I have owned this monitor for a month and the built in speakers are shockingly good. Also, for those that say this has a fan and it's loud I don't hear a thing.

How is it in daylight? I know it’s less bright than my IPS office monitor but I really want all the benefits this monitor has for gaming/night time use on top of productivity use.

Still, it’s one more moving part that can fail in time, and it’s not easily replaceable unlike a case fan. 😳

Hey man, I'm just wondering if we can use the 27" mode to play in 1440p ? Just wondering if you can test it out and let me know if the experience is bad or not 🙏

I have a question, and I don't think anyone is talking about it but the 'color temperature control' setting in AMD's gpu software is on by default and completely ruins colors from what i can tell (even with custom color disabled (need to toggle 'custom color' to enabled then disable 'color temperature control'). Turning this off appears to fix washed out hdr and looks way more realistic. And even in SDR mode, it fixes colors in a completely opposite way, colors looked really oversaturated to me when windows is in sdr mode until i disabled this setting. Someone here know about this? Has anyone tested this setting?
This has been my experience with the 32gs95ue but could be just a windows+amd gpu thing?

@@ezzyMODE No, because theres some gpus that arent good with 4k and lag a lot, if you use a low end gpu with a 4k screen and try to play its gonna be really laggy. I recommend a 4070ti super, 4080, or a 4090

I used mine with a 3080 10gb. It was fine but I imagine it depends on what game you play and how much fps you want for said game. I played a lot of Overwatch at 240 and 480hz, Helldiver's, NMS, etc. I loved the monitor but sadly ended up returning it as it was a bit pricey for me. Some of the games I played were a bit too hard to run at high refresh like Halo Infinite, but you can't even get 240hz on a 4090 with that game, it is just really demanding

I have a 7900 XTX and I suggest something like a 4070ti/7900 XT or better from current or last generation as this is a 4k 240hz monitor. If you don't have that or better you will not be getting all of the value you could get out of this unless you are playing exclusively esports titles or Minecraft and I would suggest instead to get a 1440p monitor or if you insist on going 4k get a 60hz one for way cheaper. (of course you could just use this as a really expensive 480hz 1080p monitor but there are better options if you are only using the 1080p mode.)

The thing that makes me stay away from this is that it has a fan. Some users have reported it being audible, other OLED monitors have heatsinks instead

@@sm7085 fan starts at startup and stays at the same speed no matter what content i was consuming. i'm very sensitive when it comes to noise, so maybe thats why this monitor wasn't an option for me. everything else was great. i had the 32GS95UX version. you can set the fan speed in the manufacturer service menus but i guess this would have negative effects in the future.

I honestly loved the picture at Best Buy. That’s what convinced me to buy it. They had others and it was the best to my eyes. And I wanted a 4K monitor that I can switch to lower resolution for CS. There is always something better. That’s the main thing. I think it’s a pretty good monitor for what it is.

A lot of them are QD-OLED, which has its own issues with purple-tinted blacks with ambient light as well as an inferior sub-pixel layout for text clarity/productivity . Also, many competing monitors have large gaudy gaming-style logos right on the front of the monitor, and this monitor is unique for having no visible logo on the front and none of that childish over-designed RGB aesthetic.
