It's been long time sice my last playtrough. In general if you want all options keep cold around neutral. That said don't worry to much about cold value 😜 just enjoy the game you can always replay it sometime later on.
am around 40+ hours and my cold now is neutral .... i had drank elex drinks but not too much .... but planing to do since i need attribute points for my gears, my question is is there anyway to decrease cold?
Only from quests. There is no drink for reducing cold. Still, you can reduce ti a lot along the way but you are a bit limited with what you can do for quests if you want to always get a reduction in the cold.
@@Rognnar i drank more elex and now my cold got a bit lower (intuitive) ... i think i was mistaken elex drink will decrease the cold not increase it so ... i need somehow to make a balance coz i think i need to drink alot of elex for attribute points since state going hungry after 50, it need around 5 AP for 1 state point, and that really crazy xD
Yeah, but it's Not good If you want to have all skills and high attributes and low cold for the cleric ending(the one with Killing the hybrid). Because there arent enough quests with choices so decrease the cold level to 0
You can still drink a lot of them before you run into that problem. In my playthroughs, I got it to 0 even tho I had drunk some elex drinks. You just have to balance it out and not overdo it early on.
@@Rognnar yeah but at this way how is it possible dir all skills? If you keep it balanced, ist it really possible? Maybe how much Elex potions and high Elex potions i need for it?
@@kennyschneider8852 really not sure it's been a long time since I played elex just know it can be done. Either way, you don't have to max out everything to pass the game.
@@kennyschneider8852 You can get to all 60 stats with just levelling and you can get Regent Sword/Chainsaber/Horned Sword 3 at STR+DEX 63/64/62 respectively. Thats 60+dualskill ring/amulet. Pair them with a good combo element and you are set. You can finish the game with less than this. But for more you need pots. I mostly do Strong pots to unlock skills so the impact on my cold is minimal. If I recall correctly 20 Stats from pots equal to 1 cold level.
I did some testing but I can't really tell you exact number. Depends on what you use to get cold value up. One thing that I know and it is well documented is that Elex Drink that one that gives +2 attribute points will rise your cold by 0.1 point per bottle. I am not sure but maybe Strong Elex Drink gives more. But it depends what you need. I would not use just regular natural elex coz you don't get any value that way. If lets say you start from normal value around 50 and you want to get to +100 for synthetic. And you where to drink elex drinks you need 0.1*10 for + 1 cold then * 50 cold levels so 500 elex drinks. To make long story short a lot :D But if you use them for points and attributes you are going to be OP so you can farm up natural elex from mutants some of them drop x6 natural elex so it not that hard. I am going for synthetic in my cleric walktrough so I'll test it more. Hope this helped you :)
ohh if that is the reason you don't have to go to synthetic :) I think you need just bit above neutral. But did you try the neutral option. One that does not require cold values. I think he also does not die that way. I think I did not kill him in my outlaw walktrough and I was using neutral option.

im increasing my cold lvl so kallax wont die........but as it seams he will have to cause i dont have the time to farm so much

It might even work with neutral just like 51 or so. I did not like test it but i think you need -49 for emotional and 51+ for cold option
If you end up testing it out please tell me :D I'll test it in my cleric walktrough but it wont hurt to know in advance.
Elex potions break the game. The game is doable without Elex drinks. Even at ultra difficulty.
