Never played a PB game before, but with Elex i'm having a blast, if you can get past some clunky mechanics you will find a really really good and challenging game
I've played all PB games before and it's the same, I'm having a blast so far. Sometimes I like just free roam and explore sessions and sometimes work on the missions. It's awesome to go early to places where you're obviously not supposed to and find some cool loot (ie. got a pair of glasses which highlight all items around me, even through walls)
They should've called it ELEX: Prepare to Die Edition. Once I started travelling in openworld on lvl 4, I died more than I did in DS! Every damn creature killed me with 1-2 hits...
Thanks, great advice. My tips are:- Beware when you trade as you can accidently sell your equipped items. Happened to me. Combat is similar to Dark Souls/Bloodborne - as in the timing. Check the enemies timing for an opening. Remember the special move gauge in the bottom left corner of the screen. Upgrade your stamina as soon as possible as it allows more attacks.
Seeing the title and before even watching the video only one word comes to mind, FLAMETHROWER! = Win. And yeah, I was killing top tier enemies at lvl9 with that thing. You get it for less then 600elex at the Clerics home base and the fuel is really cheep to, same as 1 arrow.
You can steal it from their armory. Not sure if the one you buy is better, but I found the free one wasn’t as good as Widowmaker, against mobs in Tavar. Maybe they had high fire defense, but I wasn’t impressed
Exactly right. Ignore all these so called publications giving microtransaction and loot boxes games >90% reviews. They've all been bought out. Games like Elex are where it's at.
Thanks for your vids and all your effort to get good publicity out for Elex. I'm personally lvl 18 and 24 hours in roughly and man I'm loving it.. after hour 10 this game really starts to shine
I'm playing on easy and couldn't imagine going to a higher difficulty. You'd have to be a serious glutton for punishment to enjoy the higher difficulties. It's definitely not "too" easy. I still get wrecked constantly, and i'm a pretty seasoned rpg'er
Easy is way too simple your going to be many hours in and not able to change that. You should just adjust the combo difficulty sliders and such as that which can be changed any time in the game and make combat much easier.
Yeah, enemies are pretty strong, but it's very intentional. You had to get some levels in different villages doing various quests (use roads, run fast), then go into forests.
Eh, its pretty easy if you manage stamina properly, dodge roll attacks and jetpack to refresh stamina and chip away at whatever you're attacking. Big things like trolls or mobs gets more complicated but its normally possible to kite stuff away and 1v1 them.
I found an area that had a troll, I avoided it and found a Reaver camp. I ended up leading about 12 of these guys back to the troll, and let him kill them all for me. Ended up getting like 500 elexit, plus some other good stuff from their corpses. Only got experience from a couple of them, unfortunately, but still it was pretty awesome watching that battle. Also, in the video you can also sneak past the robot to get that club.
Learn alchemy as soon as possible and dont drink little Elex potions! it is only 100 EXP. but you can mix two into a stronger one, that give you 2 atribute points and two of those into a strong potion that give you 1 skillpoint. at the beginning getting more points to learn new skills is essential. at the point where every atribute is at 30, you may change from more skill points to more attribute Points. because the costs for raising atribute increases from one point to two points and later (i think at 50 or 60) to even 3 points.
I have one problem in this game so far and that is that the special dialogue options early in the game requires you to have for example (2 survival) or whatever and that annoys me because it’s hard to level up those skills so early in the game
I just bought Elex now in sale 2019. I absolutely LOVE it!!! Finally a challenge! I love it, when you have a lot to learn and get killed in the beginning. I love this game even more than Assassins Creed or Resident Evil - which I like so much.
Never played a game like this before. I’m coming from fallout and skyrim type open world games. Those games baby you compared to this and there’s no combat skills required compared to this. I love this game, it’s such a challenge.
You just made me start a new game. Because I fucked up on my first game, and now my second beyond repair. So this helped a lot, maybe this time I can do better. Because I’m really loving this game. Thanks man

love the game, cousin bought it on ps4. played it too lvl 11 and now im debating to buy on steam... becous fps drops on console etc. its hard, but it gets so mutch fun when ur higher lvl and u got a shield etc
The first 10 hours of this game are a little rough ....you have to pick your battles and run from others but once you have leveled up enough its a lot of fun and exploring this huge map seems never ending with quests being found in all different areas.Nice video by the way!
I love this game! real rpg elements, and events take place from your actions. Useful gear, you see all the time in showcases/ shows where in a game they switch items often adapting to a situation, this is the 1st game where it's essential to have multiple set of gear for different circumstances. The game is hard for me half difficulty, half janky and unresponsive combat, but its still so rewarding when you finally kill that enemy thats made you reload your game 20 times.
"easy is too easy." You're joking right? I'm playing easy right now and I'm getting my ass kicked. Hell, even the early equipment in this game is way too demanding with it's stat requirements. I only get 10 attribute points per level up. I can't keep up with this BS.
even easy is pretty hard at the beginning, but you will get so fucking strong in the game. so in the mid game easy mode will be way to easy. i recommend play on easy and after 8h play time put it on normal. in end game u will kill even those trolls in a few hit on normal mode.
thats the problem is ive pretty much done all the quets i can find in all the towns, i dont know what to do; i guess ill figure it out though. clerics and their delusional brainwash is annoying, but since ive heard theyre the most op its probably worth it, im a berserker
Have you been to origin? thats easy xp, so are companion quest's. Doing ray's companion quest is about 10k xp and isn't that hard. Doing the separatist stuff is quite a bit of xp too.
In hardest difficulty I kept getting killed by the first enemy I encountered which is one of those burnt oversized turkey things. It's just impossible. There is a secret area in the start where u can find a great amulet by the way which is where the first enemy is. Those who actually know PG games know exploration is rewarding. I wonder how many people found the treasure of the rock dragon in Gothic 2.
An other tip that seems to be dismissed by many: the shield is a surprisingly good weapon! with a strong attack you shield bash an enemy for some damage and a high bonus on knockback and stamina reduction on the enemy. smaller ones can be knocked to the ground by a single bash. giving you time to strike quick or heal some HP. And the shield protects more of your Hitbox, than just your weapon if jumping away is no option.
My Tips: Buy the Good Eater skill in Survival, makes a pretty big difference in how much HP food restores. Find the High-Tech glasses, they give you sixth sense, which makes enemies visible on the mini map. This helps a ton. Get the Animal Trophies skill in Survival, increases the drop rate of bones/teeth/hides/all the stuff you can sell, you make way more money with this perk. TURN OFF AUTO LOCK by pressing x
Also when you see an enemy about to charge or attack you can evade and roll *towards* them, instead of using your jetpack. And with the big robot to grab the weapon i was able to just sneak behind it!
You can actually do a custom difficulty which is a great feature. I keep most aspects on normal and change just the battle difficulty to easy and am enjoying the game much more because of it.
The good thing is that your damage raises with every hit you land and you can use the last bit of your stamina to do extremely high damage even on the larger monsters.
You just have to learn it. I have about 60hrs on Risen and the fight mechanic is really similiar, so it is not a problem for me to fight. I destroyed 3 albs (1 by 1 tho! Fighting more than one enemy with skull is suicide) at one of the outpost on level 9 or 10...
Just killed the "first" two Albs you fight at the Edan Converter at level 6, wasted all my arrows and potions, still can't craft anything, but I did get some sweet Alb spells
Never played PB game. Decided to try on hard without knowing anything about game, I like to play games on hard. First few hours it's sod amn clunky, but I see the potential and I like the world so I promise myself to not stop. I hope I will start loving it, it has huge potential for me. Some really nice things in it that I like.
Great tips. 👍 Having a blast with it so far. Refreshing game from all the mainstream AAA titles out there. One slight immersion breaker for me is the strange choice by PB to include earth based wrecked cars like Hummers and similar tech. This is not supposed to be earth, so why not be creative about it? No big deal, but a little strange non the less.
i played first gothic, and every other gothic for the record , and risen . its completely normal for all their games to have tiered difficulty on enemies, solved by tiered progression of armors and weapons. once u get new stuff, a whole group/type of enemies becomes killable, and to do that u need to go with story quests and exploration. feels natural for me. only problem i have is lack of data. id prefer to c clearly how much dmg i do or take and what are mine and enemies exact stats, kinda like in dark souls or fallout 4. otherwise it feels like game arbitrarily cheats on u. its probably all fine under the hood. I wouldnt mind to have at least an option to turn on combat log like in baldurs gate or toggle hp numbers on enemies to be more aware what is going on
you can buy the stack of arrows, then trade again with the same merchant and buy another stack, rinse and repeat for unlimited arrows, if you've got the money. (once you join the berserkers they sell arrows for 1 gold instead of 2 gold)
just sneak and approach from the back of the big machine. that way it will probably not notice you and you can get the weapon and withdraw without getting shot. before you follow Duras, use the elevator back up again, then use the jetpack to get to the upper levels of the satellite station. there's some nice loot there. just be thorough... or return there after you got the special sunglasses. some enemies like jackals, horned wolves and rippers sleep at night, so you can circumvent them by sneaking or running by during nighttime. want up get a leg up? "cheat ", by getting the location of the special sunglasses that let you see loot better and make a run for it. the only reason to raise attributes is to get skills and equip weapons. the general description of the attributes are not sound (at least in german). do not upgrade the weapon you currently use without checking if you meet the _new_ requirements in attributes you need to use them after the upgrade. sometimes it's better to upgrade a weaker weapon as intermediate weapon to use untill you have the attributes to use the stronger upgraded weapon. get animal trophy skill as soon as possible to get more cash, unless you want to use one of the two Elexit glitches. Chemistry is also a skill worth while investing in early, to make potions and money. Elexit, the currency in the game, is needed for everything, not only buying stuff and paying to learn skills, but also to upgrade weapons. And that is NOT cheap. You'll also have to buy your faction armor after you raise in ranks. the only part that is free is the lowest rand chest piece. you also cannot find those armor parts, because they are faction locked. the end of the game depends on your warm/cold level.
If you ever played gothic, you will like elex ,the game play and mechanics might feel like a 10 years old game yet it's beautiful game. As piranha byte fan, give the game little time until you level up and become stronger, after that the game will become enjoyable.
As for the quest with Korin's weapon - you can even sneak behind the machine and take the weapon - not sure if it was a bug, but it worked for me, so that's it.
I love elex! It reminds me of an obsidian game but dark souls difficulty, can't stress how much fun I have in the game, I honestly lose track of time when I play it.
I have now managed to get to lvl 26 and have bought the full set of the Clerics lvl 25 Regent armor. It costs 20,000 Elexit to buy the Chest Piece, 5,000 for the helmet, and 5,000 for the legs. So a total of 30,000 Elexit to buy the full set. Unless you have the haggling ability. I had rank 1 haggling so it cost a total of 28,500 Elexit instead.
Yeah you can sell cigarettes, old world money bundles, and scraps like goblets and stuff. Just save a little of everything in case a quest-giver wants you to give him some.
Notice he uses bow also to Target enemies in the distance which will tell you if they are Skulls are not. You need the bow to target enemies far away to see the energy bar for them and kinda how tough they are. Use right mouse and you won't fire.
Just started playing again after a couple years. I always forget to use the jetpack in combat. Personally I love going to the Outlaw city and buying all the hand granades. The stagger keeps the more annoying targets at bay. Even in early game you can kill trolls. Just takes 50-60 of em lol
Also good run and get the dual skill ring and survivalist amulet. Just use the jet pack and take paths to avoid the enimies. Also get the sunglasses at the same time. Will dramatically help your game if you pick up these 4 items straight away then teleport back.
Been playing at ultra, best tip is that every enemy has a stamina bar below their name. Waiting for them to waste their stamina before attack as attacks drain their stamina (also happens to you so beware) so attacking an enemy while their stamina is empty keeps them from attacking til you run out of stamina. Also killing bugs and rats get a small amount of exp but they aren't aggressive
The jet pack is very handy if you find yourself overwhelmed ,was level 8 and walked over the into the middle of a fight with 5 raptors a moloch 3 berserkers 3 spine hounds 2 rotboars and something with heads growing all over it’s body that moves very fast I jet packed to safety and watched them maul each other
Don't really agree with the whole jet pack and shooting thing, most enemies have much higher damage from range. If you can get down the combo system with melee weapons you can kill just about any enemy. Bigger enemies take patience is all... that being said, I was new to PB and this game made me rage until I figured out the combo meter. Now I feel dumb 😂
If you must fight a strong enemy due to a task of a quest just use handgrenades. No requierments to use handgrenades. They deal 50 damage. 2 Grenades for a Raptor or Alb-Solidier or 4 Grenades for Kolossos. The only disadvantage is that you have to make your way to the outlaws fort to purchase them.
I dont know if it would be too much spoilers. But you can get early some exp amulets for Quests and for Monsters. So its not much but all adds up. And even 5% of the exp means alot at the end of the day. And this amuluts are free to get even as lvl 1.
Arx - best companion and so easy to get! And he's an awesome Alb as well! He's close to the Domed City, you will most probably encounter him when you're solving the Berserker murder.
Kurgath Caja is better. Arx has a flamethrower that can knock you down and get you wrecked. Caja does more damage with her fire spells and has the same dot as the flame thrower. Her melee isn’t as powerful per hit but her weapon poisons which does more damage in the long run.
i don't know if this a valid tip, but it worked for me: rush 3 charisma points early on, so you can get some quests done without any conflict. then, at least 2 points in combat, then survival or crafting. usually crafting dialog options require too much (4 and up) points, and not choosing that didn't really put me in a bad position...
If you wanna do that, go to the outlaws buy drugs to temp boost charisma, or whatever stat you need and do quests without wasting points in cha that you don't need
Grenades are the best for early game . Just remember to change them so they go off on contact. Buy a lot of them . Can easily kill more powerful enemies if there not to many around you.
I finished the game on hard, but i made couple mistakes at the beginning. You should focus on quests more then on anything else and you should always take ur fellow with u, they can help u a lot in fights. If u don't like the close combat mechanics i would recommend you to go for ranged weapons, thats much less clunky and more powerful. In late game u can use the skill animal trophies to farm gold and pure elex.
You play really good! But how do you get so many arrows?? In one battle here you use more arrows than I find in playing for 8 hours. Also do you have an upgrade on your jetpack to fly so long. You seem to be staying in the air about twice as long as I can?
GreenGuy its because games are no longer a niche hobby, they are mainstream entertainment just like a blockbuster movie, the audience and demand and technology and everything else has changed
Yep, they just want to run around and oneshot everything, and if they can't defeat an enemy they rage quit immediately and say the game sucks. That's why most RPG franchises have turned into action shooters stripped of all RPG elements, like Fallout 4 and skyrim for example.
Jǫrmungandr at least with fallout 4 and skyrim you can turn the difficulty way up or fight higher level enemies, in Skyrim the giant trolls can one shot you at the beginning. in fallout the deathclaws can 2 shot you in general
games have become mainstream, which means bigger corps, which means more money pulling. They are going to try and attract the largest group of ppl possible, and doing so they dumb down every aspect of the game so no 1 will get stuck/ or have to suffer through a mechanic for long that the player dislikes. Also known as streamlining/ death of a game.
6:19 i personally tried sneaking behind that robot thing and take the items, it worked, it didn't even notice me when I was literally in melee range lol
The best advise comes at the End of that video. Rather do lots of Quests than fight lots of enemies. As a newbie you are only be able to defeat enemies who give you just 5XP or 10XP. But you can accomplish quests where you can get 200xp and up to 1000xp. 1000xp... would equal 200 Criters. Forget about fighting animals and mutants at the beginning, the xp revenue is to low. Later on you can take out lots of raptors with plasma rifles or grenade launcher or fire spells. You can be a glass canon and your companion is the tank, if you don‘t want to learn reading each enemies attack pattern to defeat them with melee-attacks. Just use range weapons.
If this is your first PB game I highly recommend to use EASY mode due to clunky mechanic. Once player surpass that, can raise difficulty in the same game without restarting.
i just started playing this game, haven't played a game for PB before, the game is hard af and i am now around 10 hours of the game and i can only fight rats xD ... but actually am really having fun with it so far ... your tips are good, from my exp with those 10 hears i can add one tip for 2020 players whom want to play it xD >>> don't spend attribute points randomly ... just wait till u need to lvl up something ...
i love the game but i do have a problem to leave the main town as enemies are too rough with one hit kills. i found that strangely enough combat works better with controller which is surprising for game like this
I love how hard it was at the start ... makes for a get challenge of not just killing low level mobsters to gain easy levels ... harden up peeps and man up for a challenge
elijah mikle.. no i simply meant it is not that easy to kill the low level ones either.. as opposed to game which make it easy to kill some things at the start .. meaning it is good to be challenged from the start of the game
I just downloaded this game a few days ago and I’m enjoying it actually. Story is really good but the enemies have been smacking the hell outta me. I will get the hang of it eventually lol
I killed my first companion in this game because I'm the hero and I have to kill all the bad people. After that I got rekt by the world because even the weakest creatures two-hit me in this bugfestival.
my advice: dont lock onto ur targets so u can just sidestep(not dodge) their attacks.. if u stand a few meters away most monsters will perform some heavy attack that can be sidestepped and while they are still in their animation u can safely attack them.
When do you get to choose a faction? If I choose a faction will the others hate me and try to kill me as soon as I come into their attack zone/area? Also I want to experience a variety of weapons.
Other developers: "We want to make sure the player can do everything at the start"
Piranha Bytes: "Lol, good luck killing anything"
I love PB games.
Never played a PB game before, but with Elex i'm having a blast, if you can get past some clunky mechanics you will find a really really good and challenging game
Alex Spagnuolo yeah, that's part of the course lol. Welcome!
Definitely give gothic a play too
I've played all PB games before and it's the same, I'm having a blast so far. Sometimes I like just free roam and explore sessions and sometimes work on the missions. It's awesome to go early to places where you're obviously not supposed to and find some cool loot (ie. got a pair of glasses which highlight all items around me, even through walls)
How are the RPG mechanics? Is there roleplaying? Choice and Consequence? Immersive world? Living world? Is it Dynamic AND Tactical?
If you want to play Gothic 1 you can install the DirectX11 community patch to get it to 1080p.
They should've called it ELEX: Prepare to Die Edition. Once I started travelling in openworld on lvl 4, I died more than I did in DS! Every damn creature killed me with 1-2 hits...

This game hates you, drinks your tears and laughs at your pain. And it's the best RPG I've played in years.
So true
Sixth sense lets you know where enemy's are, you can get it through learning points or gear, I found a pair of glasses that gave it, its a big help.
I found the glasses in a chest at the farm south of the dome city, they're invaluable, or you can buy the glasses for 2500.
Yeah I found some scientist shades or something that added that trait
Id rather have a game like this more than microtransactions
Agree one million percent ...I made the biggest mistake playing a space game, The money I spent was beyond crazy. And nothing to show for it.
That is why I bought this game to be honest. This is just a straight up RPG. No frills.
Exactly right. Ignore all these so called publications giving microtransaction and loot boxes games >90% reviews. They've all been bought out. Games like Elex are where it's at.
I'd rather play bloodborne, that one is challenging. Elex combat system redefines the term "fuckawful" :)
If you are going to sneak, like on that mech, it actually works if you go behind where enemies can't see you not right in front of their face....
Zero Kool i sneaked up to it, was so easy.
1. Get a companion, 2. Use jet pack to get away 3. Run 4. Explore and take everything
if you say so
elijah mikle you can‘t get bored if you do entertaining quests like most quests of elex.
Thanks for your vids and all your effort to get good publicity out for Elex. I'm personally lvl 18 and 24 hours in roughly and man I'm loving it.. after hour 10 this game really starts to shine
Freedom, questdesign and worlddesign is awesome! That is a real rpg and i love it.

Joel C Too simple? I've beaten Souls games that weren't this difficult. I wouldn't dream of upping the difficulty.
Stan Cratcha tbh the game is not hard it's just unfair and unbalanced
Eh, its pretty easy if you manage stamina properly, dodge roll attacks and jetpack to refresh stamina and chip away at whatever you're attacking. Big things like trolls or mobs gets more complicated but its normally possible to kite stuff away and 1v1 them.
I’m having a blast with this game. But then again I am that kind of person who doesn’t give up if I fail. I adapt and do better next time.
I found an area that had a troll, I avoided it and found a Reaver camp. I ended up leading about 12 of these guys back to the troll, and let him kill them all for me. This is one of the most awesome games ever, so addictive that I can't explain.
Mesmerizing is all I can say.
Piranha bytes games are perfect, fell in love with the companys design back in the day we played Gothic games.
I have one problem in this game so far and that is that the special dialogue options early in the game requires you to have for example (2 survival) or whatever and that annoys me because it’s hard to level up those skills so early in the game

just equip a shield and most enemies are harmless unless in they are in groups.

elijah mikle not really. You can level pretty damn fast actually.
A summary of my experience with elex is something like this,
I saw a mongrel on the road, I tried to kill it knowing it was hard and got wrecked.
_Quick Reload._
Now I'll kill this stupid mongrel with arrows from the air! Mongrel proceeds to spit blue fire to me and again I got wreked.

You're joking right? I'm playing easy right now and I'm getting my ass kicked. Hell, even the early equipment in this game is way too demanding with it's stat requirements. I only get 10 attribute points per level up. I can't keep up with this BS.
even easy is pretty hard at the beginning, but you will get so fucking strong in the game. so in the mid game easy mode will be way to easy. i recommend play on easy and after 8h play time put it on normal. in end game u will kill even those trolls in a few hit on normal mode.
just make sure your "windows key" is disabled a real bitch in a fight especially if you use alt as your evade attack key. lots of fat fingering!
Maybe you just fucking suck LMFAO
The game is awesome thats it
its also infuriating
im level 17, cant find any more quests to level up and what quests i do have i cant complete because the enemies are impossible
thats the problem is ive pretty much done all the quets i can find in all the towns, i dont know what to do; i guess ill figure it out though. clerics and their delusional brainwash is annoying, but since ive heard theyre the most op its probably worth it, im a berserker
Have you been to origin? thats easy xp, so are companion quest's. Doing ray's companion quest is about 10k xp and isn't that hard. Doing the separatist stuff is quite a bit of xp too.
Game of the year for me. hands down.! amazing game world !
Guess 2017 must have been pretty bad for games then
@@Flamalamx yeah, it was pretty tame. The usual cash cow projects with 10000 micro transactions. You know the usual modern game development style.
You can just lure the chicken out run in take the loot and run out.
Although killing him is possible, took me like 10 deaths.
The good thing is that your damage raises with every hit you land and you can use the last bit of your stamina to do extremely high damage even on the larger monsters.
i dont agree to NOT playing on easy cause the difficulty in this game isnt the hp of mobs, its the fight mechanic itself
Lorenzo Petskalorenzo get duras as an companion he can kill most enemies for you n you gain the exp from his kills
The Converters of the Albs are true Goldmines! You should tackle them as soon as the oppurtunity shows!
It is hard. It is challenging. But guys just don't get frustrated. Accept that dying is a part of life. Especially on Magalan
Never played PB game. Decided to try on hard without knowing anything about game, I like to play games on hard. First few hours it's sod amn clunky, but I see the potential and I like the world so I promise myself to not stop.
I hope I will start loving it, it has huge potential for me. Some really nice things in it that I like.
great video! havent played any of their games in like 11 years, elex is amazing
Thanks for the coverage! Elex doesn’t get enough love. Glad it is here!
Thanks for watching!
Sim Flyer yeah, I guess magalan is a planet similar to earth.
It was Earth before.
Swords are from earth. So are guns. Why couldn't they have invented cars?
But it is earth? I'm pretty sure it just has a different name... or it was changed after the Comet hit
Despite the issues I find myself coming back and wanting to play more.
Just started playing elex. Good advice, so I subbed
i played first gothic, and every other gothic for the record , and risen . its completely normal for all their games to have tiered difficulty on enemies, solved by tiered progression of armors and weapons. once u get new stuff, a whole group/type of enemies becomes killable, and to do that u need to go with story quests and exploration. feels natural for me. only problem i have is lack of data. id prefer to c clearly how much dmg i do or take and what are mine and enemies exact stats, kinda like in dark souls or fallout 4. otherwise it feels like game arbitrarily cheats on u. its probably all fine under the hood. I wouldnt mind to have at least an option to turn on combat log like in baldurs gate or toggle hp numbers on enemies to be more aware what is going on
How did find soo many arrows ! Im loving the game and new to PB but admit its hard
you can buy the stack of arrows, then trade again with the same merchant and buy another stack, rinse and repeat for unlimited arrows, if you've got the money. (once you join the berserkers they sell arrows for 1 gold instead of 2 gold)
You can buy it.
Oh, I love that game!
6:25 sneak behind, take weapon, leave stealthily
just sneak and approach from the back of the big machine. that way it will probably not notice you and you can get the weapon and withdraw without getting shot.
before you follow Duras, use the elevator back up again, then use the jetpack to get to the upper levels of the satellite station. there's some nice loot there. just be thorough... or return there after you got the special sunglasses.
some enemies like jackals, horned wolves and rippers sleep at night, so you can circumvent them by sneaking or running by during nighttime.
want up get a leg up?
That’s how I did it to. Worked great.
I love elex! It reminds me of an obsidian game but dark souls difficulty, can't stress how much fun I have in the game, I honestly lose track of time when I play it.
I'm loving this game if only Fallout 4 had dialogue system like this it would have been a better game
Doesn't matter, there's a bug in the game that lets you get infinite monies. So free armour if you're a bitch :D
A good way to get lots of money without glitching is the animal trophy skill.
NicoNein yup, that is what I used. That and a crap ton of cigarretes.
Just started this game and it was challenging in the beginning, but now at lvl11 it's much more enjoyable. Reminds me a lot of Gothic 1& 2
what items should I sell? I am afraid to sell anything cause i dont know if it used in crafting or quests, like cigarettes?
Love this game, well done PB
Her melee isn’t as powerful per hit but her weapon poisons which does more damage in the long run.
getting the ring of vigor in the starting area before you meet duras is helpful for early game too
i don't know if this a valid tip, but it worked for me: rush 3 charisma points early on, so you can get some quests done without any conflict. then, at least 2 points in combat, then survival or crafting. usually crafting dialog options require too much (4 and up) points, and not choosing that didn't really put me in a bad position...
If you wanna do that, go to the outlaws buy drugs to temp boost charisma, or whatever stat you need and do quests without wasting points in cha that you don't need
I want to get into magic but still no results can't get become a berserker
Your video tipped the scale for me into buying this game :)
Joel C you can buy as much arrows as you want from the merchants. Their inventory is resupplied each time you talk to them.
my best advice: dont just use the smaler Elex potions for 100 xp! use them for crafting normal elex potions!
Great video.!
Happy New Year!
its because gamers are not gamers anymore they want everything easy
KIng Green I'm not even going to bother listening to you while you have that as your profile pic.
Love this game.... i change to easy and still getting killed by 2 hits XD... but getting more easy when i fight with a partner
Ohhh this game is still so hard, ohhh this game has still no logic lol :D But still, I love it :p
i just started playing this game, haven't played a game for PB before, the game is hard af and i am now around 10 hours of the game and i can only fight rats xD ... but actually am really having fun with it so far ... your tips are good, from my exp with those 10 hears i can add one tip for 2020 players whom want to play it xD >>> don't spend attribute points randomly ... just wait till u need to lvl up something ...
i love the game but i do have a problem to leave the main town as enemies are too rough with one hit kills. i found that strangely enough combat works better with controller which is surprising for game like this
As a PB big fan I strongly agree with your advice
I love how hard it was at the start ... makes for a get challenge of not just killing low level mobsters to gain easy levels ... harden up peeps and man up for a challenge
elijah mikle.. no i simply meant it is not that easy to kill the low level ones either.. as opposed to game which make it easy to kill some things at the start .. meaning it is good to be challenged from the start of the game
As soon as one manages to learn the ropes in a PB Game, then you will have a blast. I know I have... as a PB Fan from day 1 :)
I just downloaded this game a few days ago and I’m enjoying it actually. Story is really good but the enemies have been smacking the hell outta me. I will get the hang of it eventually lol
Thanks for the heads up. Great info and video.
I like how you explain things good job dude 🤙🏽
I killed my first companion in this game because I'm the hero and I have to kill all the bad people. After that I got rekt by the world because even the weakest creatures two-hit me in this bugfestival.
my advice: dont lock onto ur targets so u can just sidestep(not dodge) their attacks.. if u stand a few meters away most monsters will perform some heavy attack that can be sidestepped and while they are still in their animation u can safely attack them.
love your name, brings amusing thoughts when i see the vaultboy and think of the cannibalism perk lol
Joeseph Hays hahahahaa shit he got me
Thanks man for the videos, helpled me a lot trough my gameplay streaming. :)
U can also sneak from behind since the weapoms is behind the fighting collossus
I love this game, warts and all :)
Can you make a video on how to lock pick in this game? I'm horrible at it
When do you get to choose a faction? If I choose a faction will the others hate me and try to kill me as soon as I come into their attack zone/area? Also I want to experience a variety of weapons.
Do a video about best factions and how to join then from the start of the game.
Best faction is your own faction, and no, I'm not talking about the Albs
