- This time I am exploring all about snapshot 23w45a and specifically the new breeze mob, which can do some pretty cool things. here are 4 Of the things I came up with!

You could possibly also use the breeze player cannon to launch people horizontally, as a method of transport

could use a regeneration beacon to severely lower the chances of a player dying due to the damage they take from the breeze during the minigame, and feather falling boots
Maybe you should add water down below.
the trap doors should have random groups of 2x2 oriented in a way that makes bigger gaps when closed
Try using the breezes as a reliable player detector. Since it's a mob it detects players and can activate redstone too.
pufferfish proximity detector already works better. with breezes you'd have to adjust line of sight

@@meowphedrone That's kinda the point. And since they can detect players form a distance in their line of sight and can DIRECTLY activate redstone, makes them suitable for a radar like block for players

breeze's requirements of the line of sight make the breeze mob no better than a skeleton shooting at buttons, targets or pressure plates
not to mention that the breeze tries to flee from the player if too close, so if you are close enough it will not attempt to shoot players and will not activate any redstonery
Why not use fence gates instead of trapdoors, since those don't have any collision box when opened? It's a minor thing, but it could prevent some cheese
Part of the mini game is that the breeze bullets can hit the opened trapdoors to let the game go on forever, and that doesn't happen with the fence gates

The cool part is that the trail chamber also has redstone for the breeze like a pillar in the middle of a room with buttons and when press water Will flow.

I like how breeze can now just be a mini game mechanic
Don't forget to give name tags to the breezes, otherwise those contraptions just won't work without them (specifically despawning)
bubble column doesn't affect breeze balls that much in the latest snapshot (24w07a)

The funny thing about TrapFall (The minigame) is that your can push/punch your opponent out to the game area, maybe add some little extra hard, instead of a full circle on it, it's a shape of a ring so if anyone got knockback into the senter, they gonna quickly to eliminated. And another one they also have a fishing rod which is makes game more harder and funny at the same time.

That isn't a breeze specific "bug", the same thing happens to wither skulls (as shown by Docm in hermitcraft above Scar's base)

U could make a mini game like run, so player 1 is running through an obstacle course and player 2 has to press buttons to move pistons to make harder for player 1.😊
I think this is a good change for Diamond Fire, i mean now you can make a staff that pushes buttons,levers and players
You can make cool things with comman blocks
The launch would be a cool thing to have in your base and you can be launched with your elytra for a quick get away or attack.
The player launcher thing reminds me of ye olde elytra launch pads from back before rockets were used for flight.

I believe this minigame was already made by RedJet/Craftymasterman/Squibble

For the breeze cannon you could put a villager inside the composter and place a slab on top so it can’t get out so you could just stand at the top as ammo is given to you
You know you have a favorite channel when you like the video before even watching it
Can't wait for Mojang to realize they accidently made something fun and remove the ability for the projectiles to be held in stasis

Depending on how easy it is to stay alive in that mini game you could have tall dripleaf instead which auto reset and will drop you through no matter where you stand on it

It would be cool if we could get breeze rods and make a Wind Staff to use those projectiles to kinda rocket jump if you shoot it at your feet or as a ranged weapon with high knockback. If they don't I'll just make a data pack for it, but it would be a missed opportunity to not let us harness that.

Fun fact: This monster is used to change google engine search because when you type Breeze before the mob was added, it shows you a hack named Breeze till now because it will shows you sites of the mob Breeze

This is actually a really cool mob.
And if it ever does end up sucking, I'll definitely know.
Could be used to make more affective TNT cannons in a more compact design.

For the breeze launcher, could you theoretically instead makw it so the water is released on one side and the balls pushed forward into someone standing infront of them, instead launching them very far forward ? Or alternatively could you use it to launch an enderpearl
A ender pearl launcher would be awesome, if you launch it high up and have a low render distance it would tp you back if another player came near your base.

The minigame could be more interesting if you used several layers of trapdoors instead of only one, each layer having their 4 breezes, in a enough distance so that the breeze can't detect players in the upper/lower layer.
I might actually do the detail on trap 4! :)

Toad’s factory by far has the best music from mk wii
Problems:
1) Breezes only spawn in Trial Chambers
2) you need to attach name tags to each one in order for it NOT to despawn.
3) They’re stupid buggy, and the cannons, and launcher will most likely break once mojang decides that these ideas are too cool, and are thus not part of how Minecraft should be played.
Add like, A couple layer of the trapfalls and sounds like a long game 🎉
They might work like wither skulls shot from the wither where they don’t colide unless they are moving

Use fence gates in stead of trap doors so that the hitbox gets fully toggled off
1:06 i have a better idea just get a skeleton in a mine-cart to shoot at the breeze then move it to the area where you stand to reload the ammo

Do the breeze projectiles get shot by exploding tnt? Cause then you can make something like a grenade that hurts and launches you making up for some funny traps 🤔
