Firstly you don't actually need to be pure emotional(as in 0 cold) to get the emotional ending. Thus even if you're going for the emotional ending you can still afford to drink a bunch of elex drinks, assuming you pick the cold deceasing option in every dialogue that is. So the question isn't to elex drink or not to elex drink but how many do you drink. So yeah, the animal trophy route is superior, its only downside is that it doesn't synergize with the traditional Outlaw weapons, mostly the heavy weapons but also most melee options. Nobody is forcing you to use Outlaw weapons however and eventually you will get enough attributes everywhere to be able to use whichever weapon you want, so it's only a question on how soon do you get your ultimate build online.

It’s not that hard to reduce your cold. I drank about 300-375 elix drinks and 30 or so strong elix drinks. But when I had drank around 200 elix and 9 strong elix, ONE decision dropped my cold from 79 “mellow” to 0 “purely emotional” - ONE decision. That was talking to the Berserker trainer at Goliet for an early quest. That’s when I decided to drink for a total of nearly 400 elix drinks and I’m at neutral (because I want melee damage bonus). The drinks do not outweigh the decisions you make. Conversations don’t all affect the meter the same, some decisions weigh more than others - but the drinks do not cost a lot of cold

I feel like this was a tutorial in how NOT to use a bow 😂 I use Warbow 3 and Scattershot when surrounded, with multiple targets, or for up close on a big enemy - but usually I’m shooting at range with the normal arrows. Sniping. Choosing targets carefully and making sure I don’t have a whole crowd if possible. THAT is how to use a bow, imho. You’re either ranged or you’re up close; I prefer ranger and the Warbow destroys without effort. It’s so OP it’s almost boring - so once I have 1-2 enemies left, if I’m bored, I’ll go in with a 2H or 1H and shield. I got the Commander’s armor at level 3, but I need to make that amulet for Last Stand still. Otherwise Jax in my playthrough is sniping his way around Magalan and deleting everything safely 😂 Just like a special forces sniper who keeps his armor clean

They made this amulet too OP though. It should be a consumable item, not one you just re-equip once you use it. But it’s a definite life saver. Literally

Oh nice - so you get the Last Stand ability the Clerics teach you but without joining their faction. Very good for tougher fights

Just use the Thief’s Amulet for the skill, easy enough

Tyvm now I have all the sunglasses, I found all your videos on them and apparently they put various ways to get different items.

My search lead me to get 3 other kinds of sunglasses 😂 Ones that highlight all enemies on the map can be found in a garden/farm just south east of Dome City, on top of a small structure by the farm itself

I've only just discovered KCD (somehow) and bought this first game. I'm SO glad you made this series man! You did a really good job on it. Thank you so much - I was stuck on the prologue, from not realising I had to double-tap SHIFt to gallop on a horse to having no idea how to get lockpicks and loot things etc. You've helped a ton.

For the Rippers at 6:10, you can lure them to where Levin is; there's a big robot there that can make short work of them. You just have to make sure that Levin doesn't die.

Regarding the four cannibals whom you've to kill in order to rescue Jack, it's possible to cheese kill them by drawing your weapon next to one and aggro ing and then killing each of them individually.

It is possible to sneak past that creature shown at 26:00 and get both plants next to it, was able to do it in Difficult mode.

There is a set order to the rebuild before you can choose a preference.... 1. woodcutter camp (needed for lumber for bridge and road and trader) 2. bridge and road (needed for trader) 3. trader (needed to import stone, charcoal, livestock, grain) After you have those 3 built, you have materials available to choose whichever building you prefer. The general preference are the most profitable buildings. The extended rathaus provides access to Henry's magic storage chest, but the rathaus does not provide income. The church does not bring any income but is required to complete the quest. Hiring from a set list of NPC will increase income. Completing a series of Judgement quests will also affect income for better or worse.

Not at all what I was looking for. This game is just as confusing as Gothic when it comes to directions. All these quests I get at the beginning so I assume they're starter quests but no, most of the enemies in the quest area are destroying me without breaking a sweat.

There are roughly 80 side quests and activities in the basic game (not including the DLC). Roughly half of those become available with the main quest Awakening when Henry gains access to the entire game map. The other half unlock gradually during the main quest progression. Some side quests are timed and will fail if you exceed the deadline. Avoid that problem by accepting only one or just a few quests at a time. Don't accept a quest until you are ready to follow it to completion. There are very few quest chains that lock you out of an alternate quest chain. Only 3 of the activities are ongoing and can be repeated as often as you like. The last 10 main quests are end game, a cascading sequence of events. Many side quests and activities become unavailable once you begin that final sequence with the main quest The Die is Cast. That is a last chance turning point. I think the game world itself becomes unavailable to any given Henry once he passes a certain point in the very last quest.
